Liverpool has been lucky so far because imagine winning all 4 matches within 80+ minutes and at injury time. The first game against Bournemouth they won it in the 88th minute, against Newcastle they won in 90+10 minutes, against Arsenal it was 83th minute that they scored and against Burnley they scored in 90+5 minutes so it shows that they are really lucky especially against Newcastle and Burnley because both winnings came at stoppage time. Liverpool's defense was only porous in the first 2 games they played but Arne Slot really did a good work after then because in their last two matches they didn't concede any goals again which shows that there is an improvement in the defense area.

You are correct 100% and is all they have been doing since the beginning of the season, operating on luck and some of the fans will praise their winning which I don't really see as them doing it as they used to like last season. The Red will surely run out of luck and I have that feeling that if they lose their first game the struggle will start showing up. Is as if they lost that aggressiveness of last season where they'll have to pressure to get goals I mean goals not one and even with the 1 goal lead they'll continue pushing for more to come [I think they are missing Diaz and some players who left the team], like Liverpool made sure of dominating every game they played but now I only have to say they're struggling to survive in every game nothing more but some supporters might see it as the plans of the manager that is working.

Yeah, luck is helping Liverpool. It cannot be denied. But, even if they secured a win by scoring at the last minute, can we say that Liverpool's performance was weak in any match? We have seen Liverpool's dominance in every match. Liverpool secured a win against Bournemouth and Newcastle by scoring at the last minute. But even then we cannot find the weakness in their overall performance. They have dominated and won in all four matches. However, Liverpool should be more aware. Especially I would say that it is very important to strengthen the defense. Liverpool conceded two goals each in the matches against Bournemouth and Newcastle. If it continues like this, Liverpool will fail to continue their winning streak

Don't be emotional bro, it is football and for the first match after break is always full of surprises. They should be happy with the three points they got because not easy to get that from a team that was that determined like Burnley were. I know Liverpool was not in the top form we know them for but they were able to get the three point which is all that matters. A win is a win and it has its way of raising the confidence of the players.
If you are mean the fact that Liverpool had to leave it late before they could beat Burnley was because of stress, fatigue and disorientation that came from the international break I have to disagree with you on that.
Liverpool before going to the International break has been winning almost like the same way they did against Burnley so I think the problem has been there even before the international break.
It's undeniable that Liverpool struggled to break through Burnley's goal in this match. I'm not sure what caused Liverpool's struggles in this match. But what's clear is that Burnley had a truly excellent defense. Even though Burnley was constantly under attack by Liverpool, they managed to defend very well. Perhaps if Liverpool hadn't been awarded a penalty, I think the final result would have been a draw. However, we can't say that this match wasn't deserved by Liverpool. After all, Liverpool played their best in this match, so with that in mind, I think Liverpool's victory is worth celebrating.

While it's true that Liverpool weren't able to capitalize on every opportunity they had, I think that's quite normal. Because in football, a team can't always play perfectly, so sometimes a team that was truly great can play less well. So that's the bottom line, and besides, Liverpool did manage to get the full 3 points. And that's truly the most important thing. With this win, Liverpool can remain at the top of the table with a little more comfort, as they currently have a three-point lead over their rivals, Arsenal.

Amorin is never a problem he was the best coach when he was in sporting the problem remains in the system Manchester United doesn't have a good team that can perform yet. The players in United are not doing enough to win games they are not competitive and is relaxed no matter the result that they get.

Perfectly said!! I don't even rate any football fan calling him a bad manager honestly. Because only a daft football fan would say things like he's a bad manager. We have quality players in front of goal who can hurt teams but we need our midfielders to detect games and control the tempo of the game. Exactly!! I don't see the fight from these players and we can't be talking about growth and change and still have players like Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire still in the squad.

If it quality, we have them in Manchester United, a lot of quality, he just need to play a more flexible formation so these players can play more freely, imagine a player like Dorgu having much ball in the attacking line, he his a good defender and not an attacker so playing up in the pitch won’t offer anything up front.

I guess I’m daft then, because I will always put the blame on Amorim. When Ten hag was in charge we said he was the problem and because it Amorim now most people want to put the blame on players. He had all summer to bring in players of his choice but he didn’t bring in any defender that means he his comfortable with the ones he have and same goes to the midfield.

Kobbie was our best player under Ten hag and he came in and said he is not good enough, for me all what you want kobbie will give us in that midfield. Play the boy, trust the boy and the midfield will be okay.

In football it all comes down to the manager, a new manager would take charge of this same team and we would be fighting for a place in Europe next season.

Manchester United has bigger problems than the coaching crew. They have signed two of Europe's finest coaches, yet they are still struggling.  Erik Ten Hag was an outstanding coach at Ajax before he came to Old Trafford. He suddenly began to struggle to put the team together.  The same thing is happening to Ruben Amorim.  Sporting Lisbon has not recovered from his departure. His tactical skills made the Portuguese side a force in Europe.  I think the club management should look inward and sort out its problems.

