In recent games Man U shows not bad results, this is if you look at the statistics of recent matches... But in fact I see only one confident win over an outsider in the EPL... The away game with Foresters will have to end in a loss, although I do not understand why bookmakers give such high odds on the home team - 2.2... After Foresters Man U meet Man City, then a Europa League game against Lyon, then a trip to Newcastle, then a return game with Lyon... I think that this schedule will be hell for the Red Devils...

The schedule that must be followed by teams competing in the Europa League or Champions League is also very tight. For teams that do not have enough players as replacement options, then they will have difficulties, at least in their performance they could experience a decline. I think this difficulty must also be experienced by Amorim. he does have several other players, but Amorim still seems to have difficulty in the front line. Maybe it's better for Amorim to focus on the Europa League, the Premier League that he can hope for is to improve his position.

Yeah, definitely all of this schedule sure have a way it takes a bad tour on both the players and the coach, the coach himself is more at risk because it is just himself, but the players can be replaced to allow the ones that played in previous matches some time to get some quality rest, but then like you said, this can only be possible if the club has a lot of players indeed, always to their advantage regardless of the fact that feel more players may kind of be another work altogether for the coach in trying to manage and contain everyone.

Definitely coaching isn't as easy as many of us usually will think it is, imagine being a coach of a popular football club, it's a dream job but at the other hand, imagine having this type of schedule, you will have to stay up all day and night for several days training players to ensure you guys get a good chance of winning and making both the management of the club and the fans proud, really not easy, and I feel coaches are under appreciated for their efforts in managing sports teams.

There is no doubt that Manchester United have played well in the last two matches. But they are not a superpower that you can judge the match against Manchester City by their wins. City are in a much better position than United and are much stronger than the two clubs that United have played against. I mean, although Manchester United have been very confident and played very well in the last two matches, they are not against strong teams. So if you judge the match against Manchester City in United's favour based on those two matches, you would be wrong. Maybe you will see the proof of this in the next match against Nottingham Forest.

Nottingham Forest has really proved they're in form this season by them wining majority of their matches and by occupying the third spot in the Premier League. They've played 29 games, out of which they've won 16 games and drew 6, And currently they have not shown any sign of poor form from their last two matches. Therefore, this is really going to be a tough game though, facing Manchester United in this ecounter, I don't really see the easiness of Man Utd defeating Nottingham at their home soil, as the host team are doing all it takes to maintain their position and qualify for the champions league competition next season.

I think it's a misspeak to say that "it would be strange if Manchester City did not get a ticket to the Champions League next season," nothing is strange here, we all expect the worst for the club this season and it doesn't just happen, it has started since the beginning of this season. Perhaps you are viewing it from the past glory, but you shouldn't, time moves fast and we should judge situations by the current. Not even for what Man City played with Brighton in their last match, they are still weak and have only managed to win just 2 matches in the last league games. Man City should even pray that Brighton or Newcastle should not displace it, it's not only Chelsea that is the problem.

Manchester City are in a weakest mode since 2017 - 2018 season but they still have enough star players and experience to finish this season in top four. Fortunately for them that Premier League with good performances of representatives from Champions League, Europa League to Conference League, will very likely be given five slots for next season in Champions League.

This means, the target of Manchester City can be top four or a fourth position but it can be a little bit easier with a fifth position. If it is a fifth position, I think they are very likely able to get it but to be safely they will aim at a fourth position. Brighton is making surprise but let's say they won't be able to represent Premier League well in Champions League.

Now the difference between 4th and 7th place is only 2 points, so the whole fight is still ahead, but we can say for sure that City's financial capabilities and bench are much bigger and better than Brighton and Nottingham, and probably even better than Newcastle. If Guardiola can manage to replace Kevin De Ruyne, who is clearly losing his position, and find a common language with Haaland, then most likely City should not have any problems with taking the 4th place.
In addition, it is possible that 7 teams from the EPL will play in the Champions League, but the chances of that are slim, but 5-6 teams next year who will play in the Champions League from the EPL is quite realistic.

