What do you expect him to say? There are still 8 weeks left in the season, should he admit that they can't become champions? As long as they have a mathematical chance, they are still in the race. When a club falls behind a competitor with 6 points or 9 points, it's never easy to race with that competitor even with very good consistency. Because it depends on the competitor's performances and consistency, so Manchester City even win all remaining matches can not do anything if Arsenal won't have inconsistent performances in 9 matches ahead.

If Arsenal won't lose points, whether Manchester City perform consistently with winnings or not, it will no longer be important for them in the title race. However the last game against Everton was different, I saw the zeal and reason they had to win the game. Wolverhampton managed to pick up points again yesterday against Brentford, even though they had to come back after Brentford were leading 2–0 near the end of the first half. I honestly thought it was over for Wolverhampton, because in the entire first half they had only one shot on target. But the second half was completely different, Brentford couldn’t do anything, they were only defending.

In this match, Wolves team did not perform well at the beginning of the game but came back towards the end of the game and suddenly performed aggressively. But Brentford team was quite aggressive and they were still able to survive the first half of the game but towards the end they could not hold the game. Their defenders started to perform poorly and the goalkeeper lost confidence. In a moment, Brentford team's weakness came and Wolves team returned to farm and the game remained equal and the two teams shared the points.

With about 10 points gap, i do not see Manchester City recovering from this, Arteta is all set to lift the trophy this season unlike other seasons where they get to suffer what did looked like some near luck syndrome for them. Manchester City had the time much earlier if they wanted to win the title this season, but they have been rather inconsistent with their performance for the longest this season and now that they have started to make up for all the gaps, it is already late and Arsenal will not want to loose points so bad that they will have a chance.

They've got nothing to lose now. Wolves are playing without pressure, and that says a lot about their mindset. This match wasn't really easy but at first at thought it would be because Brentford had home advantage and they had more chances of winning because they started scoring on time and were dominant in the game but wolves are known for being very stubborn most especially when they are up against big teams, I guess I underestimated them again and ended up losing my bet cause I thought Brentford would win.

Sometimes something we consider trivial can be troublesome. The same goes for the EPL teams. They can always make things difficult and even steal points. I am not underestimating Arsenal but they have to be cautious. A 3-point difference is not safe enough. Because Man City still have one less match. Then they will play. I feel Man City will work hard to beat Arsenal to open up the championship opportunity. They have players capable of defeating Arsenal so I think Arsenal's challenge is still quite tough.

Arsenal is so far ahead right now that they could actually focus on UCL a lot more. Many people claim that modern teams can focus on both, but I think it's better not to tire your players out that often. So on premier league games we start to see Arsenal play younger players, like that 16 year old kid who scored on the last game.

Sure there were some main starters too, but they can at least rotate and rest some of them so that they could relax and not be tired out by the time UCL games comes. This means they can play the best players on UCL game, and make sure those players are rested when it comes to premier league games, not just skip ALL premier league games, but like get rotated so they do not play in all of them neither, at least until the gap at premier league gets closer.

We still can't say for sure that Arsenal will win the trophy. Because their opponent is not weak at all. Manchester City has been performing well and they are a strong enough team and a worthy enough team to win the trophy. However, the point gap between Arsenal and Manchester City is very big at the moment. Although Arsenal has played one match more, if we consider Manchester City as winning one match, we will still see a big point gap.
