It's very bad for Chelsea. i honestly didn't expect this fall, and yet this team has so much potential, so much good potential.
Aston Villa are doing well, i see them improving, and Manchester United are also doing well, having emerged from the dark years.

That's normal for teams in the Premier League because of the very tight competition, for this season the Premier League only has 4 tickets for the Champions League so one of Liverpool and Chelsea must lose the opportunity, it's different from last season when they had 5 UCL tickets. For Aston Villa as I said before, I think this season they will finish outside the top 4 especially since their performance has been very bad lately which means opening up the opportunity for Liverpool or Chelsea to take over. The current spotlight is on Tottenham, who are experiencing poor performance and are even approaching the relegation zone, luckily they were able to draw against Liverpool.
Seeing what’s happened to Chelsea is actually quite surprising. At the start of the season, they looked quite promising—in fact, they were a far cry from Manchester United at the time. But now we’re seeing the opposite: Manchester United has bounced back, while Chelsea is once again experiencing a dip in form.

As for Aston Villa, they too seem likely to lose their spot in the top four. their recent form has been completely unreliable. But Liverpool isn’t in great shape either right now, so it’s hard to expect much from them.
However, the most concerning situation this season is indeed with Tottenham. They’ve even slipped into a rather dangerous zone for their team, as they could easily be dragged into the relegation zone.

It is understandable if you didn't expect Manchester United to be in their position because their performance last season and the position they finished last season in the Premier League table made a lot of football fans lose hope on Manchester United, but with the help of Michael Carrick, Manchester United surprisingly rise to fame and made it to the third position. Manchester United are showing a good progress under Michael Carrick, and with the way they have performed so far there is nothing stopping them from qualifying for next season Champions League.
Carrick is a blessing to the Manchester United at this point in time because it has helped propel the team beyond the expectations of many of us who are football lovers including their fans. If not for Carrick, Manchester United would have probably still be in shambles. I just really hope the management won't disappoint him by given him the necessary support he needs particularly after seeing he's a smart guy whom when properly supported would take the team to its glory. Manchester United is currently seating at the third position of the table standard and I have little worries for them dropping below the 4th position looking at how very consistent they have demonstrated since Carrick assisted in gaining the balance. They have been able to compete strongly with the A level teams including Arsenal Manchester City Aston Villa and they were able to beat these clubs.

Arsenal and Man City have secured there position for UCL but for third and forth spot the contest is still very much open between United, Villa, Liverpool and Chelsea. Last time five teams from English premier league qualified for UCL and thats because EPL earned "European Performance Spot" that allowed an extra team to qualify for UCL. From ongoing season, only 4 teams will qualify for UCL and it be interesting to see which two teams apart from Arsenal and City will qualify for UCL.

Carrick does his best by creating simpler strategies and not sticking to just one. He truly maximizes the potential of his players and creates the right combinations, such as Bruno, Cunha, Casemiro, and Mbeumo. He always places them in the right positions and adapts to the opponent. That's why it's sometimes a bit more difficult for opponents to read their strategies. And don't forget they also have Steve Holland, who helps Carrick analyze and provide input on their strategies. This is what I think has made United's performance better than before.

I didn't expect Manchester United to be in 3rd place because last season they finished 15th. Considering Manchester United's current strength, I think there's potential for Manchester United to qualify for the Champions League next season. But do you think Manchester United will continue to play consistently well?

It must be admitted that Manchester United have surprisingly achieved fame with the help of Michael Carrick and we can see that they are in third place after winning in the 30th round. Actually, this position has been held by Aston Villa for a long time but last night Manchester United and Aston Villa faced each other in the round that you may have already noticed but from what I saw, Man United beat Villa 3-1 in that game, which has now put them one step further. However, at this stage it appears that Man United's opponents next weekend in the 31st round are Bournemouth and this game is an away match for this team and my believe now the worrying situation in their performance is decreasing.