I’ve watched every Liverpool game this season — they’re winning, but not because they’re the better team. It’s mostly because luck is on their side (a late goal against Newcastle, a wonder goal against Arsenal, a silly penalty against Burnley).

They’ve had a lot of luck, but sooner or later, luck runs out. Then we’ll see if they have the quality to make up for it.
Lucky or not, the fact remains that the three points were secured. So, there's no reason to deny Liverpool a victory just because of that one goal. Underestimating Liverpool would be wrong, because in this season's Premier League, have you ever seen a team better than them sweep all their matches unbeaten? Except your favorite team might not be in the top 3. So I'll understand Roll Eyes
Liverpool can never be underestimated. However, I personally am still unsure whether Liverpool can be considered lucky or not. Like in the match against Burnley, I actually saw Liverpool as unlucky. They kept controlling the ball but couldn't really create many meaningful attacks. That's not like them. However, their victory does show that Liverpool were still lucky. But the victory was a fair result. In fact, Liverpool should have scored more goals.

Liverpool still has weaknesses at the back this season. And these weaknesses weren't really visible last season. I hope Arne Slot really addresses them soon, because if Liverpool face another strong team, I worry about their defense.

I wouldn’t say it’s luck, I disagree with you when you said Liverpool have been lucky, how can a team be lucky in four games, and you should also understand that football is played for 90+ so in football you can score at anytime in this interval, I don’t think it’s ever written somewhere that you must start scoring as soon as the game starts, the way Liverpool are winning games that is a true example of a Champions, probably when you’re struggling to break teams down with low blocks, you have to come up with something different to win games, that is how a tittle winning teams play football, against Burnley if Arsenal had faced a low block like Liverpool faced you’ll see Arsenal dropping points in that game, but people feels because it’s Burnley they should’ve won 10 goals, football isn’t like that, Against Newcastle Arsenal would’ve dropped points because of how Newcastle played the game, because of the Alexander Isak transfer saga, so you should know, you can score and win football games at anytime as long as it’s 90+, so there is no such thing as luck in football to me, you win games with your performance, Arsenal didn’t even take risk at all to win the game against Liverpool, the season is still fresh and we shall see other teams performance against low blocks teams.

I'm sure Liverpool's victory is encouraging, but their performance is a major problem. They've won every match in the standings, but they haven't been playing the same impressively as last year. They're managing to win, but they need to learn to win more and also show their impressive play here. They face Atlético Madrid in the Champions League, and a tough match awaits them.

I'm not satisfied of how Liverpool performs so far but the table says otherwise but conceding 4 goals in 4 games doesn't look super promising for the long season of EPL and personally I do enjoy Arsenal football more than Liverpool and I can even trow Chelsea there right now.

In UCL , I think Liverpool will do fine until elimination phase but I could see Madrid snatching 1 point from them or even 3 points with a bit of luck as Atl.Madrid is not doing great so far in start of LaLiga Sad.
I guess your sentiment is on performance level, because you want this Liverpool team to beat teams 5 nil and 10 nil, Come on man that isn’t how football works, as a Champion there are so many teams who will want to beat you, and that is what Liverpool is facing now, most of this teams aren’t even interested in playing football instead defend defend and play on a low block, Burnley didn’t even play football because their tactics was a defending on a low block, Arsenal wasn’t even ready to win the game against Liverpool, they only came for a draw and they were disappointed, Arsenal rely heavily on set- piece, a team that wants to win the Premier League tittle takes risk, and Arsenal isn’t taking risk to win big games.

Football is played for 90 minutes, whichever way you get results does it matter ? It’s only important you win football games, I’ve not seen a coach get sacked for winning games, and I’ve not seen a team get criticized for winning games, I must say I’m satisfied with the way Liverpool are performing and winning games. What is the difference in performing well and loosing games and performing badly and winning games, which is more important, Liverpools mentality are hard to find in football nowadays and that is why they will win the Premier League again.

Everything takes time, but if there's no positive progress within half a season, it means the coach has failed. We can't say Amorim is a bad or good coach, but I think he's simply not a good fit for the Manchester United team, resulting in no positive changes.

Overall, it seems there's nothing wrong, for example, the players are quality, as is the coach. However, Manchester United's management needs to be improved and the process should begin on the right track. They're currently in a deep slump and need effective and extra efforts to recover.

I will slightly disagree with you when you said luck is helping Liverpool, because I don’t believe there is a such thing as luck in the game of football, basically Football is played for 90 minutes and whichever time you score goals it doesn’t matter, what matters is that you’re winning football games and I don’t think you get criticized for winning games late minutes, I understand you people are expecting Liverpool to win 4 goals, 10 goals, but that isn’t the case here, when you are a champions you have to struggle in winning games, All the teams Liverpool have beaten this season have only lost to Liverpool except Burnley.

