I really expected that this Chelsea team would have learned from their previous Red card mistakes by now but they seem to be stuck on it, even now that a new manager has come in the same situation keep occurring. Chelsea have lost many points in games they were leading or supposed to win due to red card. Drawing at home against Burnley is not really acceptable for Chelsea standard and now they found themselves in a very difficult position in the league table and at this point of the season any little slip could be very detrimental for a champions league qualification. Their next premier league game is against Arsenal at the Emirates which is not going to be an easy game for Chelsea and they will be lucky to escape with a draw in that game if not they are losing it entirely and that will inflict more woes for the team.

Red cards can sometimes disturb the balance of the game and this often happens to certain clubs, I myself also did not expect Burnley to score a goal in the last minute of the extra time, it was indeed a crucial moment, Chelsea had defended with 1 goal until the last minute which was a pity that Chelsea could not maintain that advantage until it opened a gap for Burnley. Michael Carick have been there the entire time of hiring and firing of coaches so I believe he knew what was missing in the team which was why it did not take him long to put the team on track and started getting results. His previous role in the club may not be directly regarded as experience but as a former footballer who played actively for the club, I think passion and the United spirit helped him a lot. I hope that he is confirmed as their manager as soon as possible because he has proven to be the answer they have been looking for against the expectations of most of us.

What Carrick is doing is incredible and totally unexpected. Even Middlesborough weren't doing this good, and he somehow turned United into a beast. They are doing wonderful and they haven't lost in so many games and they are now fighting for a third place.

Title run is impossible right now because Carrick started too late, but he is still doing fine enough that the team could spend more money on the summer to give him a better squad so he can maybe have a shot at the title next season. They've found excellent form, and if they maintain it, their Champions League qualification is almost guaranteed. They've managed to beat every big team, most recently winning away at Everton. I think the best decision for Manchester United this year was sending Amorim away and bringing in Carrick. So far, everything is going well and positively. They're still undefeated under their new manager. Creating such an impact with the same players is almost a miracle. I don't think that the mentality of the players on the field can be changed based on the intentions of the fans on social media. And in every football match, everyone is under pressure. When it comes to the top teams of the club, it becomes even more . Especially expectations, media, points table, these things put the players under mental pressure. But if some small social media issue puts pressure on the performance of the game. It means that the team lacks mental strength. The players are focused on the game on the field and they don't keep all these social media issues in mind.

Its not so much about strategy, but about how bad Tottenham is at the moment. On top of bad form, they have a big problem with injuries. Add on that new coach Tudor who changed the way Tottenham defend (under Frank Spurs played with 4 in the back, while Tudor switched to 3, and you get what we saw last night.

Anything expect a comfortable win would have been a big surprise given the situation.

Tottenham is certainly a great team that can do great things, but they have suffered some serious injuries, this greatly penalises the way the team plays and they are unable to win certain matches because these are serious problems that affect a team, I don't think this is good for the fans.

Tottenham is a good team but they are not performing well this season and they were not able to perform well in the previous season either. They sometimes perform very well and we call them very good because of that performance. But if we look at Tottenham's last few matches then we can see how badly Tottenham has performed and how angry their fans are at them at the moment. Especially Tottenham's defense is in a very bad situation, their defense needs to be strengthened very quickly.

A lot of people said Carrick isn't experienced enough to coach the team but so far he has achieved what a lot of those before him couldn't.  No one talks about the fact that Manchester United hasn't lost a single game since he stepped in. perhaps he his not as experienced as other managers but his strategies are very effective. Manchester United would definitely finish in the top four and perhaps qualify for UCL next season.

The chances of Manchester United qualifying for the Champions League next season is very high because their performance has been extraordinary since Carrick took over as the coach. In their last six matches, Manchester United have won five matches with a draw. I think if they keep the momentum which it's possible, UCL spot is guaranteed. As for winning the Champions League that's a story for another time.

For now it's five points gap that separate them from Manchester City, but if Manchester City won their game at hand, it's going to reduce to just two points.
As it stands now, it's only arsenal and wolves that have played 28 games each, while the rest of other English premier League teams has only played 27 games, so with the harbit of arsenal always throwing away the league title when they are in a position they would have won if they were more consistent, I wouldn't be that too surprised if they also bottles this one because the signs are there that they might do the same this season.
