Liverpool dropping points against Brighton is a big setback for them because they have failed to increase their chances to make it to the top four, and they might not make it to the top four If they continue performing like this. Yes, Liverpool attack were so weak against Brighton and they didn't give cause any real problem for Brighton in the match. I thought Liverpool was going to beat Brighton after they qualified to the next round of the Champions League but I was wrong.

This was definitely a big blow for liverpool. Because the road to fourth place in the table has now become even more difficult for them. But  I am not surprised by  the result of the match. We have been  seeing liverpool's irregular performance for a long time. They have not even been able  to win in the last three matches. Although their performance in home matches is strong, they are not able to play well in away  matches. This is why I avoided betting on them to win in liverpool's away matches. I no longer consider Liverpool to be strong outside anfield.

If Manchester United could collect full points in today's match, they could strengthen their position. But despite their efforts, they could not win. Another defeat for Liverpool today which is another setback for them in their bid to make it to the top 4. If Liverpool can't beat a team like Brighton at this stage of the season when they needed a win to boast them in the race for the top 4. Liverpool attack were so weak today that they barely troubled Brighton defense. Overall it was a bad performance from Liverpool. After their emphatic win against Galatasary one will naturally think that Liverpool will do well today in the league, but their performance wasn't close to expectations. This Liverpool isn't looking like a team that over £400m was invested on last summer.

It’s really not the kind of result people were expecting from Liverpool in this game against Brighton, at least a draw would have been better for them but they ended up losing all three points. It’s really a bad weekend for the Liverpool fans as the club just ruined their weekend so early with this lose to Brighton. Liverpool spent so much this season in bringing players like Florian Wirtz, Isak etc to the club and honestly everyone expected them to be competing for the premier league title this season again to defend the one they won previous season but at this point i think they still lack what it takes to compete for that title after spending so much money during the summer on player transfers.

The loss to Brighton was a shocker. They looked different from last week where they beat Galatasaray in the champions league. Liverpool have completely done a 360 turn under Slot, and I don’t think he will be at the club next season. I doubt they will be finishing the season in top 5, neither are they going to win the UCL. I did not expect United to fail to win. For me it was an easy game for them to get the win so that they can keep the third place run going for a while longer. Not that it's at risk this week, but they need to be careful.

They had a terrible period before, and they can't afford to have a terrible period to finish the league either. They need to go back to that period where they won four in a row, that was the period that made them third place and they gotta keep doing that again.

The EFL Cup final will be very difficult to predict, as it pits two top teams battling for the title this season. Arsenal will undoubtedly be aiming for a win to lift the trophy, but Manchester City will also be fighting hard to secure the title, especially after being eliminated from the Champions League by a significant scoreline.

It won't be easy to predict a match between these two teams; I think it's possible the champions will be determined by a penalty shootout. So, I agree that their chances are about 50/50.

It's true but I think I'll go with Arsenal cause their form is better and they need a trophy more than Manchester City although it's still true that the match would be 50/50 cause it's also an opportunity for Manchester City to win a trophy this season. Arsenal still has hope of winning the Premier League, FA Cup or Champions League if they could reach the finals. I really can't wait for this match, I'm not a fan of either so I'll comfortably watch it without emotions.

While they won't be seeking revenge on the team that beat them, they will certainly take it out on anyone who faces them. So, in this regard, they have just as much motivation.

However, when it comes to creativity, Arsenal relies heavily on corners to score goals. Manchester City, on the other hand, is more creative. So, if Manchester City can overcome Arsenal's corner-based tactics, Arsenal might find it more difficult.

Manchester United dropped points today. A win would have been good, but I doubt anyone would complain about their current position.

I was thinking they going to get a win today, but Bournemouth gave Manchester United difficult moment and the match ended as draw. I don’t think Manchester United fans have anything to say about the match, they couldn’t get 3 points in the match, but at least they were able to get a point in the match. Recently Bournemouth have been a difficult team to win, if you check their last 5 matches, you going to see that they have been playing draw. Manchester United still maintains their 3rd position on the table, so nobody is having anything to say.

Since Bournemouth managed to win one match in their last five matches before playing against Manchester United yesterday, I was also thinking Manchester United would win yesterday but that didn't happen, and the Harry Maguire red card made it easy for Bournemouth to held Manchester United to a 2-2 draw match at Vitality Stadium. I am a Manchester United fan, and I will say the referee denying Manchester United a penalty for a foul committed against Amad Diallo and sending Harry Maguire off in the second half was the reason why Manchester United shared the points with Bournemouth.

This same ref disallowed a valid United goal earlier this season and the Premier League admitted later that they were wrong. Officially admitted it. And here he is again. United's complaint to the officials isn't all about Friday. It's about Wolves, it's about Brentford, it's been building.

