It's half time and it's nil-nil. It was hard fought first half for Burnley who has ruined all efforts from Liverpool to find the back of their net. Burnley showing a lot of confidence since they're the host. Liverpool is in control of the game though and this wouldn't end in a draw just like the Brentford Vs Chelsea game that ended in a draw.  Liverpool have been quite outstanding with their results this season, I think with a few changes they can find a favourable result as they return to the next half of the game.

It's hard to score a goal because Burnley playing with a full defensive strategy, Liverpool's strikers not able to enter Burnley's box, so they choose to shot outside the box, unfortunately many of the shots are off target.

However, Liverpool got a nice reward for penalty in injury times, it was a tough match, Burnley don't even care to win at all.

Liverpool always find a way to win, and today's match against Burnley was no exception. Luckily Liverpool maintain their 100% start to the 25/26 season. Burnley played a solid defensive game for nearly 90 minutes, almost forcing a draw, but Liverpool again finds a way to win. Luck favours always the champions when times are bad.

We considered Chelsea to be one of the most worthy contenders for the title. But the team lost points in 2 out of 4 matches. And naturally, Chelsea has fallen behind in the title race.

Chelsea drew 0-0 against Crystal Palace in the first match of the season. Even after that, they won against West Ham and Fulham, but today they lost points again in the away match against Brentford. After the international break, we do not see Chelsea performing well.

Chelsea players had 66% of the ball possession. And they were able to make a total of 16 shots. However, we did not get a good performance from the defenders. Especially in the last moment of the match, Chelsea conceded a goal after 90 minutes. And in the end, the match ended 2-2.

Liverpool were fortunate enough to win the match in the final minutes. Salah saved his team from a draw with a penalty. While it was unfortunate that they couldn't score more goals against Burnley despite their numerous shots, they were able to win the match in the end.

And just then, Foden scored for Manchester City, making the score 1-0. Manchester City appeared to be playing the better game in this match, constantly pressuring Manchester United's defense... with that City could very well win this match.

Despite the current form of the two Manchester clubs, the Manchester derby will be entertaining this season because of the rivalry between the two Manchester clubs, and both Manchester clubs want to win the derby so that they can make their fans proud. Just the Manchester City needs the three points to get back on track, that is how Manchester United also needs the three points to get back on track. You can now agree with me that the Manchester derby will be entertaining despite the poor performance of the Manchester clubs this season.

As much as I want to gree to what you just pointed out, am expecting anything thing different from what should be the performance of two teams that are not in their right peak, both teams have not step up for now so I won't be expecting any of them to be playing more than the other team, we know that both teams need the 3points but because of their state of performance, it is not certain that any of them can win this match though this is my opinion, I don't know if it will be entertaining as you think it will be, however, non of the 2teams will allow each other to get easy ride in the game.

Liverpool can't continue playing like this obviously, they keep leaving the game late before getting the win and I will say that they were very lucky today because the penalty rescued them from a draw, it would be strange if they continue playing like this and not drop points.
Also I see some concerns with Sallah this season he has obviously been playing beyond his abilities and I think he is not putting enough efforts into his games this season.

Mate, beating the parking bus team is not as easy as you said. There must be someone who have a lot of creativity to help them and this is what mcallister for. However, sadly he gets serious tackle and out of the pitch after 17 minutes of games. You know how they tried so hard to break Burnley's defense, and as you said lucky enough by getting a pen.
If Lesley was not getting a red card, i doubt Burnley would make a mistake like that. I also think this win is a pure luck for them.

As for Salah, he always playing every minute since last season. I guess he has lost his fire. Slot needs to drop him if it's needed to bring back his fire again. Just stop to rely on him. He's getting aged and starting to be inconsistent.

It's already the 79th minute and Liverpool still haven't scored against Burnley... just what happened to Liverpool, they had far more possession and so many chances, but none of them could be converted into goals.
If this continues, maybe this match will end in a draw and that would be a very bad thing for Liverpool because they were held to a draw by a team like Burnley who are far below them.

Lucky Liverpool, they almost made it possible for both teams to walk away with a draw if not for that late penalty that was conceded and it was converted by the Egyptian, that will have been a draw. Lot's of possessions and corners taken but ended up with only one goal at the end of 90 minutes, the good thing is that a win is a win and they got the all important three points which has taken them again to the top of the table.

The traditional draw Chelsea used to play against Brentford repeated itself yesterday. Maresca needs to take every match serious, he shouldn’t be reshuffling his squad every game just because he have a champions league match against Bayern Munich because a draw against Bayern will be better for the team than this draw.

Liverpool, the only team with 100% win till date continued their winning streak with a late injury time penalty goal against Burnely. It seems like the luck is favoring Liverpool again as they were in verge of a draw but a 95th minute unintentional handball gave them a penalty that they converted to goal.

A very good record for Liverpool so far, but is this performance good for them in the beginning of the season when all their players are fit?
I think they need to step up, these narrow wins will not lead them to the title like this because there will be some matches that the luck will not shine on them.

I am not happy with the way Manchester United is playing in this match, they didn’t play well they same way the played against Arsenal, they need to step up to win or get a draw in this match.

The Manchester derby isn't playing to the hype it had received throughout the international break, the game isn't as interesting and thrilling as we had expected like the way the Manchester derby has been. Foden goal in the 18th minutes has being what has made the difference so far in this fixtures. No much creativity as much as am concerned.

