It's not easy to maintain consistency in the Premier League because it's a very competitive competition and indeed Crystal Palace's victory over Liverpool can increase their motivation and confidence but the journey this season is still very long and I doubt Crystal Palace can maintain their team's performance.

Some of you people are making sound as if it's only in the premier league that's this competitiveness. Common in other leagues their top teams do lose matches and they don't make a big deal about it. As for Crystal Palace, so far this season they have been impressive but the truth is that, when it starts getting toughy they will definitely drop for the main teams to replace them.

It's not easy to talk about consistency for any team, because situations and circumstances can affect a team in the short term, whether it's a home or away game, they all have different energy levels. On the other hand, injuries or red cards that prevent key players from playing in several games can change the overall performance of the team.

The same applies to other leagues, except for the French League and the Bundesliga, which have teams capable of dominating their leagues with remarkable consistency. LOL

Wow, yesterday games almost made a repeat of last weekend games. Last week all the Saturday games played both teams to score and just yesterday we almost saw a repeat of that. Out of 7 matches played yesterday in the league, 6 out of it played both teams to score except for the Nottingham Forest Vs Sunderland game where Nottingham Forest failed to score.

Yeah you're right. I believe we'll see more of that this season. Good to see EPL teams are transitioning to a more attacking game than sitting for 90 mins.

Aston Villa is probably going to get  the first win of this Premier League. Although  they are one of the renowned teams in the Premier League, their performance this season was very weak.

Aston villa was at the bottom of the points table. They could not play well in a single match. But their performance in today's match was quite good. Fulham scored  a goal in just 3 minutes of the match. But even then Villa's players tried their best to perform  well. Aston Villa was leading 2-1 at the end of the first half. And Aston villa scored another goal at the beginning of the second half. Aston Villa is leading 3 - 1 at the end of 70 minutes. It is expected that Villa will get 3 points today.

The match ended 3 - 1. Aston Villa got their first win. Aston Villa is now in 16th place in the point table. Villa  played well in today's match. Still , it is not certain whether the team will  be able to continue this consistency. Aston Villa will play against burnley in the next match of the Premier League. If Villa's performance is somewhat  stable, they will be able to earn 3 points in this match.

Shocking and surprising results coming up today, earlier on even before the kickoff, I had thought it was going to be a straight win for the champions but Crystal Palace proved most of us wrong. So many tickets will go down all because of Chelsea and Liverpool except maybe one went for over marke or both teams to score. It's only risk takers that can predict the loss of Liverpool and Chelsea this week.

I am sure many gamblers lost their bets today.  I had avoided betting on Liverpool and Manchester united. And both the favourites lost the match. The most surprising thing  was that Liverpool lost 2 - 1.

However, I had bet on Chelsea to win in the Chelsea vs brighton match. Chelsea failed to play well at home. Chelsea lost 3-1 against Brighton. We also saw Chelsea lose in the last match against Manchester United.

However, the best performance today was by Manchester City. 5-1 against Burnley. We saw a lot of attacks from City players. City players had 21 shots in the whole match. City is capable of performing well. But , the team is failing to continue its good performance.

Yeah it has been a terrible Saturday for bookies because there is no way people have compiled tickets without included either United, Liverpool, Madrid, Chelsea or Bournemouth and they all had a disappointing outcome apart from Bournemouth that drew their game. Manchester City were outstanding yesterday with a convincing performance against Burnley but that was expected I guess.

Those guys are doing very good work, I never know expected such a great performance from them against Liverpool although at some point points i wasn't surprised with their performance, I can't forget how they played against Liverpool in the community shield that made the to win that cup, Liverpool was leading them but they came from behind to equalize that game and later wok through penalty shot, single then I know ttat they have a great team that will be coming into this season to do the undo, winning Liverpool in the English premier league making it the first losing if the season of Liverpool has proven to us that crystal got some plans for the season.

Even if Crystal Palace gets dethroned in the second position if Arsenal wins Newcastle today, i applaud them for being the only team in the premier league that has gone six weeks without losing any match. Oliver Glasner is a good coach, after he won the community shield i respected him a lot and also commend Crystal Palace team work because even after they lost Eberechi Eze to Arsenal they still comported themselves in a good shape. Winning a team like Liverpool is not always easy for big teams not to talk of an average team like Crystal Palace, they deserves accolade. I just so like the vibes of the English premier league because no matter how brave a great any team is, a team that is least expected will humble them.

I disagree with you that Arsenal is not performing well in this match. They haven't gotten the right moment yet to net the post. Didn't you see the two beautiful strikes from Eze that Pope denied him. Arsenal problem is Pope, he has denied them several goals. Arsenal is dominating and winning possession. Newcastle was lucky to make something out of nothing. Newcastle defense is very strong couple with their goalie.

Aston Villa really needed that win, and if you observed how they played, you’ll see that they came to the pitch to prove a point lol. They were totally in control of the game because Fulham didn’t seem like much of a problem to them, it was like easy pizzy.

And as for Arsenal, at a time that they were required to be consistent was exactly when they started slipping, that was their only mistake, Newcastle saw the loophole early and took advantage of the situation, narrowly beating them, and this wins just showed the kind of edge you need in the title race. Palace proved the point that even the strongest could lose it if they fall under pressure.

It was obvious to me that Crystal Palace prepared for Slot’s game and tactics. I say this because the more they play Liverpool lately the easier it becomes for them to outplay Liverpool. I had a feeling that arsenal wont be able to dominate this game today, my prediction was for the game to end in a draw but right now with the way they are performing I don't think that would happen. It is impossible for arsenal to score two goals in that second half, this game might end in a 1-0 scoreline. This weekend is probably the worst because big teams are really messing up. Lets hope arsenal equalizes

I will only give a bad assessment if they also lose in their next match, although in this match against Newcastle United, Arsenal were behind to Nick Woltemade's goal, and I see Arsenal having a chance to turn the game around.
