A narrow escape for Arsenal as the equalizing goal was canceled by VAR due to the pushing of Raya that made him unable to hold the ball after it was crossed out from the corner kick. Arsenal got all three points as they continue to get closer to the end of the season. Just two last games for them to be crowned the title winners if they stay consistent till the end.

Arsenal were so lucky in todays match, before the match started, I knew west ham will give Arsenal difficult time in the match, I was even predicting the match to end as draw, because I know west ham won’t want to lose today since they are trying to avoid relegation, but they were unlucky today, they played so well in the match, but Arsenal were able to get a goal towards the ending of the match.

If not for west ham goal that was canceled, the match will have ended as draw. I don’t know if west ham will be able to avoid relegation this season, they still having 2 matches left, so let’s see what’s going to happen. Arsenal also are having 2 matches left, Burnley match might not be so difficult for them, but I don’t think they going to find their match against crystal palace easy.

The game ended in a win for Arsenal winning by a goal and getting three points, the goal was gotten in the second half as the first half was goalless, I even taught it may end a draw because I felt Arsenal were been careful with the game so they do not concede a goal and not end up loosing, the only goal of the game came in later beyond the 80th minute, it was scored by Trossard.

Arsenal game today was quite tense, they had to wait 80 minutes to score a goal. And I must admit that west ham gave them a tough fight. Now Arsenal have to cross two more hurdles to secure the title, Burnley shouldn't be difficult for them to beat but Crystal Palace is likely to be different, and hopefully Arsenal make their best efforts in these two remaining matches.

I’m so impressed by Arsenal’s performance and this game alone is a testament to show Arsenal has taken this league already. The club I envisaged was going to give Arsenal the most headache was West Ham and this one goal alone was enough to push Arsenal further to the title while it also pulled the West Ham club down to the relegation spot. Arsenal seems to be enjoying this dangerous pattern of playing a single goal win game with their opponents and I hope they will get better in their subsequent matches left to become the heroes of this league after a while since they smelled it the last time.

Relegation would not have been the fate of West ham if they had held that game to a draw but then Arsenal was just so persistent enough to not let that happen, the only goal by trossard saved the day for them and they now have more assurance of lifting the title this season than any other season. It now looks like Manchester city may not get the title as they have anticipated this season because now arsenal is getting the point difference bigger by winning these important games.

Next season will be another time for Manchester City to try, maybe thi is not one of those seasons for them.

What are you saying? Between arsenal and Manchester City which one has been more balanced and consistent? I believe the answer is arsenal but it's just too bad that they haven't been able to wrap up this whole title fight since and that's probably because they were aiming for more than one trophy and it was too bad they got knocked out of the competition competition and seeing how realistic winning this particular premier League is looking I don't think they will mess up again.

Yeah, arsenal is more balanced than Manchester city right from day one of this season. You know I never thought nor imagine that Manchester city could make it up to the 2nd position considering how terrible their performance was in the middle of the season. I'm so happy for arsenal you know they have been struggling for some seasons now but all to no avail even to a point where we start feeling that' maybe there's something going on that we don't know and even if there's such, then I think the Yolk or whatever it is that is stopping them from lifting the premier league trophy would break this season.

When Trossard scored, I was beyond angry, how the hell did he even get to that position or convert, I honestly felt West Ham was going to win against Arsenal, and for a long time, it felt like West Ham could do something especially from those there missed chance.

West Ham knew what was at stake and they could pull through, now they are one point  behind Tottenham and Tottenham has an outstanding match.

If we should say the truth Westham United really tried, I didn't expect such performance from them I was actually thinking it's gonna be an easy win for Arsenal but the reverse was the case, had it been Westham United converted all their chances it would have been a different story by now, but all the same they tried it was only a hard luck and all hopes are not lost, because Tottenham Hotspurs is never to be trusted this season so they still have some chance left, for Arsenal they really tried also I will have to congratulate them because the English premier League is already theirs no doubt.

No one has to break it to Westham right now that they're heading to relegation and won't be playing in the EPL next season, and I think this already struck in the way the players were looking when Trossard scored that winning goal. It's all on Westham, they couldn't convert their chances when they had it even knowing what's to be lost for them. Westham couldn't even bend over backwards to make sure they win this crucial game. Well! Congr to Arsenal, they're gradually closer to the trophy than ever.

