It’s surprising to me to see this news, because I don’t really know what Harry Maguire is doing for Manchester United. Harry Maguire doesn’t play anything special when playing for Manchester United; his performance has even improved currently. We all saw how Harry Maguire was performing poorly before; he does make stupid mistakes, which at some points even his other co-players don’t like passing to him, because they know he might end up making a mistake, so why does Manchester United even have to keep a player like that? Manchester United should go for young and talented players; Harry Maguire is already old.

Maguire doesn't really have a special performance and he has also been in bad condition in the last 2 seasons but I think I know about the reasons why Amorim wants to keep him. Man United's defensive line is very vulnerable when they face set pieces from their opponent and the only defender who had a good response to that situation was Maguire. Newcastle has taken the lead as Alexander Isak has scored his own goal. Nothing can be worse for the Tottenham, then to be losing this match by their own goal. I know there is full 2nd half left but the body language of Newcastle suggests they are in business today. They are dominating in this match in terms of ball possession, shots and goals.
