I had this guys that the game might end in draw even before it started.
When a team is leading with one goal and have to suffer a red card resulting to their shortage in number there's bound to be pressure on them but going to seat back and totally be defending wouldn't really help but add more pressure from the opponent because the ball would always be in their possession. Chelsea shouldn't have lean back to defending, in a way they would have tried to maintain the equal possession of the ball but it seems they were just playing to secure the 1 goal than adding to their lead. The 1:1 draw doesn't look ood on Chelsea as it does for Burnley on the table.

Thr ideology to sub a defender to cover the lapse was okay but not when you are leading with just a goal and out of everyone he chose Tosin, the better option was to introduce control, dominate more of the ball roughly 20 minutes is not a long time and they just bottled it. Bringing in a defender just provided Burnley an avenue to attack more, opting for continous box defense and clearance.

If Chelsea where to draw or lose points, it shouldn't be against Burnley, they have other fierce fixtures that they could potentially drop points for.

Am disappointed myself, and I don't know if it was due to pressure from the unexpected red card that made the coach to arrive that substitute to change the game from attacking mode to a defensive mode which surely leaves the ball to the hands of Burnley at every clearance Chelsea makes at each pressing to their goal box by Burnley.

Winning the games against small teams and struggling for a draw at least with equal matched opponents should have made sense with the fee games left but here's Chelsea making things difficult for them in securing a spot in the top 4 with all the intense competition there.

It's such an intense game against Newcastle, but my club finally made it. I have mixed feelings as it's often our buildup stopped and completely falls apart, then missed momentum to score. There was a chance when Haaland could make it three, but sadly he misses it. But w is w.
We're two points behind Arsenal, and i feel my team can make it to the 1st at the end of season. Hopefully, my dream will coming true.

It was a very crunch game against Newcastle tonight.City dominated the first half and had more chances of scoring goals. The young defender Nico O'Reilly came up front and scored two goals in the first half to keep the title race on.But the second half arriving, Newcastle started pressing high up the pitch and had more chances in the second half but City where able to hold and grab three points at home again.I think the January signings are playing so good to get their hands on the trophy,Guehi's arrival boosted the morale of City's defence as well as Semenyo undieing appetite for goals clinched City's offence as well.

I also noticed the new tactics Guardiola is applying,The offside trap.I noticed it in their last 3 games,the defence are always playing their opponent offside,that is unusual of Mancity,thou it's a good tactic i must say.The only hinderence Guardiola has in recording his 7th premier league title for Mancity should be Arsenal.

I'm not happy seeing that Manchester City is wining Newcastle tonight because that will mean serious problems for Arsenal who I want to win the league if not for anything but for their effort this season. They have done well if mot of the misfortune that is affecting them now just like other seasons. I had wanted a situation where they break that huddle that have prevented them from winning the premier league for a very long time now despite them playing one of the best football in England.

Your love for Arsenal should not make you wish Manchester City bad because Arsenal deserves what they are getting now because they failed to make good use of their chances when they were consistent and other teams were losing but they ended up losing the point when they most needed it. Now the gap is reduced to points with Arsenal having difficult games to play the only thing that could stop Manchester City from winning the league is if they make another mistake that will lead Arsenal to taking more points ahead of them .

Hahaha now almost everyone is thinking about the Arsenal curse which always repeats in previous seasons, somehow Arsenal always play badly when it gets close to the end of the season even though previously Arsenal played very well. I'm not saying Arsenal will repeat it again this season, it's just that we can see indications of it, but yeah we can't predict for sure since the Premier League still has a few matches left meaning anything can happen. I personally still consistently hope that Arsenal can win the title this season by any ways.

It was just false hope for Arsenal to have expected Newcastle to win or draw Manchester City. Manchester City obviously know the job they’ve got to do and have gone about doing it as it is. With O’Reilly coming from the backlines to score goals for Manchester City, keeping them on the frontlines and making sure Newcastle United don’t have the chance to get back in on the game. Arsenal is in trouble on this one, it’s going to be 2 points behind at the end of this.

In as much as Manchester City understood what was at stake and have their ways around it almost always, it was very possiblethe game could have been a draw and could have also been lost but then Manchester City was just too smart about it and for Arsenal that eas not good news as their probable hopes for the title seem to be going far away gradually from them.

It is a very normal feeling for every passionate fan to wish the result of a game to go in their favor, so I don’t think they wish City bad in any form. Arsenal had the lot’s of opportunities to give a good gap on top of the table, but they just kept blowing the chances and never took advantage of them, now the story is beginning to have another angle for them. Arsenal just need to make sure they win all their upcoming tough matches and hope to God City drops some points along the way.

I feel sorry for Arsenal fans who are depending on Newcastle to cause Manchester city damage today. Manchester city are build for resilience and thrive in hard matches. Newcastle will lose this match because Manchester city know what is at stake here.

