And perhaps I wouldn't hold out too much hope for Nottingham Forest. Moreover, a change in manager means there will be new adjustments within the team, making their performance difficult to predict.

Meanwhile, Arsenal looks set to win. Although several key players are still injured and haven't fully recovered, the absence of these key players might slightly impact their performance. Still, Arsenal still has the upper hand in terms of squad depth. Furthermore, the team has several new players who appear quite reliable.

As you can see, even though Arsenal lost to Liverpool in their last match, overall, I see them improving this season, especially with the addition of a new striker, which has made up for their shortcomings from last season.

The match against Nottingham Forest shouldn't be a difficult one for Arsenal, and it's proof that Arsenal can bounce back despite losing their last match.

And for Nottingham Forest with their new manager this season, I haven't seen any significant improvement; quite the opposite.

No one says Arsenal is a bad team but they certainly have a bad records. If you are actually impressed by recent Arsenal performance, then you must be a newbie in this sport industry. For quite a few seasons back now, this is the way Arsenal normally starts their season with brilliance and dedication creating a fake hope in the mind of their fans and leave them in disappointment eventually. As we progress with the season, Arsenal performance will begin to diminish and consequently result in losing important points. If a good team is being determined by how a team starts their season, Arsenal will be second to none in that regards but it's the end that matters here and not the beginning.

Yes, winning the Premier League is important because they have secured a lot of money that is now available to buy new players as you say to defend the title, but you know nothing is certain, there is City who are strengthening the team and in my opinion they seem to be the most fearsome.

Manchester city has lost their strength, they are not longer the team we used to fear then, Its hard to get a point against Everton than Manchester city these days. The club is not a threat again, its just an average team like Manchester united, city will struggle for a while, they have sold their best midfielder Kelvin De Bruyne and the coach Pep Guardiola is have a family issues since last season which have affected their performance.

Liverpool is fans favorite to win the title, they have build a good squad over the year and in the transfer market they brought in good players that are already doing well, Liverpool is a team to beat to win the title, Chelsea is also a contender, Arsenal will try but they are not good enough to win it.

However, what was quite surprising about Ange's interview was his extraordinary confidence. But again, I don't think it will be that easy. It's just a statement to boost the club's morale. Hehe

It would be much more reasonable if the target was to at least qualify for the UCL or UEL.

Maybe his planning to play badly in the league and sending Nottingham Forest to the second half of the table while concentrating fully on the Europa league just as he did with Tottenham. But you can't get lucky twice just like that. The part were he talked about winning trophy for Nottingham Forest wasn't really necessary if you ask me.

The Pep Guardiola era is almost over, but the legendary coach still wants to prove that he will not fade away before he himself decides to retire as a soccer coach. And this season will prove whether the torch will continue to burn or slowly fade away.

Looking at Manchester City at the moment, they are still the strongest team, even though they have not been able to show consistency in winning at the start of this season, losing points too quickly in a season that has only been running for three weeks. At the moment, Erling Haaland is back at the top of his game, performing better than last season, and he looks set to continue scoring goals this season.

Despite making several changes and bringing in a number of needed players, Pep Guardiola has not been able to fully perform at his best. Several positions remain weak so far, leading to two consecutive defeats for Man City. Perhaps more crucially, the midfield has not been able to maintain the rhythm of play that Pep Guardiola hopes for. This shows how difficult it has been for Pep Guardiola this season, and their chances of competing with Liverpool and Arsenal have become slightly more difficult.

The next match will be against Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium. Although Man United's performance has been inconsistent, Pep Guardiola needs to be wary of them, as their current momentum is slightly better than Man City's. This is a rivalry, and although Man City will give their best, Pep Guardiola also needs to be wary of Man United's threat.

