Arsenal is leading the league with seven points ahead of Manchester City and this means that if Arsenal can win five matches more out of the remaining seven matches, they have automatically win the title. I think this is Arsenal season to celebrate lifting up the trophy because at this point nothing can stop them. They players are looking strong and they're still in a good form compared to previous seasons. To crown it all, City is weak in performance.

I also think that Arsenal might not be able to Live up to the hype of the game once they win the league. In my opinion this fine is like a slap on the wrist because it could have been a lot worse. A 9 month academy transfer ban is ridiculous, and won’t even affect the club. It’s unfair!

This season will not pass them only if they play optimally and make the best choice in all of their games remaining to play to the end of the season. Arsenal have been a great team so far and no one expects them to lose the trophy after coming this far in the competition. They are in the first position and are leading the second placed team with a lot of points, so I think they’re going to maintain that top spot for some more time because even a one game lose doesn’t make their position feel threatened. Arsenal have done well and they deserve to win the title now, but let’s see what happens in the remaining matches left to the end of the season.

I wouldn’t consider it the hardest experience except for the fact that, they’ve played Real Madrid so many times in the champions league and many times than most, Real Madrid have always had the best of them. Manchester City is a team that is capable of managing with 10 men on the pitch. The team has just being in and out of form this season and we can say the same for Real Madrid but, they’ve always taken the Manchester City challenge with much seriousness and today, they got away with another 3 points and having the last touch of the game with the Vini goal. While it's true that Manchester City has lost the Champions League and will undoubtedly focus on the Premier League,, their failure in the Champions League will only worsen the mentality of the Manchester City players, which will clearly impact their performance in the Premier League. Therefore, I believe Manchester City's defeat in the Champions League is also an advantage for Arsenal. As far as I know, when Manchester City fails in a major competition like this, they need time to regain their players' morale,, and that's clearly not a good thing for the remainder of the season, which is almost over.

With that in mind,, I believe Arsenal's chances of becoming champions are quite significant. With Arsenal style in this season, it's really hard to see them losing more than 5 points or 8 points in 7 remaining matches, and they will be able to defend this point difference for winning a trophy.

Manchester City finished their Champions League season and they will return to Premier League with full focus. However, I don't see it as a big threat against Arsenal as it seems too late for Manchester City to race with Arsenal. 8 points (but can be reduced to 5 points) less than Arsenal while Arsenal will have only 7 more matches for playing is quite big difference for Manchester City. They already lose Premier League title in this season to Arsenal, and it's fact that can not be denied.

Arsenal's performance is now quite stable and consistent. On the other hand, Manchester city's performance is not stable. They have  performed badly in the last 4 matches. They have drawn in the last two matches of the premier league. City has lost against real madrid in both matches of the Champions League.

City is not able to play well. And now their performance has become irregular again. On the other hand, arsenal's performance is  quite strong. They have won in the last four matches of the premier league. So it seems that it will not be possible for city to occupy the top position of the table anymore.

This is why I believe that arsenal will be crown champions at the end of the season because Manchester City that is their closest rivals for the league title has practically collapsed, their performance lately is nothing to write home about, because their recent draw against West Ham United makes things even more difficult because trailing by nine points with a game in hand they are not even that sure of winning shows that it will only take a total calamity to befalls arsenal for Manchester City to stand a chance this season, because they are not even consistent in claiming their own point. So as it stands now, arsenal are in the driving seat to be crown champions, so if for any stupid reason at this point that they fail to win the league title, then their should be consequences because this is their best chance to win the league title.