Well you have said Liverpool are having a good performance, in the four games Liverpool have played they have dominated the games, so I really don’t understand the sentiment behind Liverpool being lucky, I don’t believe there is luck in football, good performance is the ultimate achievement, and

Liverpool had several shot in their match last week but they couldn't get a better shot on target, they are playing well but need to improve in goal scoring they were lucky to get 3 points last week they scored at the finishing time with a penalty i think it will be difficult for Liverpool to get a loss in the premier league.

They are playing with one of the most difficult club in Europe who also don't  get defeated easily it will be hard one to predict.

With four games left in the season and a long way to go, Liverpool will undoubtedly up their game. This isn't the end, just because Liverpool often have the advantage in the final minutes. It might be too early to judge whether Liverpool will continue to rely on luck until the end of the season. For now, Arne Slot won't be silent if he sees his defense like this.

We can't entirely blame Amorim, as it certainly won't be easy for him to revive Manchester United's performance. The problem is, all teams now have different squads than last season, so it certainly won't be easy for him to revive Manchester United's performance. The most important thing, of course, is the role of the players themselves, because if the players aren't performing well, it will certainly make it difficult for any team to recover.

In my opinion, the most important thing is to give Amorim time to improve. After all, Amorim is a great coach, and I remember him being truly excellent at Sporting. Of course, in the Premier League, he needs time to adapt, and sometimes it takes a while for Amorim to get used to it. Now, of course, we'll just have to wait and see how Manchester United can win their upcoming matches. However, finishing in the top 10 at the end of the season is certainly a great achievement, so we'll just have to see what happens.

It's just surprising to me that out of 31 matches managed by Amorim in the league, he only has 8 wins to his name, this is never a good statistics. If it were to be a classroom, it's total failure. I do not understand the tactics his deploying, I don't know if his doing experiments with his players and where they are to play. Just look at their match against City. The position he deployed some players to were not even their positions. Take Fernandez for instance, his a player that like to explore the spaces around which means his a free role player but in that match, he was deployed deep into the midfield.

Yes I know that he inherited a terrible Manchester united squad from Eric ten hang but it's not a tangible reason not to win at least 15 matches out of 31.
Then talking about his tactics, I haven't pay much attention to that though, but in my honest opinion, Manchester united plays better now than when Eric ten hang was the manager of the club, and if he is given enough time to to implement his playing system, he might even surprise us all, just that his numbers is not helping matters at all, 8 winnings out of 31, that's extremely poor for a top team like Manchester united.

This season, the strong teams are not able to spend time with good performances, I have seen many weak teams being very aggressive. In this match, the Liverpool team had the possibility of winning by a greater margin, because the opposing team Burnley team lost one player and became even weaker. They could not take advantage of this opportunity, many of the Liverpool team's attack department were weak. Although the Liverpool team had a full squad in this match, including Mohamed Salah in the attack department, this match did not have an optimistic result for the gamblers.
However, if the Liverpool team performs like this against the weak teams, then in the end there will be a high possibility of damaging their reputation.

It is difficult to achieve what is expected but that is what has happened, even so Manchester United has used its best abilities for now by looking at the statistics that occurred Manchester United had many good opportunities to score goals but in the end the reception was often less precise in its target. Of course that is an assessment by its fans in matches against other teams.

I’m eager to hear what you guys think about Onana’s performance yesterday’s game. I didn’t watch the full game, I only watched the highlights on YouTube and I saw Onana made some interesting saves but I can’t speak on his overall performance in the game. I want to know if Manchester United was the problem or is Onana just a bad goalie.

He had some good games at United too, but for a goalkeeper consistency is more important than a few bright games (for forwards it's the other way around), so we need to wait for some statistically relevant sample. I think at least 10 games are needed to see how he will show himself. In fact, I understand that United is a real problem in the case of many players who have rotted there, but I doubt that the mistakes he made playing at United can be somehow justified.

What surprises me most is what I read today about the management continuing to trust Amorim, it's almost the same as what I heard when they talked about ten Hag when everything was bad. You're right, winning 8 games out of 31 is a terrible statistic, especially for a team like Manchester United, but apparently the club's problem is now deeply rooted in all structures, starting with the club's owners, they are clearly not ready to manage such a team and what is happening is very sad, these are clearly the most difficult times for the team and all the fans.

Former Chelsea and Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has signed for Australian side Melbourne Victory.

The 37-year-old, who was part of Spain's 2010 World Cup-winning squad, joins after spending last season at A-League rivals Western Sydney Wanderers.

He made just seven starts last season and says he has joined Victory wanting more playing time.

"I'm not somebody that demands game time for just the sake of it," said Mata.

"I really felt the energy in the club. I really felt that they wanted me here. I am driven and motivated to help this team win trophies and to work with the club as part of a longer-term plan to strengthen football in the country."

Mata has had a decorated career, also winning the European Championship in 2012 with Spain when he scored in the 4-0 final victory over Italy.

After proving himself as Valencia's talisman, he signed for Chelsea in 2011 where he won the Champions League, Europa League and FA Cup.