After the international break, we thought Liverpool would win the first match by a big margin. But getting 3 points in today's match was a big challenge for liverpool. And it can not be denied that Liverpool was very lucky that they won the match. The only goal of the match was scored in the 90+5 minute  and that too from a penalty. I will not say that Liverpool played badly. Whatever, Liverpool's finishing was a bit weak and Burnley's defenders played great. A total of 27 shots were taken by Liverpool players in this match. Even then, the team could not score any goal in 90 minutes. Anyway , Liverpool did not lose a point, which is a good result for them.

Liverpool are now three points ahead of the other teams in the second and third position, that bright of the game is that they didn't lose a point just like you said but their game play wasnt really impressive. I was expecting them to score multiple goals, that one goal was just out of luck, and also the fact that burnley got a red card probably slowed them down, I'm sure they would have been more defensive against Liverpool

I'm also disappointed with Liverpool not scoring an early goal against Burnley because they made my friend who would have won big money to cash out his bet with the fear that the Burnley vs Liverpool game would end in a draw match. Liverpool was lucky to have a penalty in the last minute of the game, and Mohammed Salah made no mistake but to bury the ball in the back of the new, which helped Liverpool defeat Burnley and maintain their number one spot on the Premier League table.

I wanted to enjoy  a fiercely competitive derby. But the match did not seem to be that competitive. Both teams are playing defensively. In  50 minutes , Manchester city had only  4 shots and Manchester united had only 1 shot.
In the 18 th minute of the match, Phil Foden scored a marvelous  goal from a pass from DOku. Manchester City is leading 1- 0. Manchester United should have increased the pace of attack to make a comeback in the match. But United's players' attack is quite slow. I don't know why United are performing like this even though they have players like Sesko and Mbeumo in the attack. They will not be able to get points if they play like this, that's for sure

Is it not too early to start assuming that games are rigged just because we have a late winner from Liverpool?  It looks like something that's unreal but the reality is that when you're playing a bigger team, just get ready for every and anything till the referee blows the last whistle of the game.

It looks unreal, and it doesn't matter if it's too early to make assumptions; that's exactly what it looked like. Am I being too delusional about the game? No, unless you didn't watch through till the end.

Regardless of the three point that Liverpool has secured that has still placed them top, this is a bad game to be honest because they could have given out this two pint so cheaply.

That's exactly my point. I'd be unfazed if they rather scored right through from the first half, or immediately after the second period begun. Let's say, like a volley from few meters away; 2,3 or more goals would still feel like a normal game as well.

The Burnley vs. Liverpool match has entered the 20th minute. However, I'm quite surprised that Liverpool haven't been able to mount a significant attack that threatens Burnley's goal. I really hoped Liverpool would score early in this match. But it seems Burnley are doing their best to avoid defeat and perhaps they're hoping to hold Liverpool to a draw.

I also find the Manchester City vs. Manchester United match very difficult to predict. Therefore, I wouldn't dare bet on or favor one team. When these two teams meet, the results are often surprising. For example, when Manchester City is in peak form, they sometimes lose to a Manchester United team that's in poor form. And sometimes vice versa.

It’s half time now after 45 minutes and the game between Burnley and Liverpool is still goalless, with Liverpool registering 10 shots out of which only 1 is on target while Burnley have 2 shots with 0 on target. Liverpool dominated major part of the game with  78% possessions compared to Burnley’s 28. I’m quite surprised to see that Liverpool with the array of stars and players they bought with huge amounts they are still struggling to score a goal after the first 45 minutes against a team as low as Burnley. Well, let’s watch and see what the second half has in store.

Although Liverpool ultimately won 0-1, the match still seemed quite surprising to me. Liverpool's only goal came from a penalty kick. Without it, the score might still have been 0-0. Burnley, we must say, was quite successful in creating a defense that was difficult for even a strong team like Liverpool to penetrate. Even when Burnley was down to 10 men from the 84th minute, Liverpool still struggled.

In the current match, Manchester City vs. Manchester United, everything seemed clear from the first half, with Manchester City dominating the attack from the outset. And now the score is already 2-0 in Manchester City's favor. Victory is indeed within reach.

Agree, this is a boring match. This is Manchester United's away match. That's why we don't want to see such a defensive gameplay in such an exciting match. Manchester united players have only had 1 shot in 60 minutes. How will they score a goal if they play like this?

Manchester city was a bit off form. The team could not do well in the opening matches of this Premier League. Manchester United had a big chance to put city under more pressure. But Manchester United completely failed. And I would say they failed because of their defensive gameplay.

Manchester city went ahead 2 -0. The first goal was scored by Foden  and the second goal was scored by Haaland. We saw both assists from Jeremy Doku. The match is most likely to end in 2-0

I'm very sure Liverpool will win Burnley today because Liverpool is more informed than them and I'm not sure that Liverpool is ready to drop point or to leave the top table in the premier league, however if Liverpool does not take charge very well they may end up drawing the match with Burnley just the way just he did yesterday, since is Burnley home I'm very sure they will do everything possible to make sure that they hold Liverpool down, well let's just watch and see how end result of the match, good luck to both teams.

As for Manchester United and Manchester City the match will be a very tough one for them and I really can't predict who will win the match because the two teams are equal in form, however since is Manchester city home they may win Manchester United but even Manchester United may also want to win them so let's also watch to see the end result, good luck to both teams also.

Liverpool didn't make the kind of impact I expected from them in this very match, they played well and better than Burnley which was expected but almost played draw in the process until the penalty came to the rescue. Sometimes game are like that sha, as usual they disappointed fans must have erupted after the goal because they waited for that for long.

Manchester United on the other hand is receiving it from Manchester City and from the look of things, Manchester City has many injured players of which Manchester United should have taken advantage of but they are not doing that. Doku is really having a great game as he has provided two assists for his side already.
