You are right. So far psg  has performed brilliantly. Especially in every match of the knockout round, they have  performed exceptionally well and have been able to defeat the giant  teams of europe. So it is possible for psg  to defeat Arsenal. And PSG is considered the  favorite. But there is nothing surprising if any unexpected event happens in the final. Because arsenal is also a very  strong team. The players are in a good mood after  winning the premier league title.

Let’s just give it to them this season. Aston Villa's last match with Manchester City proved to us that there are no limits to what small clubs can do, even in the face of uncertainty. The Premier League this season was awesome to some extent; most smaller clubs broke records, and even clubs that had failed to lift a trophy for 22 years finally did so. Therefore, Aston Villa’s expectations for better performances in the coming season are not really out of place. Abbitico, I understand your observation on the depth of players in the club and the need to work that out next season, but we shouldn't forget that new players will be in the pipeline to join the club during the next transfer window.

A shame?? Oh please, let's put some respect on the manager's name for having such a wonderful 10-year ride with the team. I know you're referring to one of the posters on this thread but it's a big blow to Pep guardiola, especially because that was his final game for the club. Aston Villa is in better shape than City imo and they wouldn't joke with any point to stay at the UCL position, Which will feature them for the second time in a row after the long break. It was a wonderful performance from Watkins, and I hope he can withstand the pressure in the UCL.

Not about a shame, City need to make changes in the team, Haaland is a super striker, who comes up looking lazy to preserve his energy, he knows his ways to the goal post, but hardly goes for the ball. In the game with Bournemouth, they made him look really lazy, he was swallowed up, and was no where to be found, until the dying minute super kick he made.

Again, this is a direct criticism to Pep's strategy. Maybe you should wait a little more for the new manager ( for God knows when he's showing up) to take over the team and lead with a different game plan?

In situations as this, players like Semenyo does the dirty job for him, then he finishes at every opportunity made available by his team mate, all of these strategies don't seem to work perfectly well anymore.

Well Semenyo knows how to steal the spotlight on important occasions. I love how he strains to breaking point, just to make sure he's at the right place, at the right time to secure the win. That's how they got home with the FA cup. It has worked severally for them and if the new manager wants to follow same steps in a proper way, it may still work for him.

Is like he forgot that even though they won the Aston Villa game at the Etihad stadium, it wouldn't changed anything about the title race, because it has already been decided, so it makes no sense to treat the game like something is at stake, or a do or die.
As you have rightfully said, the two trophies they won this season is the type of farewell that is good and more pleasing, not a compulsory thing that they must win the Aston Villa game that their nothing is left to play for.

And because of the achievement of pep guardiola at Manchester City, the club has decided to honor him by putting a statue of him outside the Etihad stadium, which I believe that their is no better way to honour a club legend than that.

That's just how things are. Now they have to move on, build a better team, and make new signings.

City look like they're going to have a hard time understanding the new signings, and a fresh manager, what need to be done is a fast buckling up within this period before the next season starts. Other teams would as well not wait for anybody, this would be a first come first serve situation in terms of preparation, those who delay at fixing any underlying problem would pay for it in the most gruesome way.

Congratulations to Spurs for not getting themselves relegated, it was a good feeling to see the fans celebrating like they won the EPL title, what a day. The reason I never wanted Tottenham Hotspurs to be relegated was because it will be no fun to see Arsenal not having any serious North London rival in the EPL come next season, while we watch the Manchester derby (even if it has been boring of recent), it will be too bad to see Arsenal not having that clash between them and Spurs. It was a Sunday of celebration for the North London rivals, Arsenal got the EPL title and Spurs survived being relegated from the EPL, congrats to both clubs.

When your favorite team is saved one step away from the abyss, is obvious that you too are happy as if they had won the championship.

So happy for Eberechi Eze. He won the premier league in his first season with Arsenal. And to think he almost signed for Tottenham. Madueke is also another lucky player, he won the club World Cup with Chelsea and has now won the league with Arsenal.

Hell happy for Viktor Gyökeres, he did so well in his debut season for Arsenal. Viktor Gyökeres was signed by Mikel Arteta for the title race and he did exactly that even though it was a hectic season. I’d say Arsenal are still the best team in London even if they don’t win PSG in the champions league because Chelsea, and Tottenham have been nothing to talk about this season.

