Arsenal is a strong team. But I have  not seen Arsenal perform well against strong opponents. Arsenal won 1-0 against Manchester United. But their performance was not satisfactory. Arsenal lost 1 - 0 against Liverpool. It  is difficult to predict how Arsenal will play against Manchester City. Whatever , if they want to continue competing for the title , Arsenal must win this match. Arsenal has already fallen behind in the title race due to the defeat against Liverpool.

Arsenal being a strong team does not give them the league title which they are fighting for rather their performance should give them the name strong team and for a team that wants to compete for the title they have to be ready to defeat top teams that is the only way they can be ahead of the other teams and have the opportunity to win the league.

Arsenal won against Manchester United, they lost against Liverpool the defending champions, if they can not win against Manchester City or Chelsea it's going to be difficult for them to win the league because they will be facing the strong teams home and away.

It is a funny game though. If Szoboszlai does not score that free kick and it ends 0-0 everyone is saying that Arsenal have a shot. If Liverpool not only drew that game but then did not get the penalty at the end people would be saying they are in trouble.

It is a game of inches much like gambling and I guess that is why we love it!

Of course if's and but's do not win football matches so no disagreement here!

Wilder replaces Selles for third Sheff Utd stint

Chris Wilder is back at Sheffield United for a third time as manager, three months after he was sacked to make way for Ruben Selles.

Wilder replaces Selles who was dismissed on Sunday following the Blades' 5-0 thrashing at Ipswich, which left them bottom of the Championship with no points.

Wilder, who turns 58 next week, was sacked by United's American owners, COH Sports, after they lost to Sunderland in the Championship play-off at Wembley.

COH Sports have reappointed Wilder on a contract until 2027 after Selles' calamitous spell as the former Southampton, Reading and Hull boss lost all six of his matches in charge.

"Chris Wilder returns with proven leadership and an unparalleled understanding of Sheffield United," a statement read on the club's website.

"We are confident he is the right person to restore momentum, unite the squad and supporters, and deliver the results necessary to achieve our objectives this season."

With how the Gunners started today's game I saw something different which I never saw from them this season, a good thing for them to use every style they know would work for them and not to only rely on set pieces. Now we could see that  pattern the Gunners came with which is different from how they played against Liverpool and we can't expect Ange Postecoglou to get his first win against Arsenal, no it can't happen with how productive the Gunners was, the method would help them progress and the bench is as strong as the guys on the pitch.
Viktor Gyökeres goal will motivate him to continue scoring and I believe he has gotten used to the way they play, now I'm expecting to see him get an away goal which he hasn't gotten since joining the Gunners.

Arsenal has always played attacking football and it surprises me seeing comments online saying that Arsenal don’t play attacking football rather tossing the ball around and hope for set pieces to score goals. Against Manchester United and Liverpool Arteta opted for a more conservative approach to those games which actually worked out well. If not for the free kick against Liverpool which was top class Arsenal would have left Anfield with a draw which everyone would have praised the tactics used but unfortunately we lost.

As for Gyokeres, more goals will come, he is adapting well to the team so expect more.

When the Gunners played against Liverpool it was terrible for me, they couldn't play like a team with different options and in that game Liverpool wasn't themselves which they I mean the Gunners should have taken advantage of but they stayed back without this very hot attack we just saw them play in their game against Nottingham Forest, let's forget that their opponent wasn't strong but if you see a team that lacks so much in a particular wing you'll use that position to create chances to get goals and it will force the coach to make a desperate change out of his initial plan but the Arsenal players didn't do any of such.
Why I'm saying this is because the player Liverpool was using as the right back which wasn't a natural RB talking about Szoboszlai, the Gunners couldn't capitalize, instead they allowed him to be comfortable in that position as if he's good at that position, cutting off their attack and they Arsenal players had no other way of getting goals other than hoping for a set piece to come for them to hit on Liverpool, that was when it came from, the set piece issue which was the truth.
If they had used this momentum they used against Nottingham against Liverpool believe me the Red won't have won that game let's forget about the free kick, they won't have gotten the 3pt, Arsenal would have walked away with the 3pt and with more than a goal because Liverpool was poor in performance that very day.
As for Viktor Gyökeres, he'll definitely get more goals, his confidence is growing very well and he's feeling the flow of the game on like when he joined I wasn't even sure of him getting a goal before the end of August because it seems like the players can't understand him or Gyökeres can't understand how they played but now things about him has changed and I sure hope he compete with Haaland for the Golden boot award, let's see who's going to be the first to reach 10 goals.

Arsenal is continuously finishing second in EPL and to win this title they need to win matches against strong teams like Liverpool. City has won it's game against Man United by 3-0 and that must have lifted up there morals for next game. For Arsenal, the margin of loss is very low because there fans and management don't want second position anymore.

Manchester United has been an ordinary team since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson. I was really disappointed with what they played against Manchester City, I was really expecting better from them, but I just realized that Manchester United has not changed from the previous season and they are still a shit team.

