Manchester United has only won seven of their 29 matches. The manager needs to be criticized for this. Perhaps it wasn't fair to criticize him last year, but this year they haven't won a single match. They drew one and lost the other. This is why Manchester United is experiencing a worsening performance. They need to straighten out this downward spiral. Of course, this will require radical decisions and significant spending.

We can't start putting too much expectations on Man UTD just yet. The season has just begun and it's not like they are the only ones who have not preformed well. Look at Newcastle too. They are yet to win as well. I just feel that we are placing too much expectations on Man UTD more than the other teams. So what if Man UTD signed much players that are yet to score? In their next match against Burnley maybe we'd see something different.
 Ruben Amorim is a good coach but as far as I'm concerned he hasn't balanced his strategies just yet and although the experiments he has been carrying out with his players have yet to pan out, I still reiterate that the season is still young and there is time to shut critics up.

It would be foolish to expect anything good from Manchester United based on the performance we saw in the first two matches. I don't understand if they bought some players this season or if it was just to console the fans. They brought three players to their club this season so I thought these three players might perform well and they would play a good role in the club's victory but they didn't perform significantly well. Now many may say that they are new to the club so it will take them a lot of time to adapt to the club but I don't like the idea of a good player taking time. Even then if these three players had played well then our opinion of them would have changed a little bit after seeing their performance in the first two matches but I didn't feel anything different after seeing their game.

I disagree with this mate, this is not true because if you actually watch Manchester united vs Arsenal that is Manchester united first match in the premier league, you would see there was an improvement to the point that Manchester united dominated first half and second half, they hard more attempts than Arsenal just that they were unfortunate to win the match. But Manchester united previous match against Fulham was totally a different performance from what they played against Arsenal and at some point I was wondering why this kind of performance after playing a nice football against Arsenal. Onana has been disappointing, to be honest. I know mistakes can happen at any time, but his mistakes are becoming more frequent. Those two goals were preventable. He's not the only one who's struggling in this match, other players are also having a tough time, none of them have really impressed in this match. Manchester United has conceded two goals in the first half, and given Grimsby's current performance, to be honest, if they maintain it, they might score more in the second half.

If Manchester United can't win this match, which match will they win? I can't even understand what is really going on with Manchester United team this season, with the players they sigh this summer and still not performing well in all competitions. This my first time of hearing a club name call Grimsby but they have get opportunities against Manchester united this night. If they really lose this game tonight, he will be a shameful thing for the players and the coach himself. How can they conceded 2 goals against small club since from the first half.  Onana as not be in a good form for Manchester United since from some season and they need to let him move to new club he can't continue in the club.

The second goal was so cheap Onana really need more training is not doing well anymore. Amorim need to do something in the second half if they want to progress to new stage in the competition. Seriously I don’t know what Manchester United problem is right now, losing to a team like Grimsby is what I never except, Manchester United performance is just terrible. I don’t even know who to blame for Manchester United current problem, because the results am seeing from Manchester United is just annoying. Just in the first half of the match Grimsby scored two goals, the second half of the match is just starting, but I don’t think Grimsby will allow Manchester United score two goals in the second half of the match, if they can’t score more goals, then they just going to defend the two goals which they have already.

The thing that's making it more annoying is that they're winning the possession but can't win a match, how can they have 10 shots without any goal whereas Grimsby has only 6 shots with 2 goals, I don't really understand what's going on in this team, the whole team is messed up and not going to change anytime soon.

I don't know if I should blame the goal keeper because at some point he was at fault. Onana was actually good in his formal club that's why he was bought by Manchester United but after his move to the club, things just took a new turn and he became like this, the worse of it is that his not improving. Manchester united has issues and it's right to start with the manager, it a team has won Seven games out of 29 matches it means that there's something wrong in their tactics and formation but the issue isnt being addressed and this is why they keep on getting worse. If the team needs to be reformed and the manager needs to be changed let it be done swiftly because the club keeps going down everyday

I was expecting Ruben Amorim to perform differently from the past Manchester United head coaches because I see him like a coach that could solve Manchester United's problem, but with the way Ruben Amorim is currently performing at Manchester United, I think changing coach isn't the problem of Manchester United, and even if Manchester United sacks Ruben Amorim and hires another coach, there's a big possibility the coach wouldn't perform well at Manchester United. Manchester United problem is like a spiritual problem, i don't know who they offend that have laid a curse on them not to be prosperous again because they have applied every strategy, even spent a lot of money but the club keeps getting worse each match. Imagine losing 2:0 in first half to a league two team Grimsby, like what is wrong with Manchester United defenders and Onana, why have the club not been able to replace Onana and bring in a new experienced goalkeeper. Anyways Manchester United have managed to score one goal, and the score is now 2:1 so let's see if they can get an equalizer.

I don't really know why Amorim is keeping Onana at Manchester United, despite Onana's poor performances last season. Seriously, I didn’t expect Amorim to keep a player like Onana, because I don’t think he’s worth keeping at Manchester United. In fact, most of the goals that Manchester United conceded last season were because of the silly mistakes Onana kept making  and he’s started doing it again.If Onana were serious with himself, I don’t think he would continue making this kind of mistake.

At this point, I don't know what's wrong with Manchester United, that they keep putting up with these poor performances despite the recent signings they’ve made. Is the right time we start questioning the managers game pattern because when van nistelrooy took over from erik ten hags' he introduced the 4-3-3 formation that worked in his few matches before leaving so if Amorims 3-4-2-1 formation is not yielding result i think the best option is to improvise and find another unique game pattern that can give good result instead of destroying some legacy built by Manchester united for years

The score was already 2-2, but Manchester United still couldn't turn the situation around... they had so much possession, yet none of it resulted in more goals. This was quite unfortunate, because in terms of player and team quality, Manchester United should be far above Grimsby Town, but still, it was disappointing that they were unable to dominate the game. I'm also not sure whether this was due to a strategic error or because Onana is still not ready to be a starter.

The current scoreline is 2-2, this is quite disappointing from Manchester United and who to blame now is a serious question to answer at this point.  Both the coach and the players has got their very fair share of the blame in it all, the coach alone cannot be blamed on this, Manchester United has the possession mostly and even tried very well to force the attack but has been able to make tangible conversion except for this which they have managed to come with in the second half, it is again really disappointing against this kind of team they happen to be loosing because I do not want to see this scoreline as a draw which it actually is.

I'm not watching Grimsby vs Manchester United match, but from the picture I saw on facebook a few minutes ago, in the picture, Onana was out of the goal post, so I think Onana is to blame for the goal. Even if Onana was good at his former club, it was because of the love Erik Ten Hag has for Onana that Manchester United to signed Onana from Inter Milan, and if not for Manchester United hiring Erik Ten Hag as Manchester United head coach, there's no way Onana would have joined Manchester United.
