Last season, I could understand Amorim he took over a Manchester United that had suffered a setback. This season, they made some good signings, bringing in players like Cunha and Sesko.

While there are still some shortcomings, I think there's no excuse left. A new goalkeeper is currently on the agenda, but I don't think the goalkeeper is the only problem. With the current players, Amorim should be much better tactically and help Manchester United score.

Amorim must be hoping that the new players haven't settled into the team yet. Because if this is really the game they're going to play, he's got a tough job ahead of him. We'll have to wait a few weeks. In the meantime, they surely know that their realistic goal isn't the championship. It's impossible for this team to compete against Arsenal and Manchester City.
About goalkeeper issue it looks like they will continue with Altay Bayındır. But if they sell Onana they have to buy another goalkeeper, which would be better than Altay.

It will really be a tough time for Amorim this season with the manner at which other top six clubs are strengthening their teams, it’s a good thing United are also making signings so there will be no excuses for failure and finishing 16th this season. United already have a goalkeeper target close to joining them so soon the issue of goalkeeper will be over hopefully.

With Manchester United performance yesterday in the carabao cup it shows that those their signing are working at all i can't believe that Manchester United won't be able to win Grimsby town in the carabao cup yesterday after signing in 3 frontline to their squad.
There is no different between Manchester United of last season and Manchester United of this season, have they not been able to record any winning in all competition and this is a sign that nothing has changed in the team and if they continue this way last season will be a good season for them than this current season they might be relegated.

If you value your money, I would advise you to stop betting on Manchester United for now. They are in a position where they can lose to any team. I was really surprised by the result against Grimsby and it was very disappointing. I expected Manchester United to win easily and it would be a big loss. But they lost to a team that was several times weaker than them. This proves once again that betting is not entirely based on statistics, it also requires luck.

I think Ruben Amorim's departure has already begun due to yesterday's loss. Maybe he will get a few more games and if he doesn't do something good there, I don't see him at Manchester United.

I didn't blame Amorim for Manchester United's performance in the past few  matches. But I am very disappointed to see Manchester United's performance against Grimsby. A renowned team like Manchester United failed to win against Grimsby Town. A lot of bettors lost their money for sure. I thought Amorim would be able to gradually stabilize the team. But I don't see that possibility anymore. Amorim may be sacked in the middle of the season. Manchester United need to find a more experienced coach.

At this point, we should exclude MU from the list of team to bet. Betting on them is always giving us disaster result. They have 257x times valuation than Grimsby. It's hard to excuse from this loss. I see Manchester United's defeat in the EFL Cup as being due to a blunder by the Manchester United goalkeeper and a missed penalty kick after the match had already ended in a draw. Those are the only minor mistakes I can see, and perhaps in future matches, Manchester United needs a much more solid formation and better on-field leadership, such as a captain. Because a defeat like that really takes a toll on the Manchester United players, but I hope they can remain patient and fight hard in the more important matches this season.

Was there really any point in betting on 1.15 odds for a Manchester United win? I think it was pointless anyway, even if they had an easy victory. And before the match, you could have just looked at the starting lineup that Amorim set for this game. Even without considering that this is a lower-division team, it’s still a cup match, and who knows how the team would prepare for it? Of course, Manchester United was supposed to beat Grimsby easily and confidently. This loss only shows that Manchester United’s problems haven’t gone away.

I think a lot of bettors lost money. Because according to predictions,  Man United was the clear favorite to win. Remember, there is always a chance for a team to pull off a surprise, and today Man United shocked everyone. I think Amorim is under a lot of pressure right now with these poor results.

I didn't see how this match went. But this result proves Amorim's quality. I don't understand whether the players really weren't working hard. Did they deliberately lose to get rid of Amorim? This is terrible. Did Amorim really underestimate the opposing team? I don't understand what's happening. Even if the players fielded were second-string, their quality should still be better than Grimsby Town's. With all due respect, Amorin is the one responsible for that yesterday defeat mate. He's managing the team in a very uncomfortable ways with his formation. Manchester united squad is never suitable for 3-4-2-1 system but he's trying to force the idea on the players. The outcome was very predictable for people who can read the game because the team is already broken by playing players out of their usual position.