You see when it comes to winning the premier league title, if you’re still unable to win a match against your toughest opponents or rivals, especially at the beginning of the season like this, then I don’t think you’re ready to win the premier league title yet. Even if you can’t win, at least you should manage to get a point against them. Arsenal have been trailing as first runners up in the premier league for over three seasons now, and I believe by now they should have been able to identify where there problem is coming from and tackle it, even though Liverpool scored from a set piece, Arsenal should have been able to score a goal before that time to at least settle for a draw match and with such results they have a better chance of not letting their title rivals run away with 3 points, at least the gap will still be closer , because currently with the way the premier league is going now, if Arsenal or any team wants to win the premier league then such team must be ready to play the whole season unbeaten, the premier league this season looks tough because almost all the other big teams have really strengthened their squad and not only Arsenal. At this point in time these big clubs are also hungry to win the title because most of them including Chelsea have not won it for a long time now and you must not allow yourself to be defeated by your toughest rivals because it’s going to be an advantage for them, instead you should hold them to a draw match. This season we’ve seen improvements from this big teams not only Arsenal, we’ve also seen Chelsea getting improved, it’s not just all about improvement, it’s about winning and If Arsenal can beat Liverpool and the other title rivals home and away or get a point against them, only then they are ready to win the league.

Arsenal has always been doing well for over 4-5 seasons now and they have also been topping to some extent but their problem is that they are not consistent and they don't have the winning mindset because why would someone top league for some seasons now but later end up not winning, it is really crazy and not encouraging at all. People where saying they don't have a good striker but now they have good strikers and I'm waiting to see what people will complain about this time if they didn't win the league this season.

It's not easy to get good replacement of key players sometimes when they depart a club, since some playmakers like Debruyne left it's quite tough for Manchester City cause they're finding it difficult lately and the new signing are not really helping, coupled with the heavy injury crisis that's hit the team, these are tough times for Manchester City.

 When you look at the number of players that are injured you'll have no option but think that this could be Pep's worst season, I wonder how they'll come out of this situation, even though they managed to perform well in the derby match ahead, how long can they cope against other teams ahead, Pep is really in a messy situation.

This match will undoubtedly be very competitive. We have seen the performance of both teams being quite erratic. Whatever, I am very disappointed with the performance of City in the last two  matches. Manchester city lost against Tottenham and Brighton. Still , we saw Manchester united's dominance throughout the match. If Manchester United's defense can play well against City, then I would say that United will win this match. Manchester United will be better defensively than Manchester City. Especially if Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez can play well in defense, it will be very difficult for City to win this match. United's biggest concern is their attack and goalkeeping. Maybe we will not see any goals in the match or there will be very few goals, 1 or 2. But there is no doubt that the match will be exciting.

Manchester United football team will play next match against Manchester City football team and that match will be interesting because both teams have high quality players who can do well in a tough time when there is pressure in the match. Manchester United team has upper position on the table because they they have four points on the table and that they played 3 matches from which they won 1 match and 1 match was ended with draw result. Manchester City football team could win only 1 match and that team lost 2 matches which is very bad performance by that team . Many players of both teams are injured and we will see high competition between these two teams.The head to head performance of both teams is similar because they played 5 matches and 2 ,2 matches won by both teams and 1 match was draw .

Are Arsenal in very good form I don't think so. Arsenal won 5 - 0 against Leeds United. Anyway, we have seen that Arsenal's performance against Manchester City and Manchester fnited was quite slow. I still wondering why Amorim take the risk by loaned Onana to other club because although Onana did plenty of blunder but compared to the current goalkeeper of Manchester United i think Onana is much better especially we all know too their second goalkeeper Altay Bayindir too still unable to playing consistent and we know Manchester United has Senne Lammens but playing him too is very risky because Senne Lammens still lack of experience

They can do it better and they even did not satisfy with what they did in three latest seasons with a runner up position. It's already three consecutive seasons and Arsenal want to change it from a second position to a championship in this season. A direct defeat by Liverpool weeks ago actually harms their ambitious target but they will not give up too early.