To add that Amorin did not make Sporting strong overnight, it was not in the first season that he arrived that he made Sporting strong, in the first season he began to organize the Sporting squad well, he stayed for 4 seasons as Sporting's coach, this allowed him to create a good team and that is what Manchester United needs, they need a long-term coach, someone who organizes the team and stays with the team for many years, something like 8 or 10 years.

I still don't give up on Amorim because he met Manchester United in a bad state which he haven't got any opportunity to play with the players he trusted, with the current form I still applause him because he is trying to bring out best in him. Since when he came I have made up my mind and not to expect anything from them due to the current situation of the team. I think their main aim is to maintain their staying in the league for next season, I have confidence in Amorim to be at his best time next season which makes me feel that next season will be very tough because many teams are going to wake from sleep, clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City .

Manchester City is already fifth position now so I don't believe they will finish at that position because the gap between them and Chelsea and Nottingham Forest is not really much and can be covered with few matches. Just like many other people, I believe that Manchester City have a better chance of ending in the fourth position than Chelsea. These things will become clearer soon as they return from the international break

For now their records in the Europa league is quite exquisite as being the only team that haven't lost a game but even that shouldn't be a ground to hold as Liverpool achieved the same faith but was knocked out in the round of 16th in the champions league.

After the international break, Nottingham Forest will face Brighton first in the FA Cup quarter finals, and then face Manchester United. Seeing Nuno Espirito Santo squad manage to hold Arsenal to a draw and beat Manchester City, I'm quite confident they will be able to make Manchester United suffer.
The Red Devils are 10 places below Nottingham Forest and the two teams are 17 points apart, I think that's enough reason why Nottingham Forest deserves to be favored, especially since they will be playing as the home team.

Yes, it is true that if they cannot maintain their consistent performance, then there is also a possibility that Manchester United will be eliminated from the Europa League because Lazio and Bilbao will definitely be tough opponents for Manchester United if they meet one of those teams in the semi-finals. Nottingham Forest are favourite when they will host home Manchester United. I don't think the actual Manchester United squad could show great performances, I am losing hope on them.
In the FA Cup, yeah the most prominent teams are effectively Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa and Manchester City if they played correctly. Brighton Hove and Albion isn't bad too, they have good moments too.

I think Ruben Amorim is a realistic person who can assess a situation, so of course he will prioritize the Europa League above all else. Manchester United has no hope left in the Premier League, and I think finishing in 8th or 15th place is the same, so why bother if it can't turn the situation around? The most important thing is that they don't just end up in the relegation zone. If we look at the current standings (20 points difference with 18th place), 2 wins and 1 draw should secure Manchester United.

From tbe beginning of the season, Liverpool never showed any sign of weakness, at least here in Premier League, I'm not sure if they are going to do such later. If they do that now, that means alot of players are getting sack and contract termination because how can you lose Champions League, failed in EFL cup and then come and lose here in the Premier League when you are just 2 months away of 8 matches of winning the league, it's not juts embarrassing but disrespectful to let such happen.

12 points isn't much but Liverpool will have to lose 4 matches and Arsenal has to win 4 matches consecutively, such will be hard except if they do it continuesly for like 10 weeks of win, draw and lose and it will be disgraceful for Liverpool to be very bad in 10 weeks when we ill be talking about lifting the trophy. What I can depict from the table is there could be changes between 3rd place and 4 places but second place and first is definitely secured.

Liverpool only loss this season is against Nottingham Forest, apart from that there are only victories and draws by Liverpool. The Liverpool team must be very clear that they are very close to winning title provided they don't lose too many of there remaining games. If we look at last five games played by Liverpool then it's clear that they are in full form since they have 4 victories and a draw in last five encounters.
Arsenal no doubt is a great team and can win more then 4 of their remaining matches but the key challenge is that they also need Liverpool to lose at least 4 or 5 of there remaining games.

