Burnley is preparing to meet Liverpool for the first time in this season, to know if they can be the first team to defeat Liverpool in this new season, Liverpool have won all their matches in this premier League which is a big concern to many teams that signed new players in this summer,  Tottenham defeated Burnley 3-0, Manchester United defeated Burnley 3-2 to achieved three points and if Liverpool fail to defeat Burnley today, it will create more confidence for many teams to stand on their ground to challenge Liverpool in their next matches to reduce their points too, this match will end for the favour of Liverpool 3-1 to defeat Burnley which is my prediction toward this match.

Ridiculous, I really don't understand why Maresca chose to bench their main players. Was it because he underestimated Brentford? Chelsea had already conceded a goal in the first half. And finally, Cole Palmer was only brought on in the 56th minute, and in the 61st minute he scored. It's a shame that Maresca's starting eleven this time, wasting a great opportunity when the competition in the EPL is very tight, they should have been much more prepared for whoever they faced.

There are several reasons why coaches decides to bench certain players in certain matches, they look at upcoming matches and the intensity that will be involved in those games and decide wether to play them or not. Fatigue or injury could be a solid reason why a coach may decide to bench some players to avoid an avoidable risk to such a player and keeping them fresh for the next game. It wasn't that he underestimated Brentford but for the fact that he needs some of them fresh in the match against Bayern Munich. My opinion though.

looking at the Chelsea game against Brentford last night one can sense that the coach is obviously prioritizing their champions league match against Bayern Munich this Wednesday.

Is that what the coach told you or you are just making that up? Don't you think that the champions league is too early to start prioritising which more important? If the coach was prioritising the champions league why then did he bring in those benched players when they were losing? Maresca underrated Brentford and he saw what he didn't expect. He is lucky he didn't lose that match yesterday it would have been detrimental to his title bid.

It is not the right reason to say that Chelsea is now focusing on the Champions League competition, but indeed Maresca made a lot of player rotations in this match as if underestimating Brentford, clearly it was a big mistake that was very detrimental to Chelsea regardless of Maresca's reasons, but I think that this should be a lesson for Maresca to always do their best in other Premier League matches and they must be able to maintain consistency if they really want to compete for the title.

When Chelsea finished last season with a good result in the Club World Cup, I thought that Chelsea would plan differently next season and they would build a good team to do something good next season. Chelsea never skimp on spending money, they only want to increase the strength of their team and they are always ready to spend a lot of money to increase the strength of the team. This season, Chelsea has created a young team and there is a good relationship between the players, as a result of which we see a lot of organized football on the field.
If their current performance continues, I believe that we will definitely see Chelsea among the top four teams in the Champions League at the end of the season.

If Liverpool beats Burnley today, they will be able to top the table and lead all the teams. I think they are capable of doing this, especially after signing so many excellent players, I believe they should be clearly stronger than everyone else. Chelsea played well; they just conceded first and started the match a bit uncertainly, or maybe Burnley simply didn’t allow them to do much. It’s frustrating to lose a victory in the final minutes, but Burnley definitely didn’t deserve to lose yesterday.

Tottenham is one team to watch out for this season cause they took lots of bold steps in building their team and hiring a potential coach, I began to see potential in them after their performance against PSG in the Super Cup, they almost won another major trophy this season with their new coach but had a near miss, however I think their performance wasn't that bad.

 I knew the departure of Son wouldn't really affect them since they bought several good players to strengthen the team, Kudus is an experienced premier league player before they signed him and I was pretty sure that he'll do well in Tottenham under this new coach, anyways their performance against Westham was very impressive.

Of course it was surprising for Chelsea fans who supported him, who at the start of the match Chelsea dominated Brentford but managed to equalize 2-2 and in that way Brentford provided an extraordinary surprise in this match with the tenacity they carried out even though the result was a draw which was certainly something that was considered encouraging for their team.

Argh, I'm so annoyed with Brentford today. They scored a last-minute goal that completely ruined my bet. Seriously, I still can't believe Chelsea couldn't handle that long throw, and they were also careless enough to let Fabio Carvalho get past their tight marking.

That's clearly offside, but VAR has no intention to check it even during the last minutes. It seems to me Chelsea is getting the revenge by VAR from what they get against Fulham.

It's clearly from the picture ball was coming from Ajer's header, not from the throw in. I also feel disappointed with how lazy Garnacho was not even marking Carvalho. It might not be a goal if he carefully marked him, then kicking the ball out.

It’s half time now after 45 minutes and the game between Burnley and Liverpool is still goalless, with Liverpool registering 10 shots out of which only 1 is on target while Burnley have 2 shots with 0 on target. Liverpool dominated major part of the game with  78% possessions compared to Burnley’s 28. I’m quite surprised to see that Liverpool with the array of stars and players they bought with huge amounts they are still struggling to score a goal after the first 45 minutes against a team as low as Burnley. Well, let’s watch and see what the second half has in store.