This season will be more difficulty for Arsenal than a last season with massive money spent for squad improvements in Liverpool and Chelsea are ready to compete for a title too. Arsenal will have to compete with two or even more competitors in this season than only with Liverpool last season while there is no clear signal that they improved themselves considerably in the summer preseason training and friendly matches.

Let's summarize, their total spending in the transfer season is around £402 million (not valid data and could be much higher) with that big money they didn't get many players, (writz, ekitike and isak) maybe there are still some, I forgot. It's clear from here that what Liverpool did, they wanted an ambitious target this season by focusing more on the UCL competition while defending the Premier title, for the results it can't be guaranteed but with Arne's performance last season I'm quite confident. And luckily they got an income of around £200 million so their finances are still stable in my opinion.

They failed to do the same thing on other positions, and they scouts unknown players instead of proven stars.

I'm also in agreement with the opinion that, Manchester City didn't get their transfer window right. They let some players leave but failed to replace them with the perfect players for that position. Ederson and Kevin De Bruyne are good examples of what I'm saying. These quality players left and how did they replace them? With players who are obviously not upgrades to them. Also that of explosive fullbacks like Kyle Walker and Co.

Previously, Alvarez's departure was also regrettable but his replacement has not proven anything It's just that the coach has a different view of the players he recruits.
Could the departure of Ederson and De Bruyne be due to age? The coach or club management may not like older players they only want young and talented players but that is still not optimal in terms of recruitment.

Arsenal finally conceded their 1st goal of the season against Liverpool in their previous match and the loss of that match will surely put a dent in their chase for the English Premier League trophy. PSG got no results?  Since they became an oil club they have dominated Ligue 1, gone very far in the Champions League (except for the seasons when Messi was there) plus won the Champions League once. The investments definitely gave results. In general, if you look at clubs that are stable, it is difficult to find one where sporting achievements were not based on finances. The times of miracles ended a long time ago. Liverpool understand this and are trying to keep up with the other top teams.

Burnley do not have the manpower sufficient to bar Liverpool from getting all 3 points in that match. And knowing that Isak will be debuting in that match kills Burnley's hope of any survival.

Burnley is just a promoted team regardless that they were just out of the Premier League for 3 seasons before they returned which means they still have some premier league experience but when Tottenham defeated them in the first game i just felt that the team didn't change much despite that they won their second game against Sunderland but that was literally because Sunderland was also promoted to the premier league and Burnley got more tactics than them, then for their match against Manchester United we know that United is still battling to prove themselves this season which was why Burley could score 2 goals against them but coming to Liverpool, the strength is unmatched and since Liverpool wants to continue their last season legacy they will win Burnley and remain at the top of the league table. Isak is now available to play for Liverpool, even if he doesn't score but we will be expecting some impact from his end.

Burnley is a regular unmatched club for Tottenham, it was same Tottenham that defeated them in the last match that resulted to their relegation and on returning to the top flight again Tottenham still humbled them, therefore with Liverpool squad quality, it is a walk in the park match for Liverpool. I term it as another free  3 points for the Reds in strengthening their quest to successively win the premier league.

Of all the matches slated for the weekend the Manchester's derby is the most anticipated match  that we all can not wait to watch.. City losing this match to Manchester United will be a nightmare for Pep Guardiola. My projection is a draw cause either club's players are just arriving from the international break and it will have a  thorn on them with all the tension.

Manchester United's derby will sure be a very serious game and from how am analyzing that match, Manchester United might win because from their performance they even look better than Manchester city because at least they managed to get 4 points in 3 matches while Manchester City could only win their first game and lost the other two matches and teams they lost to where teams we never expected which are Tottenham and Brighton so am having this feeling that Manchester United will win, after all whenever both teams meets it always turnout to be a tough match.

I discussed with a Manchester city fan about their derby with Manchester united and from all he said he is not confidence in his club city going into this match with United. Quite a few analysis he made in the 3 games City played and the outcomes before going to the int'l break in contrast to that of United, with the injuries suffocating city squad, he felt United has a big prospect to win. Whereas, my prediction still on a draw.
