You should not be too sure because it is not binding anywhere that Arsenal and Manchester City will loose points together at a time, Manchester City may not loose points eventually and Arsenal may , but if Arsenal do not loose in more than one game before the season ends, they still have a good chance at the title even with the close margin, meanwhile it will be different with City if they loose points.

After the match, Arteta made a statement that says that they’ll come back strong as a team and their performance so far this season will push them to not relent and fight for the remaining trophies they’re still in contending for. It has been long Arsenal won a trophy, maybe they’ve forgotten what it takes to play in a final or a deciding match that gives them an edge for the trophy.

No matter the condition, with how far they’ve come in this pursuit for a trophy, they’ll come out stronger and better than they’ve been before now. Honestly, Manchester City is not that strong enough, but as they have been able to defeat Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final, Manchester City has become the stronger team in the Premier League for now for some people.But to me, I do not see Manchester City as the strongest team. I still view Arsenal as the better team, despite Arsenal losing the Carabao Cup final to them. Winning a final does not always mean that a team is the best, it may just be that they were lucky sometimes.

So, it is possible that Manchester City will still drop points in the remaining matches. I also do not have full confidence that Arsenal will not drop points, but I feel that even if Arsenal does drop points, it may only be against Manchester City. However, I am not saying that Manchester City will definitely beat them the game could end in a draw, which means both teams may drop points.All I can say for now is that even if Arsenal drops points, they may not drop enough points to lose the Premier League trophy.

But, my problem with Arsenal is why they approached the match like a normal match and instead of fighting like they are in final

I don't think the Carabao Cup would ever please them. It is of course a positive result, but it could never outweigh the disappointment in all those other competitions. Their chances to win the EPL is 25% at best because they still have to play one more match and they still play against Arsenal. If they win both games, it would be 3 points separating them from Arsenal and they would still have to hope for one more mistake at least.

They have the FA Cup as a goal, which I think would ease the trouble a little bit if they finished the season with the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup win. But in the FA Cup Liverpool is their next opponent and Chelsea and Arsenal are still in there. It will not be effortless to say the last.

I didn't watch the Carabao Cup final, but the stats are not looking as if Arsenal tried to put in the highest effort possible. Speaking of Arsenal, they have a lot to lose this season. If Arteta ends this season without a trophy, I think it could have consequences for him.

Arsenal should be careful how they play defence. Today they were so much interested in defending than pressing or attacking especially in the second half and they let Manchester city control the game it was only a matter of time before Manchester city break the defence or force and error. I can’t congratulate Manchester City. Tbh I wanted Arsenal to win at least 3 trophies this season but fate had other plans. Even though it’s been so long since Arsenal won a trophy, the Carabao Cup is not a very important trophy so it’s not the end of the world. The players need to step up from today’s defeat and hold on to their lead in the premier league till the very last match day.

Definitely Arsenal should need to be very careful regarding through their quality and performance consistency because for many years they have made an extraordinary effort to get the trophy, but unfortunately every time they failed to win it and now tomorrow match against Manchester City really show us that Arsenal have really losing his quality because the recent performance of Manchester City was so poor but still Arsenal was unable to get victory against them...

Manchester City has dropped more points than Arsenal in the league that they defeated Arsenal to lift the trophy yesterday doesn't mean they will not drop points in their remaining matches, also Arsenal can still lose few matches but they have a better chance of winning the rest of their matches because in the league they have a better performance than Manchester City when they will definitely win the league at all cost. Personally, I will say that the English Premier League has been decided and this time around Arsenal is winning it. If it was when Arsenal was going to slide two things actually happens;
1. Arsenal will begin to perform very poor, they begin to lose and draw all their matches
2. Man City in the other hand will be very brave and begin to win all their matches.
But at this time, Arsenal is not dropping points as they used to do in the past seasons and at the same time Manchester City is not in their best form, this is why I have the strong belief that this season is actually for Arsenal.

Besides, Arsenal has a better squad depth than they used to have in the past seasons. So there is no much reasons to make them not to win the English Premier League of this season. Another factor would have been if the Premier League has a final because Arsenal of today does not know how to play a final. But since there is no finals for English Premier League, Arsenal is winning this one.

Everton were the only team that worry me but after they were defeated, I had assurance that arsenal would win the premier league title. Manchester city is in the second place at the top of the table,they had their chances to overtake arsenal when the points difference was small, that time has elapsed and arsenal can't lose points ahead since their remaining matches are against weak teams. Since arsenal remaining games aren't against tougher teams they will likely to win all the seven matches.

Mikel Arteta shouldn't panic after losing the carabao cup final to Pep Guardiola yesterday. There's always room for failure and one needs to accept failure before one can shoot higher in the game. This is football and alot of things have gone weigh beyond expectations. This time, we just have to expect the very best from our closing ranging clubs. Mikel Arteta and Arsenal have been able to achieve something tangible and they're always going to match up bigger winnings as long as they're consistent this season.