Yesterday match was it really that much important because winning or losing won't change anything. It is just the same thing, therefore there was no need for Manchester city to put much effort in winning that match. However, this was the match for pep Gaurdiola in premier League and winning would have been the best way to celebrate his leaving Manchester city. Yesterday was really an important day for Manchester city because that's the last day they will pep Gaurdiola and some there players on the pitch playing for Manchester city

I don't think that Pep has gone 2 seasons without winning the league in his whole coaching career,  so that's something that you need to understand first. Manchester City  did not win the premier league only because they did not give 100%, or they blew away chances to win it, but I think Arsenal are way better and more determined to win it this season. When people say things like this, it's taking away the praise that Arsenal truly deserve.  They have been the best team in the league and you saying that Manchester blew chances to win the league,  we should not forget that Arsenal also blew chances to have wrapped up the premier a long time ago, so I still stand that Arsenal has been the best team in the premier league this season and they deserve to win it.

Yeah, it probably doesn't matter, but even if it does, I don't think Mancity would've been able to win this Aston Villa squad.  They're in top form this period and I also predicted that they'd win Mancity in their last game even before d Mancity draw.

But ur definitely right to say this doesn't define Pep, he's an exceptional, phenomenal coach. He knows how to coach, and he's very technical. Honestly in every club he had coached, he had always left his mark, and it's an incredible one.

Anyways, I'm happy for Arsenal, they finally lifted d cup, and I'm seriously disappointed in Chelsea's performance yesterday, what a bad way to end d season, but then again, it doesn't even matter.

Now it doesn't make any sense anymore, Arsenal are rightly projected towards the final which will be without any holds barred, the championship is over and nothing changes for them, they have other problems to think about, honestly what worries me is the change of coach which is truly a very strange thing and won't be easy.

manchester city completely fell apart in the final week after losing the title. they went into halftime with a lead but conceded two goals from ollie watkins in the second half. it seems the probability of unexpected results in matches increases once the champion is decided.

arsenal won their match in a manner befitting a champion. if manchester city hadn’t drawn last week, they would have secured the title after winning this match. i think that would have been much nicer, but manchester city have been lacking in recent weeks.

In the last 10 games, Manchester City has 5 points which is less than Arsenal, while they lost this title by 7 points. This means they were not at their best from the mid of this season, which gave them trouble and also ended their chances of a title. Even Arsenal was also not at their best, still they did enough.

In the first half, things were completely favourable for Manchester City, but in the second half, Aston Villa had a good change of strategy and scored goals to seal this season on a positive note with good wins against big clubs.

Tottenham finally managed to stay in the premier league. Joao Palhinha only goal earned them 41 points, meaning West Ham struggles last night were in vain, despite their 3-goal win over Leeds, they remain the last team out of the top flight. De Zerbi still has a lot of work to do, and I believe Spurs will be much better next season with Zerbi.

One other impressive thing in the last match last night was Man Utd victory, they still played seriously even though they were confirmed to qualify for the UCL.

While I agree that Pep won a lot with the team, it would have made a lot more sense to have something of a good farewell with wins in a row could have been a nicer way to do a send off. I know that Arsenal would have been champions anyway, but City bottled it with these games.

I hope I'm not the only person that see PSG went to DD to WWL in their last 5 matches. We are saying that PSG did kick teams in the Champions League but they didn't seem to have consistency and after all, the way they won the Laliga was 6 points ahead of Lens while Arsenal had 7 points difference form their second place in the Premier League. PSG looks everything but they are just weak team like others see Arsenal, by the way only Arsenal is the team that has not loss 1 game in the Champions League.

There is something about this Champions League that I think even PSG is afraid of the outcome than what we may see later. If Arsenal don't under play their confidence, there is high chance that they can win the league and have a better chance but if they decide to sleep on it, PSG will rubbish them and this celebration of winning the Premier League will die quickly. If they win the Champions League, I think this will be the biggest Arsenal will go after many years of trophiless.

They had a very bad campaign last season that they finished in the same 17th position they secured after their 1:0 win against Everton yesterday and were able to qualify for this season's UEFA Champions League competition by winning last season's UEFA Europa League competition. I was thinking they'll learn from their mistakes of last season and have a better performance in the league this season but no, they had to fight for survival till the last match day. Well, they now have an experienced manager in Roberto De Zerbi and I think the Italian manager will help them have a better and more competitive campaign next season, that's of the club management will allow him make important decisions without interfering especially during the summer transfer market.
