The way Liverpool are playing currently is not encouraging because I don't expect such to happen especially when they are playing against bottom team. This is a big surprise to me, it actually bad to see current champion struggling to survived, what if they come in contact with a top team this shows that they will definitely lose the match. At this moment if they find it difficult to win until a penalty and again at the extra time. They should actually do something because the season is getting started

As for Manchester United, I read this morning that Amorim's position is not in any threat, this means that he have the full backing of the management. I equally support the management in this by putting more hope in him. I still have confidence in him despite his defeat against Manchester City.

I’m eager to hear what you guys think about Onana’s performance yesterday’s game. I didn’t watch the full game, I only watched the highlights on YouTube and I saw Onana made some interesting saves but I can’t speak on his overall performance in the game. I want to know if Manchester United was the problem or is Onana just a bad goalie.

From the player rating it indicates he performed very well, I would say one thing, if every goal keeper have a very good defense they would perform very well, I think that was what Onana was lacking at Manchester United. At his former team Manchester United Onana is bound to face at least over 5 shot per match which is very bad. If we could all recall, at inter Milan he had very little to do, the inter defense where doing a very good job at the back.

Yeah, there are some stages where we don't need to put all the blame on the goalkeeper. which is what a lot were saying. When Onana was still in the Manchester United club, sometimes the lack of defense was also contributing to the goalkeeper's poor performance, and that's what we don't understand. But now that Onana is no more in Manchester United again, they know that not only the goalkeeper is their problem; the entire team has their own problem too.

Because if we observe their recent matches, it proves that the team lacks defense, and if a team lacks defense, they will not see the goalkeeper's efforts, and that has been the problem of Manchester United for several seasons now, as we can see even with their new goalkeeper, there still facing the same challenges.

Manchester United have ruined most potentials than we could possibly think of. For how long will this continue? To be pouring blames on the goalkeepers and putting them under substantial pressure? It's fine for a team goalie to make blunders afterall the players do make such while either in position to score goal or provide crucial assist on the pitch. Andre Onana was under more pressure than anyone else in the team and that made me completely lost his confidence and couldn't make good use of opportunities when was offered one.

Manchester United still likes to keep their coach, regardless of the results. And the club is very tolerant of various tactical failures implemented by their coach.

I’ve watched every Liverpool game this season — they’re winning, but not because they’re the better team. It’s mostly because luck is on their side (a late goal against Newcastle, a wonder goal against Arsenal, a silly penalty against Burnley).

They’ve had a lot of luck, but sooner or later, luck runs out. Then we’ll see if they have the quality to make up for it.

Winning goals that just scored before the end of the match are often considered to be just luck, and it seems Liverpool have that luck because it's not the only time they've experienced it, but it would be unfair to think it was just pure luck because Liverpool really tried hard to get those goals and I think Liverpool achieved that dramatic victory because they also possessed a winning mentality. Teams with a winning mentality usually have good composure, so they can get out of difficult situations they face.

Burnley were playing a very defensive game against Liverpool, lately it seems thats their game play, they don't focus on winning but they just hold the match to a draw. If not for dying minute luck that game would have ended as a goaless draw..i was expecting a lot of goals from Liverpool but unfortunately that's not the outcome that i got on the bet that I placed...But like you said, they have a winning mentality and that's good

The red card to Burnley player was what made the game less difficult for Liverpool, upon intensive pressure led to the penalty, else the game was tending towards a deadlock.

Liverpool can never be underestimated. However, I personally am still unsure whether Liverpool can be considered lucky or not. Like in the match against Burnley, I actually saw Liverpool as unlucky. They kept controlling the ball but couldn't really create many meaningful attacks. That's not like them. However, their victory does show that Liverpool were still lucky. But the victory was a fair result. In fact, Liverpool should have scored more goals.

Liverpool still has weaknesses at the back this season. And these weaknesses weren't really visible last season. I hope Arne Slot really addresses them soon, because if Liverpool face another strong team, I worry about their defense.

Your statement cannot be arguable because it is quite clear that Liverpool are winning but in a narrow escape which is not proper for a team like this. I think it is high time they put things into consideration regarding their performance these days, Arne Slot is a good, so I don't expect such performance I'm seeing or is this mistaken coming from the players they sold, and if that is the case but the replacement which everyone was so happy that they made a very good decision in signing those players.

I agree with this 100%. Initially, I thought Leeds were going to be the one but I've not seen enough from them just yet. They've got the squad of young players that can deliver against big teams too.

Last season, Arne Slot simply continued what Klopp had built. So, in the transfer window last season, Liverpool wasn't even active in buying players. And last season, Arne Slot actually succeeded in continuing what Klopp had built quite well and even improved it.

And yes, this season seems to be like Arne Slot's first season, with several changes in squad depth in line with his coaching style. However, I believe the weaknesses that emerged in the back line are indeed a result of the players they let go to Real Madrid. And I don't think Liverpool have found players who are on par with the players they let go. And that's not good at all unless Arne Slot can overcome it again.

It's too long and very bad in terms of performance over the past two years. It would not be a wise decision for management to keep Amorin, who has not been performing optimally in managing his team. I was really disappointed with what they played against Manchester City, I was really expecting better from them, but I just realized that Manchester United has not changed from the previous season and they are still a shit team.
The most annoying thing is that Manchester City were not even at their best and they still beat Manchester United 3-0. In my opinion Manchester City did not have an outstanding performance aside from Haaland that scored 2 goals, no other player was outstanding. This only get to show you how bad Manchester United played. At this point I don't even know the issue with Manchester United anymore,  they have spend a lot of money and still not doing well. Congratulations to Manchester City.

