I think it is some how too early to rush into conclusions about Michael Carrick. However the team performance has greatly improved there is no doubt about that . They have won three matches in a row which I believe wouldn't have been possible with the former manager. If the team can keep up this performance for the next 3 to 5 matches then  I will believe that the manager was actually a Godsent to Manchester United because He is doing what many managers weren't able to do.

When you said United's successes seem too good it cracked me up because I have been thinking about the same thing, Manchester United have won they're matches consecutively and we can't tell if they can actually keep up these wins. But they have a high chance of winning due to home advantage and their current form but let's see how the game goes.

You’re right, we are not sure if this team will be able to maintain this performance for the rest of the season, Manchester United is kind of team to win and lose at the same time. No , I disagree with you if you said that they where purposely performing that bad to have the ex coach eliminated. You know this poor performance started from last season but it wasn't that obvious reason been that we thought he is making an experiment hoping that he could come up with a different thing this season but he just proved to us that he's a terrible coach, no saying that he's a terrible coach doesn't seem right I think Manchester united is bigger than him so it will be better if he return back to his former club sporting cp  because he's good at coaching sporting cp.

The mentality of the United players to not drop heads after a goal or two is conceded is so refreshing. I have not seen that in a long time, especially when Fulham equalized the second goal.

Kudos to Fulham, the team also performed really well! The only thing I would like Marco and the team to look into is how to switch on after they score a goal, one of those goals was similar to Brighton's disallowed goal. If they can cut out that sloppiness from their game, they will be in a much better position. Raul with one of the best penalty of all time, should have as well been recognized. At the end, Sesko smashed in for Manchester United with an unbelievable finish without even looking! The kid is lethal and hasn't even hit his best yet.

That's a change in the team that I really like. Conceding goals and not losing focus is really a good mentality for the players, it helps the team go forward a lot. The same thing that has been helping Barcelona since Hansi flick took over.
Fulham has always been a good team it's just that sometimes they drop in performance and lose focus. I believe a time will come again that Fulham will gain back their concentration and start performing well again.
Manchester United have improved under Carrick so definitely some players will pickup and improve under him, I just hope Benjamin Sesko is one of the players to pick up. Sesko is a talented player, we are yet to see his best at United but with how play you will see that he has qualities. I just hope he doesn't end as another flop at the club.

Manchester united players cannot purposely perform bad in order to sack their coaches. Players actually do not do that because it indirectly affects them too. Just imagine that Manchester United was performing so badly, will a player like MAINOO have the opportunity to be nominated in the England squad?

City should have scored more goals, I know 2 wasn't enough, but they needed to press for it if they really wanted more, not just controlling and defending for the next 45 minutes. Pep should have brought in marmoush instead, but I kind of understood him from his point of view; he needed him more in the EPL cup semi finals against Newcastle, where he almost scored a hat trick.

Donnarumma and cherki are the only 2 players who have been consistent. So I suggest Pep makes an adjustment in his strategy, focus more on deep passes and crosses, rather than right-to-left, left-to-right, and back passes. City's weakness is their high defensive line. Opponents often find it easy to penetrate between their defenders, and this is the main reason Manchester City are conceding goals.

Tottenham hotspur players aren't sophisticated after all, so I guess with Manchester United's newly found strength, they have a very good edge over Tottenham and are likely, very much likely to win the match, playing home in this coming match is nothing but an added advantage.

Tottenham hotspur is also a team that doesn't know how to challenge a big and tough team, they easily succumb to conceding goals.
