It really baffles me how all English premier league teams none could won any of their games in the UEFA champions league this week like this is actually my first time experiencing this kind of humiliation in the league like it was so embarrassing and now i can boastfully tell that teams like Manchester city, Chelsea, Tottenham , Newcastle United, and probably Liverpool, are all out of the UEFA champions league it's only Arsenal that is left with a little hope that is if they will be focus on what they are doing because with what i saw i don't think Bayern Leverkusen is their to play childs play so Arsenal should be ready for them else they will have themselves to blame

The premier league have 6 teams qualified to round of 16 in Champion League but not any one team winning the match with Arsenal and Newcastle United get better result by playin draw. I think three premier league team Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City at slim opportunity opportunity for qualifying next round after losing three margin goals at first leg match.

I doubt any premier league will qualify to round of 16 in Champion League for this season after having bad performance in first leg match, but Arsenal seems the only one team has great chance by playing at home for second leg match against Leverkusen.

Consider the current situation and consider the past season, the teams that are likely to perform well are mainly performing poorly. Not only in the UEFA Championship but also in the Premier League, teams are performing poorly, so betting on these Premier League teams is currently a very dangerous situation. Come to think of it, I think the issue of having a tight schedule could really be a factor why most of this premier league teams underperformed during their champions league round of 16 matches, most especially for the game between Chelsea and Paris saint Germain. And it will still be a more worrisome situation for Chelsea heading to their second leg at Stamford Bridge. PSG players will be fully rested because they won’t be playing any league match this weekend meanwhile Chelsea still have to play a very important game in the premier league this weekend against Newcastle and then still play on Tuesday for the champions league return leg against a fully rested PSG side. It’s really going to be difficult for Chelsea in this kind of situation

It is not a good week for the Premier League teams and that has also caused a debate between some fans that the Spanish La Liga teams are better than Premier League, the reason why the debate started is because majority of people said that Premier League is very entertaining to watch and If Real Madrid and Barcelona are playing in the Premier League they will not make it to the top four, two La Liga teams have 80% of qualifying to quarter final and the only Premier League team that is capable of qualifying for quarter final is Arsenal because they are the one that shows that they can beat Leverkusen.

Football is unpredictable and we should know that anything can happen but we allow to be deceived because of our favourite teams, Premier League is good to watch but when you want to watch beautiful football you need to watch La Liga and any time La Liga teams play against premier league teams they always use their intensity to win and get an early goal in the match, Premier League teams also depend of set pieces to score goal and that is not how to win a game.

The most interesting thing is that 6 Premier League teams have qualified for the Round of 16. This is the highest number. But none of the 6 teams have won. This is a huge shame for the premier league.

Chelsea, City and Tottenham lost their matches by 3 goals. It is almost certain that all three of these teams are going to be eliminated in the Round of 16, unless a miracle happens in the second half. On the other hand, newcastle managed to share points with Barcelona in the home match. But they are more likely to lose at Camp Nou. Only arsenal have a chance of qualifying for the quarter-finals. Liverpool's performance has been inconsistent.

in my opinion, Haaland will find his form again or at least that's what I'm hoping for. he is a real unique talent. With his great physical power clinical finishing and exceptional off the ball ability, he’s a player i really like. he manages to be both highly successful and remarkably humble and disciplined.

The way Erling Haaland use to score before has reduced so drastically and I don't know what is the problem, Manchester city new signings semenyo and co has been doing way better than Haaland, Haaland is a striker that use to score in almost every match and sometimes hat trick. Though Manchester city overall performance has been very poor but yet that should not stop him from scoring and sometimes I don't remember he exist or if he is still at Manchester city because his name has been silenced.

