I don't think that we should use Arsenal match to also conclude that Carrick is the messiah United have been looking for to revive the club because United use to be very strong when they clash with big teams. United performance with average clubs and small clubs with what we should use to judge Carrick. Like I said in my previous post, four upcoming matches can be used to evaluate Carrick performance on the team.

Manchester United often appears weak whenever they came across weak team but they played very strong when facing big teams. We can't judge hurriedly that Carrick is the expected Messiah just because Manchester United were victorious against Manchester city. This is exactly same hype Ruben amorim  received when he begun coaching Manchester United. Arsenal might change that narrative about Michael Carrick when they beat Manchester United.

While I get that they managed to beat City, which made people question if Carrick actually found a way to make this team work, you have to understand that it is not going to be that easy to make this work at all, it is definitely a tough challenge and because of that we can't really see this being an issue at all. I get that it is going to be very difficult, and not going to be like some 5-0 type of game for Arsenal, but they will get the win.

In fact, I trust them so much that I think they will win the Inter game AND they will win the United game as well. I know for the past two weeks they haven't won games and got draws but they are bouncing back up again, I can feel it.

Amorim was given ample time. But he  could not bring stability to Manchester united's performance. But he did not stop  trying. While united played well in a few matches , their overall performance was erratic.

Manchester United was able to perform incredibly well against Manchester city with the help of Michael carrick. In several matches, Manchester United was able to perform well and win. But their main problem is not being able to maintain consistency. If Carrick can solve this problem then he will be successful and his job at manchester united will be permanent. United's opponent  in the next match is arsenal. Waiting to see United's performance in this match.

Did you hyped Amorim, because he didn't do well in his first three matches since he was only focused on Europa League because he thought he can win that but unfortunately, he lost the finals. Do you know Amorim is the worse coach ever that United have hired due to his match records. He got the most defeats in the history of United coaches. I didn't believe in him but I was hoping he could do better before he got fired.

As usual, Manchester United fans has high expectation after their favorite team success defeating Manchester City last match and has the same dreaming for upcoming match will beat Arsenal. Its not easily and can't comparison current performance of Manchester United after the crucial victory at derby match will continue at away match against Arsenal, we know Manchester United has difficult keep defending consistent performance after winning one match and upcoming match get draw or loss.
Michael Carrick started well at the first match by defeating Manchester City and upcoming match will face Arsenal, its great challenge for Carrick when appointing Manchester United's manager have to face the top opponent teams.

Manchester United winning this game shouldn't give them any ideas about keeping their manager. Carrick isn't a horrible manager and should definitely manage some team somewhere, but at the same time we are talking about one of the biggest names in football at United, and they should always go for one of the biggest names as manager too. The fact that they haven't done that in a while is upsetting and disappointing.

Erik Ten Hag did alright at Eredevise and that's why they get him? Or Amorim does good at Portugal and they get him? Manchester United should be the type of team that chases the latest UCL winners, or managers that did great in big five leagues, like champions level of managers. Get Conte, Louis Enrique, Kompany, someone that size.

Manchester United is one of those teams with a lot of struggles and with no results.  I personally think that the team is still not clear about which factors are causing them towards their strong downfall. Because the condition of the team from Eric Ten Hag is not getting stable. And this is something about which no negligence will be accepted as the manger has always played a strong role in the great construction of the team being good . And there are things about Manchester United that they should recruit their players and bring some new faces and new talent to enhance or improve the performance of the team. And a best and talented coach is also the need or requirement of the team who has the abilities to expose the talent of the team and polish them as the best team.

If Arsenal can  maintain their performance, they will easily win the premier league this season. Manchester city and aston villa are the only two teams left in the title race. Both teams  have been inconsistent in their performances. City have won just one of their last five matches, while Aston Villa have won two. Arsenal have lost points in their last two  matches, but they have been consistently winning  their previous matches. Arsenal are still 7 points  behind City. As city's overall performance has become inconsistent, their points gap with arsenal will only increase in the future.

The worse mistake that Manchester United could make is to consider appointing Michael Carrick as manager, though he is trying so hard to make some adjustment within the squad to help the team get back to winning ways after a very poor performance this season, but I still don't think Carrick is the best candidate for the job because he doesn't seem to possess the charisma needed to restore Manchester United back to glory days.
The board might get impressed with Carrick's work especially after such a wonderful performance against Manchester City and decide to keep on permanent because he might never solve the problems at the club because the problem of the club is more of an internal problem(leadership problem at the board) than a problem of tactics(coaching).

Arsenal are just lucky that Manchester city and Aston villa lost their matches, if not it would have been more pressure on them but right now they still stand in a better position in the title race. However, just that Arsenal made a huge mistake against Nottingham forest because it was exactly an easy win for them but they couldn't make it clear and they are still going to face Manchester united this weekend which we are not sure if they can make it through because it's obvious now that Manchester united is back on track.

Two draws is not a good result for Arsenal in the competition, but it is better than what Manchester City who are contending for the title also are playing, in the last five games for Arsenal, they won three and draw two games, while for Manchester City in their last five games also, they won just one, drew three and lost one, despite the little point Arsenal lost in these two games, Manchester  City didn't use it as an advantage, so it doesn't matter, Arsenal are still topping comfortably.

