This game is far from entertaining. Chelsea's pattern of football sucks me to the bones, I wish they lost that match or at least drew the game so Maresca would know that an all defense game with little or no attack isn't the ideal pattern to play. Even Nottingham Forest with their defensive play goes for more attack than Chelsea of today. If you look carefully, the Chelsea forwards are losing confidence to counter attack, or press forward simply because Maresca has turned all of them to merely glorified defenders.

I didn't enjoy this match at all, dunno for you guys. Thanks to Sanchez, Son would've equalized just before 90 mins. Caicedo too is good, he does his defensive midfield job cleverly, if only Palmer can wake up from his declining performance, we can be more crafty up front.

Chelsea have been playing very well this season. They started the season in fine form but along the way they fell off and have struggled with consistency and lack of confidence making them switch style to a defensive style because they fear conceding goals in every game. Looks like Maresca’s superb tactics are no longer working for the team and they need a new style that can impact confidence in the team.

I think it's quite disappointing when both teams draw. I did predict Chelsea and City to win easily against Brentford and Manchester United. Brentford and Manchester United are not in consistent form so it should be an easy win. This result makes the competition in the top 7 even more competitive. On the other hand Newcastle still have 2 games left against Leicester and Manchester United. I think they will win against Leicester. And if they win against Manchester United it will be a big advantage for them because they will be able to move Chelsea to fourth place and put pressure on Nottingham Forest in third place.
