Hey guys, I don't know about you, but it seems to me that the most important match for today in the PL is the one between Arsenal and Liverpool, for me a match that will set the tone, a match where we will see two titans, and if ARSENAL does something good here they will be able to maintain that consistency? let's remember that ARSENAL has always lost a PL since they are not consistent, suddenly they can win against Liverpool but lose against the team that is in last place (just an example) and they lose two more and then they win two and so on, but for me it will be a demonstration of power today.

This is just the match I have been waiting for since the start of today to watch and it's finally going to start in less than 30 minutes from now. For the team that will win, I really don't know as both teams are in form and have won both of their first two league matches. Arsenal is been hosted by Liverpool, a ground which the fans has made unique in its own way that any travelling team will find it difficult in the entire 90 minutes. I have no prediction for this game, I will just enjoy it.

This match is a match of the week by virtue of the two clubs playing and it has been a balanced match reminding us the equal strength of the club. At half time now none of the team has broken the deadlock with all the set pieces, which is consistent to their strong defensiveness with all that chances on goal. In their last match it was a draw with  4 goals scored and with what we watching from today's match both teams having the I can not lose attitude on the pitch I am short of belief for goals in the second 45 minutes.

However, with the way Arsenal performed in the first half, I’m expecting a good result from them in the second half. Because I’m expecting their games to be more competitive than the first half, Liverpool, on the other hand, is also trying, but upon that, I don’t think they can win this match.

Indeed it is a balanced game in the first half and I like the tempo of the game. When you are watching two title contenders playing you will know. Initially I was expecting goals in the first half but since both teams were unable to score, the game will likely end with just one goal from any side because with how they played in the first half there was no much attempts on the goalkeepers and the second half might probably go in same direction. From the current statistics of both teams, it is difficult to tell which of them will get the win, maybe they might also end the second half in a draw and I think a draw will still keep both teams in good position.

I'm surprised by Arsenal's dominance in the first half because I was thinking Liverpool would be a better side in this match since Saka and Odegaard aren't available for Arsenal to face Liverpool. Arsenal had a lot of good chances against Liverpool in the first half, but Arsenal attackers weren't clinical and they couldn't score a goal in the first half to give Arsenal the lead at Anfield. Are you saying Pep shouldn't have been appointed as manager of Manchester city? If we are talking about Manchester not doing well so far that's understandable, but saying the problem lies with Pep appointment as city manager is were I don't agree with you. The season is still starting and every team is going to lose match. It's quite unfortunate that city started losing at the early stages of the season. Am sure the manager will identify the problem of the team and he will address it.

The biggest match of the Premier League, Liverpool vs Arsenal, is very exciting, so far neither team has been able to score. Both teams are attacking a lot but neither team has been able to successfully stop the ball in the opponent's goal net, but the way both teams are attacking in the second half, they will be able to score very soon. Arsenal is currently trying to stop Liverpool's attack because Liverpool is currently attacking a lot. Of course, Liverpool will try their best to win the match, if Liverpool can win against Arsenal, it will be a great advantage for them. Manchester City loosing to Brighton after taking the lead in the first half is just some sort of surprise, I am wondering what is it Manchester City is upto because  to me they are not looking like they are really prepared this season, Brighton did had a very good play against Manchester City, do their victory is not one to be seen as some sort of luck, the mentality in city appears weakened, their force on the pitch was not showing any form of one from a team who wants to stay far ahead of their opponent, just some regular game around which I do not see that they should proceed in that mentality but to quickly fix it before it turns too late.

City lost another match, this time they were beaten by Brighton. Two defeats out of three games at the very start of the season is very bad, and if there is a winner in the Liverpool vs Arsenal match, it will already be a very serious handicap right at the beginning. What are your thoughts regarding Guardiola? Last season he was forgiven for many defeats, but now things could be different, since such a poor start might deprive them of the chance to fight for the league title.

In the future they will compete in the Manchester derby match again.
Manchester City's defeat should not be obtained, but Brighton did win with their hard work efforts.

My opinion about Guardiola don't do experiments too often by playing players whose flying hours are still minimal.
I mean this with the CB played is Khusanov. Dias is better in the position. Don't assume easily when fighting a team like Brighton so as to play yourself playing a player like that.
If the Liverpool vs Arsenal match does not end in a draw, the difference in points is hard to be pursued even though nothing is impossible.