It is still not a lost hope for Arsenal because Newcastle can still score, they already equalized but it was offside.

I'm glad such stupid hope didn't play out. Arsenal already gambled with their opportunity to get much ahead on the table and now they're relying on hope that Manchester City loses points, what a pitiable state they've found themselves in. Guardiola has his eye on the title now and I don't see what's stopping him unless Arsenal maintains optimal performance and never drops a point, else the possibility of losing the title again is high.

If they lose the title this time with their squad depth, I'm very much in support of Arsenal parting ways with Arterta. It's due time they took a better decision on the team's future.

The match was really about to end up terribly for city but they were able to win, they are now two points away from Arsenal, the only hope arsenal has right now is to win Tottenham because if they don't it's going to be really messed up for them. Arsenal will seriously be having one of the toughest weeks to come because they push themselves into that zone, two wins from a seven run of games and seven points from possible twenty one points at this critical period of time should definitely be enough to stop any club winning the league in my opinion. Arsenal actually shot themselves against those relegation threatened clubs.

But yet the real test is even now because a game to bitter rivals Tottenham and following up with another to a bitter rival again Chelsea is not just what they need now because both of this clubs will be happy to end their title hopes

I sensed it after the red that Burnley might stop Chelsea from winning the game. I don't know why Chelsea decided to play parking the bus game pattern because it didn't favor them instead, it gave their visitors the upper hand to attack them aggressively. Honestly, Chelsea was lucky that they didn't lose all three points because the second header from James Ward-Prowse went a little bit higher above the crossing bar.

Chelsea is truly a confuse club because how would they be relying on such a defenders and be expecting to challenge for silverware?

Situation is annoying to fans of Chelsea as they expect to win cups but their performance is poor in terms of defense, having no strong leader and right plan. Although they have one of worst defending histories in league, they spent the money on midfielders in January other than to get top defender, which shows that they are more interested in future value of player than winning this season. Instead of tested expert, who has been there and done it, bringing back Malang Sarr is sign of lack of experience as team needs steady and calm leader to bring order to backline instead of young players who are still learning. This was clear in their final match where defense turned into open road to opponent upon getting red card where numbers showed that they had totally lost shape and it is through help of lucky goalkeeping that they had not completely lost. Chelsea at end cannot afford to depend on only luck to keep them safe and unless huge change is done with their defense, they will never be able to win anything.

I also don't understand Arsenal,, because if this is a coincidence, why has the same scheme been repeated for several seasons? Because since Arsenal was coached by Arteta, they actually experienced a fairly good increase in performance, but unfortunately towards the end of the season Arsenal's performance always suddenly declined. So I also don't know for sure what factors caused all this to happen to Arsenal. Because if this is really due to mentality, why are the new players also affected? So that's why I think it's natural that many people call this all a curse for Arsenal.

But even so,, I'm sure there is a reason for all of this, it's just that Arteta doesn't seem to be able to clearly understand this. Besides,, even though Arsenal's performance is currently declining again, I hope Arsenal can become champions this season. Because it's quite a shame if Arsenal can't become champions now, because they haven't been able to win the Premier League trophy for a long time. So if Arsenal can't win in the Premier League anymore,, I think that's really bad, and people will be more and more likely to say that this is a curse.

The competition between Man City vs Newcastle was really tight because both teams played very well but unfortunately Newcastle finally lost with a score of 2-1 because Man City played better than Newcastle. Now Man City has got 3 points and now Man City only has a difference of 2 points from Arsenal and Man City's victory against Newcastle is definitely a threat to Arsenal because currently Man City can be said to have not decreased its performance is still stable. But unfortunately in this Man City vs Newcastle match Haaland did not score even though he had a good chance but yes because Newcastle's tight defense made it difficult for Haaland to score and Haaland in this match he could only make an assist and fortunately it could be utilized by O Reilly, O Reilly was really great in this match because he scored 2 goals in this match. Now if Man City can continue to win consistently it seems like he could potentially become champions this season.

At this point, a true arsenal fan already knows that Arsenal has bottled the title again. Manchester city doesn't stop amazing every one. Thei last game against Newcastle was narrowly escaped as they almost got a draw too as Aston villa and Chelsea. Manchester city tried proofing their class even though Newcastle equalised the first goal in less than 10 minutes, Manchester city still go the lead back in 5 minutes time. The game stats wasn't bad, Manchester city will 56 and Newcastle with 44 ball possession. Most interestingly, Manchester had a total of 7 shots on target while Newcastle had 6.

For me, there was no dominance in the game; only luck shined on Manchester city. Aston villa and Chelsea drew their games to make it easier for Manchester United to find their way up. At this point, winning Everton becomes non negotiable if they must keep the hope alive both in the title race and the top 4 battle. I would add that Manchester United is winning the game by 1-3 by tomorrow.
