Manchester United are very weak in terms of consistency, so I am not too worried about Arsenal. City's weakness also worked as a reason for the win against Manchester City. Their recent performance has been very bad, let's say they have become weak. But Arsenal are not a team this season, they can snatch victory against any team. Since victory against United is important, Arsenal will play at their maximum and get an easy victory. Although Manchester United's unexpected performance leaves room for doubt, I do not see much possibility of anything in this match at least.

Not only is Arsenal just heading to the title, this time, they are even looking unstoppable, they are putting in the needed work to get the trophy this season than with other seasons, I am looking at the chances of them further expanding  the gap by making it upto 10 points, if they are able to achieve that, I will just assume they have got the title already because at that point, they will.need not wait till the actual last game of the season to be surely  they got the trophy as the remaining games at a time can not gwt any team 10 points extra even if they win the remaining if their game, so Arsenal will become to sure they are winning.

Arsenal are really surprising me in a positive way, they are really great players and they have a composure to make sure that they are adapting a lot to the role, these guys are really strong and it was the result of an evolutionary process that is the result of years of work in their Congratulations to them

If only Mikel Arteta should be rooted on that, knowing too well that it's really been a while since Arsenal won any major trophy then I believe something can actually happen either the UEFA Champions League title or the English premier League title I trust one should be theirs this season if only they can work harder on achieving that like their minds should be focused on that then I bet they are good to go because of Mikel Arteta actually fail to win any major trophy for Arsenal this season then I can boldly say he might not remain in that club if he fails to achieve that.

I am not surprised by this decision at all. Because there have been rumors for a long time that amorim will be fired. Amorim gave his best effort. But he was not successful. So it was natural that united would look for a new coach. Now Carrick has been given the responsibility. If he is successful, maybe he will be the  permanent manager of united. If they can win against Arsenal, maybe Carrick's job will be permanent.

For some reason, I thought otherwise and Arsenal should have won easily. Now, let's consider thi,

At that time, Nottingham was playing at home, while Arsenal was away. On the other hand, the 2 teams had previously drawn 0-0 in their previous h2h statistics. It would be perfectly reasonable for Arsenal to achieve the same result. And from 5 home matches, Arsenal have never lost and the worst result is just a draw.

With this, I am more confident that Arsenal will win easily and I will not make MU victory over City something that can cause a surprise against Arsenal.

All observers say this because the management's decision to fire Amorim was long-awaited by many. It seems there hasn't been the slightest change at Manchester United under Amorim. I am very satisfied with Michael Carrick's performance although whether he will become the permanent manager or not is a matter of the past. Regardless of his victory against City many are saying it feels like a rebirth of Manchester United's game. The next match against Arsenal will be Michael Carrick's second in charge. If the match achieves a maximum result it would be perfectly reasonable for the management to appoint Carrick as the permanent manager of Manchester United.

I did pointed this out sometimes ago that the ein against Manchester City is not a satisfactory grounds upon which to think Manchester united is now in a good position to challenge the likes of Arsenal to a win, the best they can get from that game will be a draw which I see the chances to be at about just 20% anyways I will wait till after the game then we can tell what predictions were correct.

Manchester United are unlikely to win against the top teams in the league. They have drawn three consecutive matches and won one match against City. But we think Man United will come out on top against Arsenal. Although their chances of winning are very slim. But they can even draw the match. If United can hold their defense much stronger throughout the match, then they can draw the match. But, it is not possible to say anything really before the match is over. I will enjoy watching the game more.

You have to be worried. Manchester United performance isn’t so good right now, they are not consistent with their performance, you going to see them perform well in some matches, and their performance will drop in some matches, so Manchester United is kind of dangerous right now.

You are right, which he is actually trying his best, people get to understand that there are sometimes things will happen beyond their control and when such thing happen, it will be better to confront them to know what exactly is the problem before passing out judgement.

I think this is very true that Manchester United is facing only one serious problem which is only their not consistent behaviour. I think consistency is the pillar on which the performance of the team is based and this is the guarantee also for anyone to get success in their goals. And I think this is the thing which is necessary in terms of every aspect of the team. Because Manchester United is facing a kind of situation where they are unable to trust anyone . Although this is known by everyone that it takes some time for them to stand strong again. Because they are the team which was destructive due to some of the bad decisions or due to their bad luck. But if they take things wisely and patiently it is not impossible for them to have the best again because they will manage somehow but after being consistent.

Well, the coming Manchester united verses Arsenal match is one that is hard to come up with any reassuring prediction possibly due to the outcome of the match Manchester united played against Manchester city which I believe many of us know that Manchester united managed to beat Manchester city, something that hasn't happened in a while..

The initial poster was mistaken Manchester United for Manchester City, and that actually made me not to understand his point. But talking about Manchester United being inconsistent, it is true but I don't think you should use that to continue measuring Manchester United under Michael Carrick.
At least we should understand that another person is now the head coach of Manchester United. And as far as I are concerned, Manchester United is not inconsistent under Michael Carrick.
Although, we cannot use just one match to determine inconsistency or consistency. Manchester United needs play up to five English Premier League matches under Michael Carrick for conclude if they are still inconsistent or the new manager has change to their story.

Arsenal is a good test for Carrick, there is the talk that the last time that Manchester United under Carrick played against Arsenal, that they won the game, but that is some seasons ago, and Arsenal has much changed from that time till now. The quality of players also differs. Manchester United are going against the title contenders this season, they will need their very best performance. If they are able to win the game against Arsenal, that can give them a big confidence boost going into the remaining part of the season for them to win their games and possibly finish in top four as they will want.

However, that's not the most exciting match of matchday #23, the only interesting match for me is Arsenal - Manchester United. In my case, I'll bet on Arsenal to win if the odds increase to @2.00, so I intend to wait for that to happen. I'll watch the game very carefully. If the game is in the 30s and goalless, and Arsenal's odds reach @2.00, then in that scenario I would bet on Arsenal to win. I know Manchester United improved a lot in their last game, but they were playing against Manchester City, who also lost against a team from a weak league and who weren't even playing regularly, while Arsenal is at the top of the league, plays at home, and has a good defense and a good attack. Honestly, I see Arsenal winning, but with the current odds, I wouldn't bet on them.

It's clearly going arsenal way but it will only a take one moment of disaster for them to fall back to their losing streak hopefully that never comes because so far I think they are the only stabilized team in the premier League as every other team seems to be playing absolutely rubbish and if it continues like this then for sure they will definitely win the premier League this season and a whole lot of us the football fans in general do want them to actually secure the title as they really really deserve the trophy this time around .

When I read some comments, I just wonder how you guys come to these conclusions. Last season, injuries caught up with Arsenal instead of winning games, they started to draw. There was never a time last season when Arsenal was on a losing streak, so I dont know where you get that information from. Arsenal had 11 draws last season with a few losses.

I don't know what is going to be the final result for Manchester united and Arsenal game but one thing I know for certain is that even thought Manchester united may be seen as the inferior team compare to Arsenal due to Arsenal form this season, I doubt if the game will be easy one for Arsenal as most people are anticipating it to be. Arsenal is very much inform no doubt but Manchester united always has a way of making people look embrassed and they always has a way of humbling people and I hope arsenal should not be among those people because there first meeting, arsenal managed to escape.