But also, Maguire had been incredible all night long. Then Evanilson gets in behind as the midfield ran out of legs. Casemiro and Mainoo had been pressing and covering for 80 minutes on end. There was nobody left to help. Maguire had to foul because nobody else was around. Oh and, this, Maguire got called back to England that morning. First time in like six months. That's supposed to be his big comeback moment and then four hours later we have this red card. The universe is a cruel place sometimes.

The real best player on the pitch on that night was Alex Scott. Sky Sports awarded him player of the match. But he got completely snubbed from the England squad while Mainoo (who Scott literally outplayed) got the call up. He was publicly supported by Iraola after the game. That whole subplot is of more interest to me than the penalty debate. What happens to Scott, what happens to Iraola? Apparently he's been connected back to Athletic Bilbao. All that seems much larger than a single draw.

Manchester United are losing their consistency again, I don't want to see them as they were before. They have already dropped points in two of their last five matches, I certainly can't call them consistent now.

Liverpool's loss of points against Brighton was not unexpected at all, Brighton often surprise us, especially against big teams, they perform relatively well. They have been very consistent in the last matches too, they lost against Arsenal but their performance was impressive which forced Arsenal to struggle. Chelsea will have to definitely struggle against Everton.

Manchester United should have lost because of their recklessness in that game yesterday but the 2-2 draw is better than losing all 3 point. I believe some Manchester United fans would blame Maguire for everything, yes he is to blame because if he had chased and marked that player very closely the player won't have done any damage. Liverpool I can't say why they lost to Brighton that are too good, their form isn't too good enough to withstand the Liverpool I watched in the champions league. I expected Liverpool to use that same energy to battle Brighton but it seems Brighton had other plans for them but does it mean that Liverpool are not too good when it comes to the epl games.

Well I can attest to just one of this speculation and that's the impossibility of them winning the premier League and that's because arsenal have already cling onto that but as for the champions league I don't know if I can say they can't or won't win any of the two legs against PSG because they tend to play a whole lot differently in the champions league and as for the cup final, well that's a 50/50 game since the Manchester City you are talking about are also performing very very poorly.

Essentially every match they play is a final meaning that even the slightest mistake they make will certainly lead to something they don't want to happen. It's natural for both teams to be more cautious in every match, especially now that we're heading into the final round of the EPL season.

Each team has its own playing vision or characteristics and according to what you said, it is common for what each team does and also maybe the vision implemented by Arteta is different from what Pep Guardiola does that's why I said something like that but the essence of what we see from each team is certainly different from what is implemented by the coaches of both teams, both Arsenal and Man City.

If yiu check the past records, you will see that Manchester United have won only two of their last 6 away matches, lost one to Newcastle and drew the rest. Going by this record, it was not too bad for them to draw with Bournemouth have even have better home record than them. While we are blaming Manchester United for playing a score draw with Bournemouth,  we should also realise that they played a very strong opponent who have home advantage.

Not all teams win all the time but Chelsea had a very good chance to win today but I don't understand what is happening to them. Being 2-0 down in an easy match is really unexpected. A team can lose to a normal team than them unfortunately but losing a match 2-0 like this is not really expected. This match was very important for Chelsea because if they could win this match, they would have moved ahead of Liverpool on points and could have moved to the 4th position in the points table.

It was truly a disappointing weekend for the top teams. To be honest I didn't know that Liverpool would be this weak against Brighton because it was obvious that they are more balance in the game because of their performance in the Champions league but they just proved me wrong. Already Chelsea has been on losing streak for a while now so I'm not much surprised about their losses, just that they are making it to get worster because it's obvious now that losing is part of them.

The match is in the 78th minute at the time of typing this comment and Chelsea have not scored any goal yet, and though I perfectly understand that 5 minutes or even less is enough for any team to score to equalize a match that the opponent is already leading with two goals, but I honestly doubt is Chelsea will be able to make that come back from this one, Everton seems to be over prepaid to deal with Chelsea today and they are really doing it the very way they like.

Everton is solid in the game, while typing, I saw that Everton scored another goal bringing the scoreline now to 3 goals from Everton and 0 goals from Chelsea, at this point, I guess it's safe to say that Everton have managed to beat Chelsea today, very unfortunate for Chelsea but then, I am very happy for Everton, they did really well in this match.

In the first half after Beto scored the first goal, I'm still wondering how Pickford was able to make that save against Fernandez, that was no routine save. Chelsea, may be the beating PSG gave them is still affecting them. But isn't getting spanked 8 supposed to wake the players to perform better next time especially if it's against a smaller team. Everton has used Chelsea to count 3 complete points. See Chelsea that I was thinking was going to make top 4 with ease considering how they too have players in all wings readily available but look at how they are struggling like a team that lacks players. I'm seeing 3 - 0 after Everton, it's completely finished or should I say Chelsea is completely finished.