Manchester United's inconsistency this season is never a reason to write them of as Europa League contenders, they may not have been good from unset but there chances of winning the Europa League is  still sure. Looking at the teams performance now, I think there is a significant change and the change can yield a good result for Manchester United this season. Although they started very bad but have improved dramatically and will soon gain consistency and balance to contest or even bag something at the end of this season.

Pochettino was main person behind success of this Chelsea because he has done good job and keep things on good level which helps Maresca for having good end of his first season at coach of Chelsea which is having strong case of ending their season in top five clubs even nine matches remaining and things can take changes, but their case is good for keeping this momentum.

I don't believe Pochettino is the sole reason for Chelsea's success. Team success is a collective effort, not just the work of an individual. That said, while Chelsea are in contention for a top four finish, they must avoid any form of complacency and be more clinical in front of goal and ensure they keep a well defensive stability to secure the desired result. Otherwise they risk missing out on the top four spot.

I don't understand how Pochettino is considered the main  reason for Chelsea's success. I won't deny that  Pochettino was able to stabilize chelsea to some extent. But Chelsea's success came because of Enzo Maresca. and of course Chelsea's players have also worked hard. Enzo maresca's match strategy is good. Maresca has also been able to strengthen the bonding between the players . Because of this, the players are very confident now . Chelsea's team cannot be called very strong yet. Chelsea's performance is still erratic. However, with the help of Enzo , Chelsea's performance  is now quite stable.

Amorim just couldn't figure out how to fix the problem. There is a lovely Steve Jobs quote that I like to say ,"apple is a ship with a whole in it and taking water, and my job is to direct the ship correctly". That is what Amorim is doing, he isn't solving the problem they have, he is trying to use whatever they have and put a good formation out there and trying to do their best.

But as long as this problem is out there, he can't get the best result he desires and what United fans deserve too. They have a huge branding recognition, which allows them to make a ton of money, more than half of the teams above them, and they still fail. Amorim can't just ignore the issue anymore, whatever it is, he needs to fix it. Stop taking water, before you direct the ship basically.

They have one big problem they do not play well all the time. In their last five games they have not played well and have lost three times. This has made them fall in rankings. Luckily teams they are competing with Manchester City and Newcastle have also played some bad games. This means Chelsea can still hold onto fourth place for now and try to qualify for UCL. But Chelsea position is not safe and we do not know if they will stay in fourth place. Their next game against Tottenham will be very important and it is hard to predict because Tottenham has not played consistently well this season either.

Yes, it is undeniable that if assessed one by one in its performance, there are several weaknesses of Chelsea that must be improved. Previously, their attack line was quite good, especially with the combination of Cole Palmer and Jackson. However, in the last few matches, its performance has declined quite a bit, unlike at the beginning of the season.

On the other hand, Chelsea's defense is still quite bad, because there is indeed a lack of quality players. Hemm, they often spend a lot of money to buy new players, but not top players that they can rely on

Agree with your opinion. Because actually Amorim's portfolio is good in terms of coaching, we can see this in his previous club, but of course the English league is a very different league compared to the Portuguese league. All top coaches will feel how tough the atmosphere of the English league is. So Man United has not been able to rise at this time is not entirely Amorim's fault, he is with Man United's current slump so it takes time to fix the team. Amorim needs some players to be able to make the team more solid with his playing style, the current squad is the squad left by Erik Ten Hag.

Because with the current squad, many players do not fit the philosophy brought by Amorim. For example, by looking at Hojlund's playing style under Amorim, I think he wants a striker who is tougher than a striker who carries the ball because he doesn't defend too deep and is quite isolated in the front line. So Amorim needs a striker who is more mature and more experienced than Zirkzee and Hojlund.

Man United's management must change the tradition when poor performance immediately fires the coach but they must give the coach time to create a solid team. Amorim currently has good hopes in the European league, so Amorim has the opportunity to prove that he is indeed suitable to coach Man United for the long term.
