With Xabi Alonso signing as head coach, they will be dangerous next season. Xabi Alonso is a good manager and he will transform Chelsea. He already has been involved when it comes to the players who are being signed up and sold. He will make them win the Premier League title next season. I agree with you, he'll do a good job at Chelsea. If we compare the current Chelsea with the Real Madrid he managed, the players have a different level of maturity, so he'll do well. Besides, Xabi has very good strategies and likes to work to always take his teams to the best, just like he did at Leverkusen. The reason he didn't succeed at Real Madrid is because he wasn't ready yet; there are many things he needs to learn.

In the first match of the day, Manchester United hosted Nottingham Forest at home. Having gone into the break ahead, Manchester United managed to beat Nottingham Forest 3–2 at home. With this victory, they have secured their place in third position. Both teams put in a good performance, and in my opinion, Manchester United played a fine match. United managed a total of 29 shots in the match; had they been a little more accurate, they might well have had the chance to score more goals from those attempts.

I didn't expect Nottingham Forest to play particularly well in this match. They seemed to play an open game and were able to pressure Manchester United. However, Manchester United still had the better game, and this allowed them to create more chances and outplay Nottingham Forest.
Perhaps a concern for next season is that Manchester United's midfield and defense are lacking, and that was very evident in this match. And with 13 players leaving Manchester United at the end of this season, hopefully, Manchester United will be able to acquire more quality players to improve their performance next season, especially when they play in the Champions League.

Exactly, assumptions shouldn't be made about coaching Chelsea, some people think he's not fit for the job just because he failed at Madrid but the truth is you can't compare the mentality and quality of players at Chelsea with players at Madrid so that's a reason he will do well. Most players in Madrid feel they are big enough while players at Chelsea still want to develop and get better.

Alonso still lacks a bit of experience that's why he failed, having the dressing room under control in bad times is still a quality he needs to improve on. I believe the best club he should be right now is a club like Chelsea, as a Chelsea fan I am happy he's been appointed.

Both teams performed well and in comparison, Nottingham Forest attacked with great intensity at Manchester United's home ground. Both teams attacked well. Manchester United scored only one goal in the first half, but Forest's performance changed a lot in the second half and they were able to respond. But later Manchester United attacked strongly and scored two more goals against Forest and they went ahead. Although Forest fought with great intensity later and scored another goal to make it 3-2, they attacked enough to equalize but were unsuccessful. In the last minute, Manchester United proved that they were still strong enough and played with enough energy to maintain their position.

Honestly, both teams really played beyond my expectations, especially Nottingham Forest. I was not really expecting much from them in terms of goal-scoring against Manchester United. I also did not expect that Manchester United would give it their all because I thought they had already secured their position in next season’s UEFA Champions League.However, I think Manchester United just want to continue keeping good records this season. With the kind of mentality Manchester United are playing with now, if they can continue like this next season, they may likely fight for the Premier League title. Since Michael Carrick took over the coaching role, Manchester United have been in great winning spirits, and that is why they have moved to third position on the table.It will be a great season for Manchester United if they can strengthen the squad even more. I would really like to see Manchester United return to their long-term winning form

I think they still got some chance left because I don't really think Tottenham Hotspurs can win Chelsea come this week Tuesday, because even Chelsea need that point as much as Tottenham Hotspurs needs it, so they still got some chance left, and any game between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspurs always ends in favor of Chelsea either Chelsea is informed or not they always come victorious against Tottenham Hotspurs, unless now that Chelsea is not to write home about, but despite that I don't still believe Tottenham Hotspurs can still win them.

What a game! Bruno Fernandes was electric as usual - increasing his assist record to 20. He deserves the player of the match award. Mbeumo wasted a lot of chances. I was disappointed with the Dorgu and Zirkzee sub, they didn’t improve the game at all and looked more tired than the players who played full-time.  Overall, it was a good game for United, they ended the season being third on the table.

I completely agree with this about Bruno Fernandes was actually an outstanding in this particular match, he really deserved the player's of the match award because almost all the attacks that are dangerously obviously pass through him. Nottingham Forest also had alot of chance to beat Manchester united seriously but thier attackers were fumbled and looks weaker, expecialy at the second half of the game, if not thier performances were so accurate and encouraging. I understood your thoughts about Dorgu and Zirkzee substitutions, it's obvious they didn't bring the expected energy into game instead of doubling the pressures on Nottingham Forest, they look less and slower compared to the players whom stayed for the pitch for the entire match

However, if Manchester United maintained this particular level of  consistency right from day one or earlier stage of the league, I believe they could have been struggling for tittle race together with Arsenal at the top two standings, I really love the confidence in them right now and I hope they finish the season greatly.

Not yet. Hammer's fate is now on Chelsea's hand. If Chelsea beats Spurs, they still have a small chance to leave. So they have to pray Chelsea to perform at least like when Chelsea fought CIty in the final of FA cup or better.
Spurs is shite, and hopefully, Chelsea manages to beat Spurs, then relegation battle is still ongoing until the last week of EPL.

There's no better thing than seeing relegation team to fight until the end.