What the players needs to realize, and what the staff needs to make sure they understand, is the fact that this game doesn't decide that. Psychologically, winning this game is of course great, and I understand how this could probably make them change their approach without a doubt.

However, if they can win, while that's great, if they lose, they need to understand league is very long and it's not some cup game where they go home if they lose. So they can still end up winning the league even if they lose this game.

Arsenal's performance in the first half was comparatively finer  than Liverpool's. I thought the players were quite confident. But in the second half they went back to their old strategy . They played defensively and we did not  see any strong attack from the team. The interesting thing is that Liverpool took the lead in the 83rd minute of the match through a goal by Liverpool defender Dominik Szoboszlai. And now Arsenal is trying to counterattack. But we probably won't see any more goals. Liverpool is going to win the match 1-0. Without a doubt, Liverpool is very lucky if they can win. Arsenal's strong defense was very difficult to break down.

Manchester City scored the first goal. I thought they would win this game, mainly because their opponent is not a title contender, but what I saw was terrible: Manchester City conceded two goals and lost the game.

In my opinion, the idea that the Manchester City manager is not signing the best and most expensive players is starting to cause problems because he now has a very weak squad that will not be able to compete with anyone. I don't see Manchester City becoming Premier League champions with this squad, nor do I see this Manchester City squad becoming European Champions League champions.

An unexpected result from the Citizens. I went to a bet shop over here and the way people were screaming, shouting and coursing on the Manchester City match, I just knew it has happened to them. Lots of them had picked City win and at the end it came out differently.
I think I agree with you, Pep is no more signing the very best players in their wings and it's beginning to affect him. I'm sure now that people who always thought Pep buys success will have more points to back up their claims.

I only watched the first half and part of the second half before I left the place I was watching the match. Arsenal really played well in the first half, I was looking and waiting for Liverpool players to make the game more interesting as Arsenal were mostly all over them but it didn't happen. Arsenal will have used that first half they were in control to score a goal or two but they failed to as Liverpool contained them very well. Not too long after I left, I started hearing shouts, I just knew that one team had scored, I checked it was Liverpool. This was a match I was expecting them to play draw since either team has refused to score a goal earlier on.

The frustration was there before they started leading and is like the players are truly not playing to instructions given by him because I see no reason why he would be uncomfortable each time Manchester United have a game, before 10-15 minutes you see him feeling like he's on a hot seat, what is really wrong with him? Even when his side scores you can never find him celebrate like every other coach does and that impression shows that he knows his team won't hold on to that lead for long and it will happen that the opposition side will equalize in no time, like this man knows he can't trust his players completely.
When Bruno was to take the kick Amorim was looking elsewhere, mehn...this man has lost the confidence of a true coach. I agree with you, with the machines they have winning with luck is something that's not suppose to be happening, and if you check is just few players that has that courage to keep on playing for the club without being frustrated on the field of play and Benjamin Šeško is one of the frustrated players, like he's not having the best of days at the club.

I understand Amorim is under intense pressure, yet, he's not encouraging his players by allowing fear overwhelm him in the pitch. True, he doesn't celebrate, that's not ok. My pity goes to Sesko, he was better off where he came from, coming to Man U this season may not favor his momentum. The coach is slowing him down, by benching him, it's lowering the striker's morale, why then did he purchase him if he knows he wouldn't be featuring him at the start of every game.

Whenever a coach celebrate he feels happy with what his players have done and it will motivate them to keep pushing and showing some abilities that no one expect from them ,like the hard work will continue to show but when Amorim choose to sit and watch it will look like the players are not trying their best, as far as I'm concern, Manchester United need all the support they can get to keep doing what they need to do because if Amorim continue like this I don't see them having too much to offer. As for the player Benjamin Šeško, it will be frustrating and he can't do anything other than to endure because he choose to be in this club but I know the time will come when he'd get his regular start up.

with the end of the match, liverpool pulled a big lead over arsenal, who are also in the title race. three points may seem simple at first glance, because there are still many matches ahead, but as the league draws to a close, every three points becomes crucial. additionally, with this victory, liverpool became the only team to win all three of their first premier league matches. they were roughly on par with arsenal in the title race, and now we can say they have taken the lead.

a note on szoboszlai's goal: it was one of the most important free kicks i've seen in terms of value recently.