If Liverpool continue to display the same difficulties as they did against Burnley, it will be a major problem for the team. Moreover, Liverpool will also be playing in the Champions League, where the majority of their opponents are strong teams. This makes me less optimistic about Liverpool's Champions League campaign. But I won't jump to conclusions either. Arne Slot certainly knows what to do. And I'm confident Liverpool will remain a tough team to beat.

Manchester United under Amorim doesn't seem to be doing well. While it would be great if he were given continued trust and time to improve the team, if Amorim continues to fail to revive Manchester United, it would be devastating news for the team. It's been too long since Manchester United have recovered.

This statement by Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim has clearly shows that he has selected who will be the team number 1 goalkeeper.
The Turkish goalkeeper Altay  Bayindir seems to be Ruben Amorim favorite, he will be at the goal post during the Manchester derby this week, let's hope that Manchester United has gotten new David de Gea.

Why does everyone affiliated to Manchester United keep making it seem like the goalkeeper has been the problem of the team while obviously the team is weak in other areas as well. How do you expect the goalkeepers to be at their best when the defense is weak and shaky and the midfield is also not strong enough, you don’t play like trash and expect the goalkeeper to be doing miracles between the sticks man it’s impossible. United should just sack Amorim and find a better coach, there are managers who will be getting good results even with this current United team.

The goalkeeper is not the major problem of Manchester United but let's not deny that Altay Bayindir is not the perfect choice to lead the goal post for Manchester United, you can't compare him with the goalkeepers of other big teams in the EPL infact he can't be categorized under the top ten keepers in EPL so I wonder why he'll be a team like Manchester United's first choice for that position.

 Although Amorim's formation needs to be questioned, it's not really working and it exposes the keeper a lot, such formation would require keepers that are very confident in themselves like Raya or Becker not someone like Bayindir. Amorim should consider the back four system for once and see how it goes.

4 team favorites, only Chelsea was a bit disappointing. Chelsea need to improve their defense and stay on top of the game, as the first goal conceded was clearly the fault of a Chelsea defender who advanced too far into the middle of the pitch. This was a ridiculous mistake and led to a draw. Chelsea attack is still quite good, but Enzo Maresca definitely needs to evaluate his defenders and be more careful.

Now the Chelsea bookmakers' odds have dropped again because of this. I think they were almost level with City at one point.

With how the Gunners started today's game I saw something different which I never saw from them this season, a good thing for them to use every style they know would work for them and not to only rely on set pieces. Now we could see that  pattern the Gunners came with which is different from how they played against Liverpool and we can't expect Ange Postecoglou to get his first win against Arsenal, no it can't happen with how productive the Gunners was, the method would help them progress and the bench is as strong as the guys on the pitch.
Viktor Gyökeres goal will motivate him to continue scoring and I believe he has gotten used to the way they play, now I'm expecting to see him get an away goal which he hasn't gotten since joining the Gunners.

Arsenal has always played attacking football and it surprises me seeing comments online saying that Arsenal don’t play attacking football rather tossing the ball around and hope for set pieces to score goals. Against Manchester United and Liverpool Arteta opted for a more conservative approach to those games which actually worked out well. If not for the free kick against Liverpool which was top class Arsenal would have left Anfield with a draw which everyone would have praised the tactics used but unfortunately we lost.

As for Gyokeres, more goals will come, he is adapting well to the team so expect more.

Chelsea lost this match due to Enzo Maresca's unnecessary mistakes. What the hell was he thinking starting the match with weaker players and bringing in this that should've started the match to salvage the situation?

He had the same match with V.Kompany of Bayern who smartly brought his best players to play the first half and removed them when they've done their job leading by 4 goals. ASAP I saw that lineups, it was obvious to me that Chelsea didn't come to win today. Very very sad outcome.

Champion's League effect mate… and they are the one doing the travelling, so you can't really blame the coach. He was trying to be conservative, but I guess that didn't give him the result they wanted in the end. They almost had the 3 points.

Chelsea just need to be a little more consistent throughout the season. I think they will do well with the quality of players they have

There's a better way to be conservative and that entails going all out in the beginning and resting the important players when the job is done. For me he ended up stressing the players more by bringing them in to fight to save the situation when it's already messy. It's just too early for that gamble that I perceived in that match.

Manchester United continues their bad performance amid all quality players present in their squad. I'm that match against Manchester City, although it was asking too much of them to win that match but at least they should've married the margin. Amorim's pattern cages B. Fernandez. I think he should play Casemiro often so he can free Bruno to play freely as he wants to get more good results.

Honestly, I never saw a three Nil defeat happening no matter how unorganized Manchester united have been. When you're playing a Manchester derby that's supposed to be one tough game to talk on, it's rare before you see this kind of result but this is the reality we've come to see with modern football, there's nothing like a team that's supposed to play well, if you don't take your chances, you certainly will get punished for it. They failed to take there chances and the rest is just history.

As it stands, we don't know what to expect from Manchester united any longer. Will they continue putting up this kind of performance and expect to end well by the end of the season when other teams are already getting point and going ahead of them? The blame game on the coach, players and keeper does not changed the fact that everyone in the team needs to sit up or else, the relegation we are all seeing as impossible will one day become possible.
