Yes it's true that Amorin is not on the same level as pep guardiola or other top quality managers in the game but he is not as bad as you are making him looks like, or have you forgotten so easy that these players in Manchester united team are not his players? Let him sign his own type of players first.
Judging him now wouldn't be fair because he hasn't even experience a summer transfer window at the club, so after that, you can later criticize him if he spend so much and is still not delivering the much needed results expected, so let's wait for next season before we draw a conclusion of Amorin.

It is funny because Tottenham former coach were up against Manchester United in the Europa final, Postecoglou won the title for Tottenham and he still got sacked at the end, despite he qualified Tottenham for the Champions League but never got the chance to lead the team to play there. Manchester United didn't do well last season, finished close to Tottenham that got their manager sacked, United still have Amorim as their coach which seems like they are not putting pressure on him giving a long season to prove himself, i know for real if Amorim don't make this coming season interesting Manchester United will sack him before the end of the season comes, but with benefits of doubts Manchester United won't finish same place as of last season.

I'm not sure if it was something special, Manchester United players were not doing well, it's obvious but the coach then wasn't improving despite a having a lot of some experience, nothing great has they done. The club was tired of his incompetency and they have to let him go so another person can take over which I believe Amorim came on that spot, now he has the team responsibilities on him hoping they win something one day so this embarrassment stop.

They might relax a little before they want to change their of coach right away, it's been long since they did that substitution. If there was going to be any big changes, they might as well give him small contract with announcing it, like a caretaker but he was offer a role to be the coach, not that alone they have not said anything since the last season ended, the Premier League table for the next season is coming next coming weekend, any transfer now or never toll another open transfer market.

Funny enough, the Premier League is the only league that Manchester United will play in by next season. They are going to focus on their Premier League matches because of that, without divided attention as they did last season, to focus more on the Europa League than they did in the Premier League, which made them appear in 15th place.

However, I expect Manchester United to give their best fight in the Premier League next season without any divided attention or excuses.

They will perform well in the premier league next season, if only they can attract the kind of star players that Ruben Amorim would like to have in his team. I think even if Manchester United want to copy Chelsea’s process of reviving their squad it will be really difficult because of United’s financial situation currently. The mistakes made by Manchester United have been going on for a long time, not just in the last 2 seasons but they often buy expensive players then their market value drops even though they only have 1 season with the team.

I don't think it's the players' fault, for example Anthony who was immediately able to find his best performance when he was loaned to Betis but with Manchester United he seemed unable to develop and that was inseparable from his very bad team which had an impact on all the players.

There are so many things that Manchester United need to change if they want to rise and it certainly takes a long time to start the process, not instantly.

Yes, Manchester United will continue to collaborate with Amorim as their coach, because is look like the club have seen a longterm potential in his vision towards the strategy that will make them go further, and also his leadership style is very good and undeniable, furthermore the results he achieved last season even if those results have not included a trophy yet at Manchester United. Amorim has built a strong reputation at Sporting CP for developing young players, putting a clear tactical strategy, and competing with his opponent well above expectations in both domestic and European leagues.