I couldn't help myself but laugh my ass out when the commentator said its difficult to tell which side is an EPL club and which one is a league two club. Manchester United is not only losing matches but also losing their credibility and respect.

This is another season, and we have yet to see any changes to their squad. Amorim methods will never work for Manchester United, as the attacking players are unable to score. I expect to see some changes yesterday when Amorim started Šeško, but the players failed to provide him with balls. Bruno needs to stop holding the ball and shoot as he did last season.

However, I still canbelieve Manchester United lost to a 4th division team, Onana must leave the team, and Bayindir should be their starting goalkeeper because Onana will never improve, he conceded unnecessary goals, and the players were also at fault for failing to score two goals in the first half, if Manchester United cannot solve their problems, I believe they should look for new ownership who will invest more in the team.

Then who is to be blamed if not Amorim at this moment? I think all the players he used are all playing to the best of their abilities, and he is in charge of selecting the players to use in his first eleven; and most fans complain that he is selfish in making his selections sometimes, and now it seems like he doesn’t know how to use his striker because Benjamin Sesko has now started to look like Rasmus Hojlund because he is not having the passes he needs to prove himself as a striker.

Amorim should be the one to set up his team the way he wants because with the players Manchester United has in their squad, I don’t expect them to struggle in winning their matches.

Onana is very unfit as Manchester United goalkeeper and for what we have seen his statistics since becoming the main goalkeeper of Manchester United, maybe in other clubs also not feasible.

Amorim should be able to behave like a coach who wants to give changes to what is considered to be improved.
For example in formation. 3-4-3 is not a solution formation from the results that Man United received. Therefore, he must replace it to 4 defenders not 3 defenders. But he still maintains the formation. So, what for Sesko is bought for the main position of Sesko is the target man.

Betting on Man Utd? You’re a seriously brave guy. I know it’s tempting to bet on them sometimes, but Man Utd and Tottenham are the teams that have let me down the most in betting. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve bet on them — or even against them — and somehow they always manage to fool me.

So I made the decision to stop betting on their games, no matter how tempting it might be. I’d rather skip betting that day than put money on them again.

I also liked Manchester united's gameplay against Arsenal. But can it really be called a good performance ? Let's look at the statistics of Manchester united's match against arsenal. Manchester united players were able to make 22 shots in this match. On the other hand , Arsenal players made only 9 shots. The interesting thing is that Manchester United was not able to score a single goal after making 22 shots.

In the last match against Grimsby, Manchesterunited was able to make 28 shots. And the team scored two goals. On the other hand, Grimsby players scored both goals with only 10 shots. This proves that although Manchester United players can create a lot of attacking opportunities, their finishing is quite weak.

On the other hand, I am annoyed by the performance of Manchester United's defense and goalkeeper. United should definitely strengthen their defense. It is impossible to perform consistently well in the Premier League with such a weak defense. Premier League teams are not weak.

I feel your pain bro, lots of my friends had the same issue. I have always not trusted Manchester united at all and I placed my bet on the two teams to score. I won it but was pained since it came to my mind to play it 1/x but I was afraid that one of them would end up winning at 90 minutes_{Not really Manchester United} . We all know better now that the red devils have lost their glory maybe temporarily even with the signings over the transfer window and anybody should know better than placing them to win next time. Amorim has only managed to secure 29 points in 29 games, what a dirty record for a top class manager. He really needs more time to restructure the tactical approach to games but I doubt Manchester united have so much time to give him. He probably thought England was Portugal, reality is both unfolding and disappointing him.

Seeing the goals conceded by Manchester United i think it's over for Onana, they are likely getting another goalie and Onana either way is being sold or left out.

This is the best for the club currently and sacking Amorim isn't a good idea, at least we can say they likely won't relegate with the kind of squad they have now which is better than last season own.
Seriously, I'm shot of words here and don't really know who or where to point fingers as regards the nonsense that's happening to Manchester United. Yes, Onana is something else but the two premier league games he didn't play, the club still didn't win any and he wasn't even in the lineup. So this is just beyond Onana been the problem. Just imagine, losing against a League two team, that's the height of this nonsense display from tis Manchester United side.

It's been a really bad team for about 3 or 4 years, especially if we look at its glorious past history.
I don't understand why they don't understand that something is wrong and that we need to cut and rebuild and not patch things up.
