I won't call it incompetent but rather inability to adapt to their new club. Most of the high profiled coaches that fail to deliver in their new clubs were doing well in their previous clubs before they were hired. This business of managing players is not as easy as it sounds. It involves physical, mental and emotional intelligence to bring out the best out of a team. Slot inherited a solid club and won the league title last season. This season things turned sour not because he is incompetent but because the new players are yet to adapt to the club. Arsenal is the only team that has looked the most consistent in the Premier League and the Champions Lague. this is because the other Premier League teams have all struggled with a decline in consistency. liverpool and Manchester City sometimes play exceptionally well in one match but then perform very poorly in the next.

 The chances of City winning the Premier League is reducing, their major hope this season is the Caraboa Cup and FA. I can't tell if they'll drop more points but if they don't sit up, dropping more points is very possible, they need to recover fast from being thrased out of the Champions League.

As for the finals against Arsenal, I will give the trophy to Arsenal because they are much more lively and stronger than Manchester City this season. If we want to judge the game based on who has more form then Arsenal will win because they have more form than Manchester city as a matter of fact in the premier league arsenal has more form than any team and this season they really want to rewrite their past by winning plenty trophies this season and I hope they succeed because this final is really going to be hot for them as form may not matter or determined who will be victorious because that might be Manchester city only hope of winning something this season.

Manchester United started the season without being part of international competitions and withdrawing from domestic cups. That's why their games got delayed whenever any side competition took place.
I feel you and hopefully Manchester United will be included in UEFA Champions League. It will most likely happen this time.
