Manchester united loss to Newcastle that were 10 men down is really embarrassing, Manchester united didn't have any excuse not to win that game. Sincerely speaking Newcastle held on till the end, though in most part of the game, they were literally defensive because of the pressure on them, but that die minute goal gave them all they ever needed. Manchester united will likely retain there position, however I believe Michael Carrick will definitely come up with something.

In fact, this defeat for Man United was not desirable because the team had made a good comeback under the interim manager, but suddenly their rhythm has dropped and as far as I know Man United lost to Newcastle today after going undefeated in the home match under the interim coach. The big hurdles ahead of Newcastle are the fifth round of the FA Cup and the first and second legs of the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League, Looking at their statistics, we can say that they are ready to be positive against Barcelona in the Round of Sixteen of the Champions League.

Arsenal are currently 7 points ahead of Manchester City at the top of the EPL points table. If Manchester City had collected their full points against Forest, they would have certainly moved ahead and reduced the gap with Arsenal. But due to the draw in the match, the two teams shared the points and this created a challenging situation for Manchester City. Currently, the 7-point gap is too high and it will not be easy to catch Arsenal in the points table at this time as the City team will have to stay close to Arsenal to win the trophy. This defeat pulls Manchester United back to a fact that they still have many problems and weakness and with the ending of honeymoon with Carrick, they will have to return to a very stressful and tough competition with several other clubs, Aston Villa, Liverpool and Chelsea for two positions (third and fourth) in top four. They still have advantage compares to Liverpool and Chelsea but three points is not a too big and safe difference for them while both Liverpool and Chelsea have enough ability to take over that position of Manchester United in last 9 matches.

Tottenham won the away match against crystal palace. But they performed badly again in today's home match. Although tottenham scored the first goal of the match, they fell behind 3-1  in the first half. Crystal palace played a bit defensively in the  second half and secured the victory in the match.

Tottenham could also drop into the relegation zone and it would be really painful to see such a good team relegated so badly, even if there are some victories it doesn't seem to me that they want to do well and want to go on to do even better than this, they are trying in every way to find an excuse it seems to me.

If Son or Kane still stayed, they would have help them escaped from the relegation battle. They have someone to play a key role as a leadership.

I can’t remember his name but I think he doesn’t really want Manchester United to break the 5 consecutive wins record. Personally, I don’t care about his silly haircut, the young man is just chasing clout with the club’s fanbase. I don’t know why United fans encourage him. Antics like this doesn’t help the team perform better, it just stands as a reminder to the players of what they have not been able to achieve.

That guy doesn't really want Manchester United to win, because if United win, his popularity will plummet. I disagree with the idea that they played too badly. They played brilliantly in the first half. They didn't play as aggressively from the beginning of the second half, that's right. I think one of the strategies of Man United's players was to play defensively rather than attacking. But their strategy was proven wrong in the 90 minutes of the match. When Newcastle scored their second goal and Man United were certain to lose. Man United worked hard in the match but Newcastle's defence was strong and they were very organised and disciplined in their play. Because in the first half they had one of their players sent off and in this situation they played impressively with 10 men and won.

Look at Man City recent result against Nottingham Forest and it annoys me because a draw isn't something to be proud of. Arsenal have played 30 games, while Man City have only played 29, a difference of just one game. Considering Man City busy schedule, it could affect the players performance.

However, that was a winning point fought for by the Newcastle players. The closing goal was indeed due to a mistake by the United defender who was too focused on attacking near the end of the match. A gap was created, and Newcastle took advantage of the opportunity to win the match. United is still in 3rd place in the standings with the same points as Aston Villa. United must work hard to secure their position in the top 4 of this season's Premier League standings.