That's why,, honestly, I'm quite worried about the second leg too, because if Arsenal plays like this in the second leg, it could be difficult for Arsenal to win again. So that's why Arsenal needs to play more pressing in the upcoming second leg. Because I think that's an effective way to overwhelm the Leverkusen players and not have time to plan attacks. It was not something which was just particular about Arsenal alone it was more of a general ‘I dont know what to call it’ maybe bad luck to the entire league at the champions league games. Like you mentioned, Arsenal has a great chance to finish this completion with them by beating them at home since the first leg was played on away. By the team Arsenal brings Leverkusen home, they should be able to make a statement on them which should normally be the only thing we are expecting from the Arsenal side now.

Yes, it's been a truly bad week for the Premier League. They have the most representatives in the Champions League Round of 16, but none of them have won their first leg. While some still have a chance to advance, I think City, Chelsea, and Tottenham will be eliminated in the second leg. They lost by a big scoreline, and it's difficult to come back as their opponents are the best teams in their leagues. The only good news is Newcastle, who managed to hold Barcelona to a draw. Tottenham's current situation is truly worrying,, as they were nearly relegated last season, and this season's situation is no different. Tottenham is currently in 16th place in the Premier League,, which is clearly a very bad situation for a team of their stature. Tottenham also performed poorly in the Champions League, as they were thrashed by Atletico Madrid yesterday with a huge scoreline. This clearly shows that Tottenham's performance hasn't improved,, and the management doesn't seem to care much about their team's condition.

As we know,, Tottenham's performance has been like this for two seasons, so this season they shouldn't repeat their poor performance. But perhaps because the team is like that, a team with no one to manage it, Tottenham is like this. I think if it's like this,, Tottenham could be relegated this season. And I'm sure that once Tottenham are relegated, everything will be revealed behind the current Tottenham management.

I also don't understand Tottenham's current situation. As last season's Europa League champions, Tottenham should have performed very well in the UCL, but unfortunately, they couldn't build their strengths better, and this is how things turned out. Yes, if Tottenham continues like this, there is a potential for relegation this season. Currently, the points gap between Tottenham and teams in the relegation zone like West Ham is not far apart, so Tottenham should certainly be wary.

It's unimaginable that Tottenham were relegated this season. Many Tottenham fans would be disappointed. Hopefully, Tottenham can improve their performance again.

Sometimes i keep wondering why they keep saying the English premier league is better than the Spanish la liga mean while this La Liga teams has proven themselves more worthy when they meet in the UEFA champions league, or should i say the English premier league is not a two teams league as the Spanish la liga is being dominated by Real Madrid and Barcelona year in year out, but in actual sense that is quite boring because when once a season start we already knew who is going to win the league either Barcelona or Real Madrid, truth be told that is boring, but when it comes to the English premier league you will even see the underdog teams contesting for the league and you will see the stronger teams even struggling to make it to the top four so with this in as much as Spanish teams plays more beautiful football i still agree the fact that English premier league is still the best and the toughest.

In my opinion, they don't have many shortcomings in attack. Because both the wingers and Håland are adding strength to Manchester City with their magnificent performances. Chelsea tried, there performance was good and they even equalised PSG's goals and looked like they would win at some point if not that Enrique made the right subs that helped changed the game for PSG. I wasn't surprised at the final score, it's something I expected that PSG would do. Chelsea's keeper also played a role to why they lost that match. Some errors where uncalled for especially the one that lead to Vitinha's goal.

This is true because I never believed that Manchester United will get to the point were they currently are in the premier League table considering there poor performance under Ruben Armorim as the coach. However,with the new coach Michael Carrick there has been so many improvements in the team and just like you said they will definitely make more points before the season ends.

Manchester United have a good chance of establishing  their position in third place as they face Aston Villa this week. Manchester United have the advantage of playing at home, so if they  can capitalise on that, they can put Aston Villa under pressure throughout the match. In addition, Manchester United also has another  advantage, as Aston Villa has such a packed schedule (they’ve just played in the Europa League, and there’s still the second leg next week), whilst Manchester United only  has the Premier League match. So, physically, Manchester United are in better fitness than Aston Villa.

I don't know who'll qualify among the two teams but arsenal has advantage here, I hope the capitalize on that.
