I don't have much hope for Manchester United, especially in the Premier League. They completely disappointed last season. I don't see any hope for them even for the upcoming season. Because there is no change in them and apart from the change of coach, there is no big change in Manchester United. We can only trust Amorim and watch Manchester United's matches to see his performance. As a coach, it is definitely important to see how much he can improve his team from the bad position. I will be happy to see them improve a little. The fight may not be easy for Ruben Amorim.

You are not going to stand on the basis of last season to justify a lack of hope in the team, they have made a few moves already towards improvement so we cannot throw them out in our taughts already but still do not have to place too much expectations on them too so more likely do not write them off but keep an open mind to the possibilities around any form of expectations, that way you get the probable best of your taughts and expectations as the case may be.

We’ll see on Matchday 1 how prepared they really are when Arsenal comes to Old Trafford with their new line-up — Gyökeres, Zubimendi, Madueke, and others. I don’t think Man Utd has prepared themselves properly for yet another Premier League season.

The first game will be a big test for both teams because it'll be the first Premier League game of the season and a chance for the supporters of each team to evaluate how prepared their teams are for the new season. For Arsenal not winning the game will mean that they're not prepared for the season and for Manchester United they will come under crazy criticism if they lose by a huge margin to Arsenal because the supporters of the club would not like to finish at the same position where they finished last season.

I predict Arsenal to win that game, they look to have a better structure than Manchester United currently, but I will still not underestimate Amorim and his tactics.

Do we have to blame the manager Amorim? He is filled with so much joy that if you ask him if he said he's ready to stay with the club for 20 years he might not even remember because he's happy to prove them with their first ever trophy. He should be thinking of how the next season would look like or the next 2 season if he will be able to over shadow the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea or maybe Tottenham Hotspur, these clubs are ready and they are in the mood of getting the job done so if Amorim thinks winning this title can grant him a spot at the top then he's a joker, playing at a friendly game doesn't make you start saying you'll spend 20years meanwhile he hasn't done a perfect regrouping in the squad, I hope this doesn't affect him in anyway.

It's not easy to make big changes to a team that's experiencing a decline in performance because they need real change, and I'm sure Amorim can gradually do that.
Winning titles with a team that's not very consistent is not easy because other teams have far more potential with the strengths they have now.
Amorim is rebuilding the Manchester United squad, and it will take time to see results. However, if they hope to achieve immediate success by winning a title, that's unlikely to happen anytime soon. This season, Anorim will struggle to compete with teams like Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester City.

A lot of Manchester United fans have been saying that the club is back to winning ways because of their last performance against Bournemouth. Manchester United supporters have gone as far as saying that Manchester United will shock everyone next season lol. I hope so, that is what we want, let them increase and tighten the competition in the league next season. We want premium entertainment.

No we're not back! Promising signs during the US tour games but our performance are not there yet. The both games against Bournemouth and Everton revealed that. Atm, we need a solid midfielder who fits into this Ruben Amorim's system, same thing with a central midfielder and goalkeeper. Until these positions are solved,  we will definitely struggle in the Premier League. But theni repeat, positive and promising. I also saw a recent video of Pep Guardiola saying he thinks Manchester United are coming back and that he likes what he sees.

Greater accomplishment you say, by this you're talking of total trophy in each of the competition. Even if you look at this, Chelsea still has no mouth in any of them because there's no trophy they have more than any other team in the league. If you talk of UCL they have only two, Liverpool has 6, Manchester United has 3 and Manchester has one, Arsenal non. In this category Liverpool and Manchester United fans should be making the noise here. Seriously you have made a well time taken analysis on the respective big five clubs in the EPL and their total trophies in the different competitions which I find very fascinating but my main point of argument was in all competitions in recent times of which Chelsea has had greater achievements than any English team in Europe tournaments. That's why I said that if we're to look into it in different categories every club has a place of strength for arguments and making noise out of it  For instance, has any English team won the CWC before? Or course no!

It's still funny again this your last question, are you referring to CWC new format or the old format? If it's the new format then your argument stand point holds no water because the new format was introduced this year, so this is it's very first edition, how then was another team supposed to win it when it's been played only once. The old format was different because you have to be UCL holder of that year to get access to play in the CWC. Chelsea has 2 UCL and they have one CWC that they won in 2022 which means they lost the one they featured in 2012. City has one UCL and one CWC. Both Liverpool and Manchester United all have one each because the competition kicked off fully yearly in 2005.