Honestly, I never saw a three Nil defeat happening no matter how unorganized Manchester united have been. When you're playing a Manchester derby that's supposed to be one tough game to talk on, it's rare before you see this kind of result but this is the reality we've come to see with modern football, there's nothing like a team that's supposed to play well, if you don't take your chances, you certainly will get punished for it. They failed to take there chances and the rest is just history.

As it stands, we don't know what to expect from Manchester united any longer. Will they continue putting up this kind of performance and expect to end well by the end of the season when other teams are already getting point and going ahead of them? The blame game on the coach, players and keeper does not changed the fact that everyone in the team needs to sit up or else, the relegation we are all seeing as impossible will one day become possible.

Manchester United have completely lost their way. The previous season ended in failure, which prevented them from competing in any European league. I thought this season might be a turning point for United, leading to a better performance in domestic competitions, especially in the English Premier League. However, when the season began, they began with a bitter start, losing their opening match to Arsenal, drawing with Fulham, and being eliminated in the second round of the League Cup by an amateur club. In week three, United were fortunate enough to secure a narrow win over Burnley, but in week four, they performed poorly again and were sent home empty-handed from Man City.

At this point, it's unclear who's to blame. They've made a coaching change, brought in new players, and gotten rid of problematic and underperforming players like Antony, Garnacho, Onana, Hojlund, and Marcus Rashford. Still, the squad coached by Ruben Amorin hasn't shown any glimmer of hope for improvement. And what happened was, the players they got rid of immediately showed extraordinary performances at their new clubs, such as Onana who performed solidly with Trabzonspor, successfully making eight saves in his debut match in the Turkish Super League against Fenerbahce. And so did Hojlun who immediately performed extraordinary in his debut match with Napoli and immediately managed to score a goal against Fiorentina. Meanwhile, regarding Antony, there is no need to ask again, last season he performed well with Real Betis in every match in La Liga.

Arsenal is really playing a nice football but the spirit of consistency is not there because very soon they will start misbehaving and will amount them to not winning the league. This season is looking tough and it will really be hard for Arsenal because almost all the big teams are playing absolutely well even some smaller teams are also playing well. Manchester city played very well yesterday against Manchester united and the two players that always score Manchester united scored yesterday and it is really a shame to Manchester united as a whole for losing the match even when they knew Manchester city is not really good and stable this season, Brighton came from behind and beat Manchester city and Manchester city beat Manchester united 3:0 is that not crazy. I wish it is possible they should have gone for a break because they are playing shit.

Everyone has an opinion on past football matches, and that's perfectly normal in the world of football. The conditions of each season are always different, so it always provides a fair amount of entertainment for everyone and for those who like to bet on football. And this season, Liverpool and Arsenal are already in first and second place in the Premier League table, even though they've only played four matches. But going forward, no one knows whether they'll maintain their positions or drop to a worse position.

This season has just started. Arsenal have made big changes to their squad. The new players have not yet adapted well to the coach's match strategy. But Arsenal have faced giant teams in the Premier League. So naturally we are seeing some irregular performance from Arsenal. Except Leeds United, every opponent of Arsenal was strong. Manchester United, Liverpool and Nottingham Forest were all three strong squads. In the next two matches, Arsenal will face City and Newcastle. These two teams are also renowned teams in the Premier League. So we may see some unstable performance from Arsenal in the next few weeks.

However, it should not be forgotten that if you want to win the Premier League title, you must play well consistently. Especially against renowned teams. Otherwise, Arsenal will gradually fall behind in the title race.

Why does everyone affiliated to Manchester United keep making it seem like the goalkeeper has been the problem of the team while obviously the team is weak in other areas as well. How do you expect the goalkeepers to be at their best when the defense is weak and shaky and the midfield is also not strong enough, you don’t play like trash and expect the goalkeeper to be doing miracles between the sticks man it’s impossible. United should just sack Amorim and find a better coach, there are managers who will be getting good results even with this current United team.

The players work according to instructions, and when they make mistakes, it doesn't mean they should blame each other. Defeat is a shared responsibility, and if a manager can't admit his mistakes, don't expect this club to demonstrate solid teamwork. Amorim has pushed himself beyond his limits as United manager, or worse the club's owner never fully supported club.

I think that Arsenal will likely win the match against Manchester City. I watched Manchester daddy and I can tell you that Manchester City is not back in their good form. If Manchester United had a better mechanism for scoring goals, they would have beaten Manchester City even in the first half. I believe that in this present season, the Arsenal squad is better than the Manchester City squad even in the absence of bukaya Saka. Although we are not going to write off the fact that Arsenal always find it difficult to win against big teams like Manchester City. But I believe that Arsenal will do differently this season from what they are used to in the previous seasons.

Talking about Manchester United and Chelsea, it is unfortunate that Manchester United is going to lose again not because they don't have the good players to win them matches but because of the formation of Manchester United stubborn coach.