Arsenal and Manchester city is so certain even Manchester united is also somehow certain because we can actually see it in their performance and game play, Manchester united is 3 points ahead of Aston villa and Liverpool and 6 points ahead of Chelsea so I think Manchester united qualifying for champions league is sure unless they joke with it later. I was thinking they have changed it that, 5 teams will always qualify in premier league but if it is 4 teams then it is going to be really hot because this is dieing minute.

You wanted the worse for the club on the ruling which is what has made you write with such disappointment. The FA in their wisdom has made their ruling and if it does not met your expectations you still have to accept it.

Points substraction may have appeased you more than a ban on academy team transfer. right? But the £10.7 million fine is not a cheap change just cause you are of the thought that Chelsea can simply afford it.

Manchester city case is different from Chelsea's and I'm convinced that the ruling for Manchester city will not be as that of Chelsea which you are in your tune unpleased with.

If judged on performance, I think Manchester United has a better chance of accompanying Arsenal and Manchester City to the Champions League next season. Liverpool and Aston Villa will certainly be in fierce competition for one of the places, but Manchester United are now more convincing than the other two. Two of those three teams will definitely qualify, but Chelsea will also be in the race if they can improve their performance. For now, Chelsea doesn't really convince me to win a ticket to the Champions League next season, but who knows what will happen in the rest of the season.

That brilliance in positioning that Carrick does, has helped them a whole lot than we can imagine, maybe this was one of the tactics others did failed at and it cost them their job. It is clear now that players were not exactly the problem of Manchester United but tactics and the tactics of the coach that has not been okay with the players enough.  I just wish Carrick is able to continue in this with some more consistency and by next season, they will be aiming bigger.

The impact of Michael Carrick is very obvious and impressive,
It's quite funny how Chelsea also changed coach like the same time with Manchester United, but Chelsea on the other hand have honestly made a decline in performance since the Chang of their coach,
This is to tell you that changing coach wouldn't sove the problem, it is changing to the RIGHT coach that males the difference.
And now that Tottenham is considering a change of coach, if I was with them I will personally advice them to not rush in their decision, they should stay calm and search for the right person that will be a good coach for them, it's not just to sack their present coach, it is to put in a right coach.

Carrick proved to be a very good manager, and we saw that when he was given the opportunity. Manchester United reached a completely different level under him. They beat every team and climbed to third place in the league after Amorim left. I think the management's most successful decision was the manager. We all witnessed how a manager can elevate a team to a higher level.

I agree because seeing what Carrick is doing is actually not too complicated in terms of the scheme where they only emphasize the scheme in midfield but the difference with the previous coach is when Carrick gives freedom to their players to be creative in midfield.

Casemiro is always lined up as a player who must be prepared for the opponent's attack but that actually makes Bruno a good playmaker to flow the ball because the defense position is quite comfortable and the Mainoo Bruno duo is used as a reference for the initial attack where Mainoo is more often making players bother with his speed and Bruno with his passes making the midfield more complex.

This is also effective for the attacking line as they only need to wait for the ball to be supplied so they are comfortable even with multiple schemes in a match.

It's a clever scheme because they don't always speed on both sides but the midfield role with Bruno as a playmaker also makes Manchester United's attack more lively.

It is clear now that players were not exactly the problem of Manchester United but tactics and the tactics of the coach that has not been okay with the players enough.  I just wish Carrick is able to continue in this with some more consistency and by next season, they will be aiming bigger.

I think this is a big evidence that management of a team has a really big role to play in the success of that team because if they had told me that Manchester United would be actually third position with the way they were playing I wouldn't have believed it but since Carrick came in he has successfully changed the entire set up of the whole team and with the same set of players too.

Manchester United has shown class against Aston villa and I would say that their result was more shocking especially as it ended in first half draw.
Honestly, this is a Manchester United team that has truly shown how tough they are. The manager is undoubtedly the architect of their success, in my opinion. I think things will only get better if they keep going like this. They're in a qualifying position, and Liverpool should watch out if they lose too many games in a row, because Manchester United doesn't believe in anyone. I honestly didn't know this team would have such a tremendous recovery when just a few seasons ago they were playing really badly.