It was because West Ham was facing relegation battle, they can’t afford to lose the match because losing to Arsenal means that their chance of surviving in the premier league is very slim because I don’t think Tottenham will lose to Leeds United.

Although West Ham can still have chance because Tottenham have to play against Chelsea and Everton which are tough matches, therefore, they can lose one of these matches because Chelsea after good performance against Liverpool will want to maintain by defeating Tottenham, this will give West Ham chance, but if Chelsea defeat Leeds United, it will be four points gap and it will be late for West Ham because even if they lose to Chelsea, Tottenham can’t lose to Everton.

For Arsenal, it’s almost certain that the premier league title will be for us, only two matches to go which will be against Burnley and Crystal Palace; it will not be easy but I am sure Arsenal can’t lose get over these matches since they have won against West Ham United that is in the relegation already.

West ham really did there best in this match but Luck was too far from them. Arsenal is doing everything that they can to be able to win the premier League trophy this season. They understand that any slight mistake on there part will only cause the league. Therefore despite how hard westham United tried they end up losing because arsenal is determined to win the trophy this season and they understand that they are going against Manchester city.

Arsenal edges West Ham in a scrappy 1 - 0 win to secure all 3 points and stay 5 points ahead of Manchester City, very crucial win for the gunners and they are 2 games away of becoming champions of England for the first time in 20+ years , at least that champions jersey they have been printing all these year without wearing it, finally they will get to wear it and Arsenal will be called champions again in over 2 decades. I believe the next 2 games will be easier especially that if Crystal Palace on the last day of the league matches.

That is completely wrong,  saying Arsenal is more consistent than Manchester City now is what i cannot accept.  Talking about consistency, i wll gladly say Arsenal maintained a great level of consistency especially at the first quarter of the tournament but lost it all the beginning of the year then Manchester City stepped up to close the existing gap. I am not doubtful of Arsenal's consistency but saying they are more consistent than city is what I cannot agree.

Let's say Arsenal fans will be happy that the VAR worked in their favor today that's why they have forgotten so soon of how they used that same method to score against Manchester United this season, in the game Manchester United goal keeper was pushed down and Arsenal scored but the goal was also awarded to Arsenal. Today the VAR rewarded Arsenal by robbing West Ham United off their goal let's say they want Arsenal to win the league cause it's becoming too obvious that they are supporting Arsenal.

Even though I was expecting a much more bigger scoreline from Arsenal, The scoreline is not too a bad one because what Arsenal needs at this moment is just the three points and that was what Arsenal was able to do today.

Arsenal set a poor precedent in executing set pieces and it’s not just once or twice that we’ve  seen just how cunning they can be when it comes to bothering the opposing goalkeeper. But strangely enough, the referee saw it as perfectly acceptable , and because of this approach, Arsenal often gains goals from such situations. So I think West Ham should have been awarded a goal in the  dying moments because that situation shouldn’t have been a foul, given what Arsenal usually do. West Ham were really unlucky , because I think the referee robbed the points from them

Arsenal did not perform as expected. They struggled to win the match. If not, they would have lost the match or draw the match. They missed a lot of chances they would have converted to goals, which is very bad at this stage. They need to be converting any chance to goals, Arsenal are just very lucky to have won this match today if not that they canceled the Westham goal they they would’ve ended up drawing the match which would have been very bad for them. If they had draw this match it would’ve given Manchester city hope of doing more better in order to make sure that they lift the Premier league title but right now it is only remaining two matches for Arsenal and I know they can succeed in winning the two matches, and if they do that, they have succeeded in lifting the Premier league title.

I read everything she dropped their on Facebook and that is the bitter truth. In as much as these other rival fans are so angry that the Gunners are now getting things right they can't just accept it that they are so pained to see Arsenal become champions by lifting the EPL title, these guys have suffered for a very long while and they expect them to always continue doing the same thing while they laugh, honestly is not fare and is a big shame for the rival fans to dance always on another club's down fall, at least a weldone is enough,... The pressure now shifts to City, as they need to finish their three matches with positive results. Meanwhile, Arsenal only need to play Burnley and Palace, who will be focused on winning the conference final. So, Arsenal will likely have a chance to win their remaining two matches if they can maintain their focus and not let the upcoming Champions League final weigh them down.