Congratulations to Manchester City for emerging as the winners of this seasons FA cup. Once again this is another trophy for Manchester City as they continue to hope and wait for the big question talking about the premier League race. Even though Manchester City were not in the best of forms this season they have been able to win two trophies this season that is just to tell you of the level of consistency that Manchester City maintain each season.


Pep has been able to raise the standards of Manchester City to the point were winning trophies are no longer an issue to be discussed. Any coach that will replace Pep as Manager will finds it difficult to step into his shoes perfectly because the standard has been set too high for any coach currently.

This is an outstanding achievement for Manchester city, pep is indeed a good strategist and he has been able to come up with strategies that puts city at the top. Winning two trophies is quite impressive but talking about the premier league title I'm not sure they are going to win that because arsenal are not taking any chances they are going all in to make sure that they emerge as the champions this season.

That is true Pep has been so remarkable in his stay at city he has won everything as far as club football is concerned and deserves a thumbs up. Pep is one of the best coaches that has ever come to the English premier League and even in the club history talking about Manchester City.

Five goals were scored in this match, three for Manchester United and two for Nottingham Forest. That's a high scoring match although you mentioned that both teams have nothing to do with the points. I would say even their position might not change regardless of the result of the match and even if it happens Manchester United might lose a place but they will end among the teams playing UEFA Champions League next season.
By the way, Manchester United was about to score two additional goals but the bar saved them in the first attempt and the goalkeeper in the second one.

With the way a lot of good chances both teams missed in the first half I knew if they continue with the same performance in the second half and create good chances like they did in the first half there's a likely chance both teams would score goals in the second half. Both teams weren't serious in that match but yet they entertain football fans and shared five goals. Had the been Manchester United drew against Nottingham Forest or Nottingham Forest won Manchester United, Manchester United won't lose their position in the Premier League to Aston villa or Liverpool.

That could have been done today but these players couldn't convert all of the chances he created. I'm indeed happy for Bruno Fernandes, he deserves this Premier League player of the season award.

It'll be interesting to see where Casemiro will end up next year. He's 34, which is a significant age for the pace of the Premier League and his position. He might even retire. I wouldn't be surprised. He made a good living at United (his salary was several times higher than at Real Madrid). It seems that Ronaldo invited him to Al Nassr, but it is not a fact that Ronaldo himself will stay there after this season.
Fernandes has written his name into history and I hope he will become the sole leader in the game against Brighton.

Expectations were too high for Newcastle United this season, but they completely failed to deliver. Their season is almost regarded as the worst because their investments were much higher than many clubs, but their inconsistency and poor quality bring them down. Today, in the last game of their season at home, they are having a good result against West Ham. At the end of 70 minutes, they are leading by 3-1.

A few media reports are indicating maybe Eddie Howe could be replaced because current management is not happy, but still, it's not going to be easy because he was doing a good job, but in this season, injuries and a few players poor performance never allowed them to have good results.

Lol, I remember those days that Manchester City were more or less toothless bull dogs. Pep has really done a lot to elevate the status of Manchester City and led them to many trophies, even back to back premier League titles. He's a good coach no doubt and would be greatly missed if the rumors that he leaves Manchester at the end of the season is true. He's been around for a while and his campaign in City can only be described as a successful one.

West Ham can still avoid relegation zone if Tottenham loses both of its remaining games and West Ham wins its last game against Leeds United. This scenario is very much unlikely to happen because Tottenham knows that they need to win at least one of its remaining game to avoid getting into relegation zone. Tottenham has done good towards the end of this season, as they have faced only one loss in their last five encounters. Due to this reason Tottenham chances of playing next EPL is high as compared to West Ham.

Newcastle isn't as weak as you think. I didn't expect them to draw or lose against a weak club on relegation. However, I expected a good fight from West Ham but they didn't and surrendered easily to Newcastle in the first half.

They got a consolation goal to end the game 3-1. West Ham should go back and rethink if they'll love to be part of the Premier league teams or not. Smallville will go to a new club.

Newcastle man handled West Hammer United at their home. West Ham needed this win or a draw to stand a chance of not getting relegated, but it seems their fate is near. This is a big opportunity for Tottenham to give their all against Chelsea on Tuesday. If Tottenham find a win, the relegation battle is over with West Ham is over. I know it hurts to get relegated from the Premier League, and as a big team, it hurts even more. This is the main reason why I want Tottenham to survive this one time, maybe next time if they perform abnormally, relegation should not be far from them.

West Ham is now just a step away from relegation to the Championship after losing to Newcastle. It looked like Tottenham would be the ones going down, but since De Zerbi's arrival, the Spurs have picked up the necessary points, and it seems West Ham will take their place instead. However, if Chelsea actually manages to beat Tottenham, the relegation battle will become much more interesting. But something tells me Tottenham will take the win over Chelsea.

Manchester United really did play well today, they won but the question is, is that winning really necessary? As it stands now I think Bruno Fernandez having an assist is more important than Manchester United winning a game, and with the look of things it was as if some of the Manchester United players were playing against him, the likes of Zirkzee, Amad, Mbuemo, it's seems these players were playing against him in today's match else with what I saw Bruno Fernandez would have 23-25 assist by now, but all the same we count it all joy since he's among them now, I believe he might still get another assist in the last game of the season.