Are you talking of few seasons ago? Man united started this season so badly i wish they have appointed Michael Carrick earlier before now Man united would have been competing the title now with Arsenal. Man united was already getting to same position they finish last season before Carrick came and tremendously charge the club, outside losing 2-1 to Newcastle last week Michael Carrick has either won or draw all matches as Man united new coach. Man united was in 7th position with 32 points before Carrick took over and now the club is currently sitting 3rd position with 54 points i believe this is a great transformation by Micheal Carrick he has qualify Man united for the champions league next season.

In my opinion this fine is like a slap on the wrist because it could have been a lot worse. A 9 month academy transfer ban is ridiculous, and won’t even affect the club. It’s unfair!

Judging by this, I can guess what punishment the FA will give Manchester City when they are found guilty.

I’m not bitter, just surprised they didn’t get points deductions. Chelsea are paying for their past sins, and according to reports they received a lesser punishment because they reported themselves to the FA. Regardless, Chelsea still has to face 74 charges from the FA, so that could possibly increase their “punishment”.

Maybe why they did not have any point reduction is because it was majorly about finance and youth offenses, maybe they thought the crimes did not affect how they did on field that season or it did not affect that much to give them point deduction.
I am not surprised that youth issues are involved in those charges because there was a time Chelsea had more players youths especially than they needed.

That brilliance in positioning that Carrick does, has helped them a whole lot than we can imagine, maybe this was one of the tactics others did failed at and it cost them their job. Am still very much shocked to the wonders that Carrick has done with this club, I mean he has changed the entire settings and playing mentality of the club which is something so many coaches even with higher standards have tried even with better set of players but yet they have failed but he achieved all this within a short period although I would still like to give credit to amorim because he did a major flush in players within the team that helped removed so many players with too much ego.

The premier league club to finish top 4.

Arsenal 99%

Mancity 98%

MU 83%

Liverpool 50%

Aston Villa 42%

Chelsea 34%

That's top PL clubs change to finish at the top 4. It's quite surprising me how Villa and Chelsea have been regressing so hard since the middle of season. it seems injury and coaching change changed their performance a lot. So i think Villa and Chelsea may not play in UCL next season.

They are always so hard in winning the games. It's hard for them to catch up top 4 with only 7 games remaining. So i think they will finish without UCL spots in their hand. It's absolutely horrendous result when they already spent a lot to built their club last summer window.

It's very bad for Chelsea. i honestly didn't expect this fall, and yet this team has so much potential, so much good potential.
Aston Villa are doing well, i see them improving, and Manchester United are also doing well, having emerged from the dark years.

Chelsea management believe that, winning a title is by signing every player in the market. I believe at this point, they don’t understand the purpose of signing some players. Manchester United wanted to sign Delap after Ipswich got relegated to the championship, but Chelsea overtake them to signed him only because he had some good impact in their Premier League matches last season. I’m still wondering why they continue to struggle with all these players.

Manchester United have a high chance of maintaining their position for the rest of the games, they are currently 6 points ahead of Chelsea and 5 points ahead of Liverpool. If someone predicted that Manchester United would be in the top four this season, I would disagree with it, because of the performance they showed in the beginning of the season.

We are all shocked with the improvement of the team under Carrick no one expected that a manager like Carrick without any serious experience will be the one to turn things around for them. I will say I am so impressed with their performance right now, I can't imagine the feeling the fans will be having after they have gone through a lot of disappointing results under different managers.

It's a short period of time but the improvement is worth it because they are finally going to qualify for the champions league after missing out for a while. Most of the time past Manager do play part in the improvement when new coach arrives. They help arrange the squad better but they are not able to use them to higher productivity.