Arsenal are better than Manchester City it can be seen from the results of the match and Arsenal lead the standings, we can conclude this easily, related to the match against Manchester United last against Manchester City I was very impressed with the match brought by Manchester United,

Arsenal performance right now is better than Manchester city, the only problem which am always having with Arsenal is that will they be able to continue with the good performance till ending of the season? Arsenal haven’t been able to win their last two matches, they played draw I just hope the going to bounce back and they going to keep on winning their matches. This is what has been happening to Arsenal in the previous seasons, when the season is about to end or when the team season gets to the middle, they going to start losing points unnecessarily.

This season, Liverpool have become very terrible at dealing with long balls and set-piece situations, and opponents have fully exploited this weakness. van Dijk and Konate have both declined in form this season but still have to play because there are no alternatives.

They no longer have the type of players with strong dribbling and penetration ability to break down teams that sit deep defensively. Last season, Liverpool still had Diaz helping them to some extent but in the summer of 2025, the club let Diaz leave without a worthy replacement. Salah is now only a name, Gakpo is not that type of player, Chiesa lacks fitness and can only play one half while Ngumoha is too young and inexperienced. Tomorrow is a UCl match with Marseille, let's see what happens!

I think this season with the way other clubs are actually playing, the league can be decide with multiple games to go if Arsenal actually wants to win the league like the other past champions have been doing but the problem remains that Arsenal do not capitalize on this point drops by the other title  contenders and that’s what I has made them lose out at wining the league or any trophy in the last few seasons. If Arsenal actually ends up Winning this league I think we all can agree that aside their quality squad and performance they have the added advantage that fellow contenders are in crisis

Yup, they are definitely lacking when it comes to finishing.
If you haven't watched the game and looked only at the stats from their last game against Burnley:



you could have thought it must've been a very high win for Liverpool, but that's not what happened.
I wouldn't blame Szoboszlai for that missed penalty. He tried to hit it in the top corner, but was unlucky and hit the bar.

Liverpool is in big need of an effective striker. Maybe Isak will be able to do the job, but he is expected to be sidelined for a couple of months with his ankle injury.

Arsenal surprised me today because I never expected them to win the match so easy like this they performed very well, with the way things are going Arsenal may just remain unbeaten till the end of champions league which means they may lift the champions league trophy this season, Arsenal is doing well and I commend them for the effort they are putting in champions league and also in their league. Across all competitions Arsenal is doing very well and they will lift trophies this season, I’m very sure they will continue with this form because they have a lot of good players that will always do well there striker V. Gyökeres is now doing well, wonderful goal from him to make it 3, his confidence is coming back and as time goes on he will keep doing better.

I agree that Arsenal were lucky that Manchester City and Aston Villa lost their respective games if not the gap would have been a bit close but now they are comfortably leading with 7 points. However, I argue that Nottingham Forest versus Arsenal match was an easy game, if you watched the game live you will see tension from both teams so it was not an easy game for Arsenal as you said. Yeah, Arsenal will be facing Manchester United in their next match but despite that Manchester United played impressively against Manchester City, it is not a prerequisite that they will do same against Arsenal. It will interest you to know that Arsenal haven't lost at Emirate Stadium for now so i don't see any defeat coming soon for them because they have a solid squad that can handle any team and defeat them honourably.

I believe arsenal will defeat Manchester United in the upcoming match.  especially since arsenal will be playing at home.  manchester united may seem to have bounced back. but I don't think that means they are as strong as Arsenal this season.

Arsenal even managed to defeat one of the best teams in Serie A, Inter Milan, today. Therefore, I am confident enough to favor Arsenal in the match against Manchester United. However, if Manchester United manages to win, then I think Carrick has truly succeeded, and Manchester United may achieve a good ranking this season. The decision to replace Amorim also seems to have been successful if that is indeed the case.

I think is best to say the title race is between Arsenal and Manchester City because no team can come close to these two clubs, their recent performance doesn't tell if they'll drop point especially for the Gunners. For City, they're in the champions league, Fa cup Carabao Cup and also competing for the EPL title, same as Arsenal...the big question is, which of these teams can win at least 3 titles this season? ARSENAL OR Manchester City?

I don’t think either team will win three trophies this season but you’re right, the title is only between Arsenal and Man City. Aston Villa will slip away, they’re not good enough and everybody else is too far away to mount a title challenge now.

I think the January signings of Semenyo and reportedly soon to be completed Guehi  could prove pivotal. I have a feeling Arsenal might choke again, they have form for it.

Is never going to be easy but I don't know how these guys are going to do it but it will definitely happen for one of them to win 3 out of the 4 title this season, can't be too certain of which of the two teams to win at least 3 titles but if you ask me I'd go for Arsenal that's if they keep this team spirit together because City are playing like a confused team that doesn't know how to penetrate the defense of every team they play be you a small side or not they still struggle to even impress their fans. I can't wait to see the Gunners facing the Citizens.

Arsenal did win the Inter game just as you have wished them to. Although, the game against Manchester United might not be a win for them at the Emirate. Manchester United is in good shape. They were better last match because they faced a big side. Coming to Emirate, they will show the same strength because it is a big game. Whenever two big teams face each other, no matter the weakness, the game is always tough. Regardless, Arsenal is still the favorite to win in that fixture. If they are able to win, I will be rest assured the league is theirs.