What will be of Nottingham Forest for sacking Nuno? I don't think it was a good idea for letting Nuno go because he has been a good manager at the club and I think he would have continue doing what he knows how to do best for the club, like we all know that he got them to where they are now but it seems like the owner wanted more.
Is like Nottingham are going to face a hard time this season and we shouldn't use just one bad game with the new coach to judge but can Nottingham get back to the good form Nuno left them with, what's your on this?

Yes, Arsenal is a strong team and has been a title contender every season. Arsenal's problem in recent seasons has been consistency in their performances, which is evident in their inconsistent second half and their loss in the title race. Some people think that Arsenal does not have the mentality to maintain its smooth run in winning the title, this statement can be considered true or maybe wrong if we look at it from different perspectives.

Every team in the Premier League is a strong team, so every match is difficult to predict, even though we know the top teams are always the favorites. Arsenal has struggled to maintain consistent performance each season, and I'm even convinced they're having the same problem this season.

Are you for real? Doku was quite outstanding in that game as he was very instrumental and also laid the ground work for two goals to be scored. Yes, he didn't score a goal himself, his presence was greatly felt on the game. I had wanted and hoped for Manchester to win the game but after the second goal, I lost hope of a comeback from United. I wasn't wrong as City scored a third goal sealing their victory.
Man city deserved the win as they played some good football against United yesterday. They may have not been at their best like you think, that didn't stop them from giving Man United an ass whooping.

Chelsea lost this match due to Enzo Maresca's unnecessary mistakes. What the hell was he thinking starting the match with weaker players and bringing in this that should've started the match to salvage the situation?

He had the same match with V.Kompany of Bayern who smartly brought his best players to play the first half and removed them when they've done their job leading by 4 goals. ASAP I saw that lineups, it was obvious to me that Chelsea didn't come to win today. Very very sad outcome.

Champion's League effect mate… and they are the one doing the travelling, so you can't really blame the coach. He was trying to be conservative, but I guess that didn't give him the result they wanted in the end. They almost had the 3 points.

Chelsea just need to be a little more consistent throughout the season. I think they will do well with the quality of players they have

There's a better way to be conservative and that entails going all out in the beginning and resting the important players when the job is done. For me he ended up stressing the players more by bringing them in to fight to save the situation when it's already messy. It's just too early for that gamble that I perceived in that match.

I don't even know how coaches feels that resting players will make them have an higher edge in their future match because for me those strategies doesn't make any sense because some coaches can still rest players against an upcoming game but they will still not perform well so what's the need. You are right that Chelsea ended up stressing their important players because it will surely affect them in their match against Bayern Munich because they are facing a very tough opponent so if the players are stressed it means that their gameplay will be affected as well. However, i don't blame Enzo Maresca because he was trying to remedy the situation when Brentford was leading which was the reason he ended up bringing in substitute like Garnacho and Cole Palmer if not they would have been reserved for their Champions League match against Bayern Munich.

I’ve watched every Liverpool game this season — they’re winning, but not because they’re the better team. It’s mostly because luck is on their side (a late goal against Newcastle, a wonder goal against Arsenal, a silly penalty against Burnley).

They’ve had a lot of luck, but sooner or later, luck runs out. Then we’ll see if they have the quality to make up for it.

Lucky or not, the fact remains that the three points were secured. So, there's no reason to deny Liverpool a victory just because of that one goal. Underestimating Liverpool would be wrong, because in this season's Premier League, have you ever seen a team better than them sweep all their matches unbeaten? Except your favorite team might not be in the top 3. So I'll understand

Liverpool can never be underestimated. However, I personally am still unsure whether Liverpool can be considered lucky or not. Like in the match against Burnley, I actually saw Liverpool as unlucky. They kept controlling the ball but couldn't really create many meaningful attacks. That's not like them. However, their victory does show that Liverpool were still lucky. But the victory was a fair result. In fact, Liverpool should have scored more goals.

Liverpool still has weaknesses at the back this season. And these weaknesses weren't really visible last season. I hope Arne Slot really addresses them soon, because if Liverpool face another strong team, I worry about their defense.

Exactly they've been lucky for the past three matches and it's really making them to believe they're the best of team this season, like those guys are not really playing to my own expectations, out of the whole lots of money spent in the transfer market and seeing this performance it's quite disappointing, if Manchester City spent such money on players trust me we would see the results of the money spent right the very moment the season starts, I'm beginning to doubt their credibility to win the English premier League because they can't keep getting lucky in all of their games so when they run out of luck what's gonna happen?

As they jokingly say, the only active person in Manchester United is their bus driver. He doesn't fail to take them to the venues where they are beaten. I yesterday's game against Manchester City, Benfica chiefs were in attendance at the Etihad to monitor Amorim's situation in the club and if he feels like he wants to leave the club or if eventually Manchester United sacks him, they are willing to hire him. Wow, that means there are still clubs that believes in him which is to say that, his not entirely the problem from this gesture from Benfica.

Getting a new coach won't change their situation because they have been doing so in the past seasons after the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson, Amorim should be given more time i think bring in new coaches almost every season could be also be affecting the team.
In the aspect of seeing Manchester United as a big team i don't see them as such for now i don't consider them as a big team so i dont expect much from them.
