Sometimes I sit and ask myself: do most football managers take the time to watch other teams' games to stay up to date on the performance of other coaches in case they ever need to hire a coach? I confess that I tend to believe that the answer to my question is a big No. 

I say this because what I've seen in the world of professional football is not normal, and worse, coming from big leagues. How can you explain that a big team with a good coach, who fights for titles, hires a coach with few achievements? I'm talking about Inter Milan. Someone might think that this only happened in Italy, but no, it's happening in all leagues.

An example is the case of this news. The previous coach managed to make the team stable and strong, at least it was at the top of the table. The guy was fired and in his place they hired a coach who couldn't put Tottenham at the top of the table. I honestly can't understand what logic was used in the hiring of Postecoglou.

As for this season, it's just getting started and still very early to conclude the manager is their problem.

I don't understand how some club owners think some times because they made silly decisions when they're supposed to calm and very calm when they are supposed to make a decisive decision. Tottenham sacked their manager too just after he won a trophy with them and here Nottingham Forest sacked the coach that gave them hope. It's interesting and funny, Ange is coming to Nottingham Forest as reported and circulating in the media.

It seems to me that you are looking for logic in vain. In professional football, in hiring coaches, it simply cannot be mathematically. Roughly speaking, to find out what a coach is capable of, you have to give him a cycle, not a season, but a whole cycle - with the development of young players, with the purchase of players from other clubs and training them to suit your ideas. The very minimum is about 3 years. But no management will take such a risk - to lose a three-year period if the coach is unable to fulfill the tasks. Now everything is simple: a coach is hired (sometimes it doesn't matter which one) and his results are assessed over several months, if they are bad (even if he is not to blame) then the next one is hired. To some extent, this is the Monte Carlo method. Most clubs operate according to this scheme.

I don't think his performances was the reason for his sack. Probably because of some internal issues with the board because Forest are in the Europa league and he took them there.
Plus they've made additional signings to increase the quality of the squad.So I don't understand the board's decsion to sack him 3 games into the season.

Amorim has been able to tackle the problem of the attack though they still haven't done any significant thing in the game because the team is performing well up front but no goals to show for it but the defense line needs a serious work because the team can't be conceding cheap goals when they are still still finding it difficult to score even against weak opponents.

Manchester United are still in a shaky position. Although they have strengthened their attack a bit, their defence is very weak. The defenders have been inconsistent in their performances, and the goalkeeper has been poor. I would have been happy if Manchester United had been able to complete the deal with Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez. Martinez is one of the best goalkeepers of the moment. But Manchester United have spent 21 million on Senne Lemmens. There is no reason to think that Lemmens is a more experienced goalkeeper than Bayindir or Onana. Manchester United needed a talented and experienced goalkeeper. I would say that  buying  Lemmens is another bad decision for Manchester United this season.

Yeah I can agree with you on this. I also think Emiliano Martinez would have been a better choice as first choice goalkeeper for United because not will he make better saves, he will also command the defense around him with his leadership qualities, United missed a good player in Martinez.

This makes sense, as Nottingham Forest recently fired their manager due to a conflict with the club's owner and that gives Arsenal an advantage due to Nottingham Forest's still unstable situation.

Remember that Nuno Espirito took over the club when they were 17th in the Premier League. Nottingham Forest made it to the top four previous season but dropped back due to some losses at the end of the season. There was a rumour that the club's owner fired Nuno in order to bring in Ange Postecoglou, who was fired by Tottenham after winning the Europa League.

Perhaps it is true that Nuno Espirito played a key role in Nottingham Forest's success last season because we observed that he was able to bring this team back from relegation to seventh place last season. Yet he has only managed to lead the team in three matches in this new Premier League season but Nottingham Forest Football Club has already appointed a new coach and I think  they are considering him as Nuno Espirito's successor. Wow, that result is not enough to sack Nuno Espirito Santo, the club owner Marinakis Evangelos just tool a big risk that could backfire then if the next replacement doesn't do better, Espirito Santo is a good tactician, he made Nottingham Forest play beautiful football last season, they almost took them to play an European tournament, they were almost close to be in the top six.

 I'm just wondering who would be their next option, maybe they'll go for Ange Postecoglou, since he won Tottenham a trophy despite getting sacked, left for me I think Nuno would've still try to finish in the top six, I don't know what happened with the management, maybe they're not satisfied with the teams performance so far but it's still very early to make such decisions of sacking the coach.

Martinez is a very good and solid goalkeeper and most of us thought he was going to be transferred to Manchester United during the last days of the transfer window but we did not see that happen, best known to the Manchester United why they did not go for him. I have to admit, I love this about him. I prefer attacking football way more than the tactical style of, for example, the Italians.

It's not a rocket science that Pep Guardiola only has one patter of play and nothing else, so how exactly can he change? I remember when he was the coach of Barcelona, no doubt he was exceptionally good but the moment Mourinho caught him off guard with his Real Madrid team Pep left Barcelona the next season. The thing, once a manager in a match understands how to stop Pep that's it for him, he has no plan B to manoeuvre the match again to his favour and that's his problem. I'm not saying his not a great coach, but greater coaches always has plans B, so when a game is tough, they switch plans unlike Pep.

De Bruyne is indeed a great player who have contributed immensely to the success of Manchester City but lately, Manchester City have not been making much progress so it is only wise that make some changes in the team and De Bruyne have not also been giving much results, so looking for alternative is not entirely bad. He was sold to a team where he has a chance of remaining competitive, being the defending champions of Italian Serie A and will be playing in the UEFA champions league.

Your observations might be right dear, although other situations must have caused the disagreements between the coach and Evangelos but if he held grudges just cause of a poor performance in one match then he could've sacked the coach immediately after the end of the previous season than waiting till the beginning of a new season just to sack him after three matches.

 It's so humiliating for a coach that's on a good track, Nottingham's performance this season is not bad so far  and since the coach has already had pre-season trainings with his squad the owner would've allowed him continue his job, it could even be frustrating for Postecoglou the new manager in a case where the new players Nuno bought doesn't align with the quality of players he needs. Well, Nuno Espirito showed great potential so finding a new job won't be difficult.

I saw this and the news that accompanied it was that Barcelona is getting fed up with Rashford and how his not been what they expected from him. But my question is, if this is true about Barcelona wanting to return Rashford back to Manchester United, for isn't it too early for this from Barcelona? It's just been three matches played and he has even played enough for him to be judged. To me it's too early for this.

I'm not sure whether Nottingham made the right decision. However, I personally believe Nuno Espírito Santo is a good manager and deserves a longer opportunity at Nottingham. Especially after watching last season, which I thought was quite extraordinary for Nottingham, even though the team slipped at the end. However, last season, Nottingham was a tough team to beat from the start.
