We have seen Manchester united's poor performance at the beginning of the season. So we did not have much expectations from United at the beginning of the  season. But at the moment Manchester United has to be considered a strong team. Manchester united has won in the last three matches. And they  have won against three strong squads. Sunderland , liverpool and Brighton are all very strong  teams. Sunderland is now in fourth place in the points table. It is expected that manchester united will be able to continue their winning streak for a few more weeks. Anyway, the Tottenham vs united match will undoubtedly be very competitive. But I will put United ahead.

Of course, at the start of the season, the team was full of doubts and uncertainties, and i must say their game wasn't exactly at its best. Now, a sort of transformation has slowly taken place; the team is starting to be more confident in their play, even in their passing, at least that's what i see.
You can see that they think about the game calmly.

Hi guys, i was talking about this in another thread, Crystal Palace are playing very very well, in this case i don't feel like blaming Liverpool, it could overshadow the skill of Crystal Palace who are really improving both in quality and quantity of play.

I don't dispute what you are saying that crystal palace is playing well that is absolutely true but again it doesn't mean they played more than Liverpool, Liverpool is playing a very nice football but winning is now a problem for them and I think the English tends to give them more tough and hard time than other leagues and the reason is because since they are from same league they kinda understand their pattern of play because if you check Liverpool vs Frankfurt you will see what I'm talking about. Just mote that Liverpool is playing well but they have not been lucky or fortunate enough.

In other matches, Liverpool might have simply been unlucky, as they sometimes still play as well as they do in the Premier League. However, in the EFL Cup, especially today's match against Crystal Palace, I felt Liverpool's performance wasn't that great. And they lost because they simply weren't playing better than Crystal Palace. Even from the match statistics alone, it's clear which team was superior. Liverpool weren't able to create many chances. While I understand this, as Liverpool didn't immediately field their best players, Arne Slot's strategy still felt inappropriate.

However, it must be admitted that Liverpool's performance in previous UCL matches was excellent. And perhaps Crystal Palace was just lucky they didn't see the same Liverpool performance they displayed in their last UCL match.

Slot was once again awful with his selection today, I’m really getting tired of Slots selection, I’m sick and tired of him loosing games like this manner, even Brendan Rodgers’ didn’t loose this much games on a straight, this isn’t my Liverpool anymore.

I was so shocked when I saw the line up against crystal palace last night. I wonder why Slot made such team selection against a team that that even won your first team in the premier league. I keep wondering what could be his reasons for such an awful team selection. Is he that the caraboa trophy isn't important or he is not tired of loosing games? Or is it that he doesn't want to weaken his team in preparation for the weekend game as they face Aston Villa.

Whatever the thing is, Slot should rather think fast and resolidify his name again because he is loosing it gradually. What was even Arne Slot's reason for not presenting the major players against Palace because i don't even see any big game they have at hand that will require them to give more priority to it. Look at the formation he even used 4-2-3-1, with this formation there was no way Liverpool would have even scored a goal because Arne Slot gave more attention to the midfield while the attacking positions is just left with one striker so how would it have been able for them to score. With the current form of Aston Villa, Liverpool may not win them in their next game because Aston Villa won a big team last week namely Manchester City and for the past 6 Premier League games Aston Villa haven't lost except for the losses they got against Brentford and Crystal Palace towards the start of the season games. As far as i know, Liverpool is in a more stable form than Liverpool so we shouldn't hope for anything different from them because they are likely to lose the match.

Crystal Palace played well its true. But what is the secret of liverpool's poor performance? The team has been playing poorly consistently. Arne Slot has made big changes to his squad in this match. But we do not see any benefit from it. As usual, Liverpool's performance was weak. Liverpool fans have to accept the fact that Arne slot's match strategy is not  working. Liverpool's strategy needs to be changed. Otherwise, it seems unlikely that they will see any improvement in  their performance. Shouldn't Arsenal and City be focusing on other tournaments, why are they winning their matches while Liverpool allows themselves to suffer such a defeat in front of their fans? I personally was surprised by the players who played in the starting eleven yesterday, and it did seem like Liverpool weren't prioritizing the match. They should have considered it important. They should have won it to rebuild their confidence and motivation, allowing them to perform better in future matches. However, I don't understand what Arne Slot was thinking. What's clear is that defeat always lowers players' motivation in future matches. Player confidence can fluctuate, and one of the causes is sometimes a series of defeats, which can lead to a team experiencing a confidence crisis. So, sometimes we see a team that initially performs well, but after one loss, they sometimes slump in subsequent matches after experiencing defeat in the previous one. And yes, that means there's some kind of confidence impact. Liverpool should be able to maintain consistency in all matches across all competitions.

In essence, Arne Slot is not creative in implementing strategies, and it must be recognized that Arne Slot is very monotonous. So it is not surprising that Premier League clubs can easily conquer Liverpool's game because they already know how. Broadly speaking, the quality of players is owned by Liverpool, but in the implementation of the game, Crystal Palace is certainly better and more stable because each player already understands each other. I think Liverpool is actually headed to a point that their problem will be beyond repair, like how can this be? Come on I don't know how much luck can affect football matches, you can be unlucky if a player gets injured, you can be unlucky if you have two injuries in a match, but if you don't play well you don't have bad luck, you're simply not playing well and you're not giving your full potential.
When an important team loses we immediately blame bad luck, but I believe that if they lose they only have two chances or they didn't play well or the opposing team played better.
I see it this way, but I'm happy for Liverpool who still took control of the situation even if in this match they returned to playing discreetly.

Finally, Amorim's formula at Man United is starting to show. Achieving three consecutive wins is a good foundation for a revival especially in terms of motivation and mentality. From this, we can also assess for ourselves that everything requires a process it can't be instant. Even preparing delicious food requires a process.

So everything takes time everyone needs to adapt to fit in with the coach's formation, whether it's a familiar one or a standard one. Furthermore being able to encourage teammates, play according to their position, or learn a new position, even one they dislike, requires a strong mentality. Don't cause trouble, don't let it get in the way, and don't be dramatic. This is what I see from Man United today they are slowly changing, and most importantly, they shouldn't be complacent with their current success; they must continue to work hard.

The next match Man United will face Nottingham, based on the current team performance, Man United is highly favored to win because Nottingham is currently in a slump and they have not even won in the last few matches.