You are right and again we can't be comparing Amorim to Sir Alex Ferguson because it is very clear that Sir Alex Ferguson is more better than Amorim, I see it as a disrespect for us to even compare their two, sir Alex Ferguson was a great coach and he won a lot of trophies for Manchester United when Sir Alex Ferguson was in Manchester United, Manchester United was seen as a great club and ever since he left Manchester United till date Manchester United has never remained the same no coach has been able to replace him in teams of coaching very well.
No matter how long Amorim will remain in Manchester United he will never achieve the things Sir Alex Ferguson has achieved in Manchester United when a coach is good in coaching you will see it from the start last season Manchester United was almost relegated and Amorim was the coach, Amorim may perform well next season but let's not compare him with Sir Alex Ferguson because Alex Ferguson is more better than him in terms of coaching.

It's better Manchester United keep losing in the pre season games and keep winning when the main season starts, last season pre season games they did well infact most of the pre season matches we have seen them win game and then flop when the season kick off, but I believe all seasons can never be thesame Manchester United has made some good signing this season and I believe we will see a different game from them, there performance last season was too poor I don't think they will still perform badly this season.

It would indeed be better if that were the case. It's okay for Manchester United to lose in preseason. And I hope they focus on forming and building their first team well with the best strategy. So, winning shouldn't be the primary focus in preseason, but rather prioritizing the effectiveness of various strategies and players.

But will we see better performances from their midfielders and defenders?

If you change the position of players or the squad depth, you are definitely going to see some improvement than before but you know as the squad becomes used to a particular pattern so is other teams studying one another and not every team can withstand long performance, as time goes on you begin to see a different version of the team playing some disappointing games you never expected. Perhaps Manchester United is build different but we have to see in the league.

There are some players that are still in talk to be bought but don't know how serious the deal at this point. If they can bring those deals and have it completed, the team will have more strength than before and also sell some of the players that are long overdue. They will only be wasting weekly paycheck on some of them if they don't sell them to utilize the resources for the development of the club. I expect some purge but there hasn't been any serious one yet.

Asides from Making a bid to RB Leipzig for Sesko they have already inquired about Alexander Isak. Manchester United will be stacked in attack if they can get Either Sesko or Isak. I don't the Isak deal will pull through because Liverpool are in a good position to get the deal and as expected Isak prefers Liverpool over any other club.
One player that will shine for Manchester United is Amad Diallo, he show lost of spark last season but Manchester United season was embarrassing so he did not actually make great impact.

This is sure that right now manchester united  have not the ability to fight for the title now. In the last season Manchester United's performance was terribly weak. And it is impossible to improve so quickly. I also saw the performance of several friendly matches of Manchester United. I have not noticed much improvement.

Manchester United will probably want to be within the top 5 in the table next season and will want to qualify for the Champions League. They  are trying to strengthen their attacks. Manchester United bought Mbeumo and Cunha. Mbeumo  was able to score 20 goals and 7 assists with Brentford last season. Cunha scored 15 goals and 2 assists with Wolvs. Both of them performed excellent season.

Now trying to add young talented players to the squad like Manchester United SESKO. However, Manchester United should strengthen their defense. Manchester United's defense is relatively quite weak

I did not say being confident, i said they are capable which doesn't mean they can do it. When Amorim joined Manchester United, a lot of people were confident that he would bring the team standard more than Erik ten Hag did in his duration, Amorim was playing nice football at Sporting which they all thought he would do the same at United when he arrived, but it was too bad they never ended near top ten. There are teams to be confident about their ending, while some just get the best probability of ascertaining that position without doing it at the end of season.

All teams are geared up to improve their ranking in new season and United can improve their ranking only if they overcome shortcomings of last season.

I think he's was kidding actually, how can he be saying such a thing, yes he's got a great preseason experience and kind of did well but he should think of the task ahead before jumping into saying what he can't, I think he's major concern right now should be first how to get Manchester United back to the top four and second think of how to bring them back to their glory days, maybe win one or two major trophies then he can think of spending 20 good years in the team, rather than being overwhelmed with a summer series trophy, the season is about to begin we will see what he have to offer, and that alone will determine his stay at the club.

I still remember what Jose Mourinho once said, where he said that the best achievement in his coaching career was “taking Manchester United to second place.” And that happened in the 2017/18 season where Man United finished just below Manchester City. This statement makes me wonder, what really happened to Manchester United? How can a coach with extraordinary achievements say that his best achievement is bringing Manchester United to second place. This is something that shows how difficult it is for a coach to be able to bring this team to a better position.

Ruben Amorin will now have a full season with Manchester United, so let's see what Amorin can do this season. This season will really be a proving ground for him.
