Am I the only one that feels that Chelsea and Barcelona are going to be the most scary club next season??
One thing is to buy players another is to buy the right players and they are doing just that, if some how Chelsea manages to get osimen, don't be surprised if they win the primer league next season.

What's so special about Xabi becoming the next man in Chelsea as their coach. The guy has good record but I'm actually waiting to see what is going to happen if Xabi comes to the English league and how Arsenal are going to turn up next season. The only nightmare of Arteta is Guardiola, man has left and no competitors left. If they fail to win the league next season then they are not as good as they think, they were only obsessed with Manchester City winning it.

This Osimehn talk move of coming to Chelsea has been a long term talk, it's his dream to play for Chelsea but contracts doesn't change anything we the fans think. If Chelsea are ready to spend the money on him, he will take the bait and comes to Europe but I'm not sure if Chelsea want to spend this amount of money on him just like that, they can't pay what Galatassaray will ask and Galatassaray will rather keep him than let him go to another club.

That's true, and I think a team's performance is usually based on the structure of the team. If a team has a more solid defensive structure  I believe they will be solid defensively and when they have an offensive structure the team will be more clinical in front of goal and they will hardly play draws. It's no surprise that Arsenal plays a lot of draws, it's because they have a defensive structure that's why even  with more points at the end of the season they are still not praised as they should. Football fans really love a thrilling and interesting football game that's why the whole world were impressed with PSG vs Bayern Munich game. No one cares about a defensive structure it bores them.

Chelsea not making it to UEFA competition is not really sad for me after we missed  the Champions league and Europa League there wasn't any need to fight for the conference league position. It's all good I want to see the heat in the team and management because man it's tiring when the fans are the ones often facing the disappointment.

I wonder what kind of influence or control will be given to Xabi Alonso regarding getting quality players especially defensively and attacking wise.

Just as it was a blessing in disguise for Manchester United missing out from the Champions League competition qualification, it could also be the same for Chelsea next season with a new manager Xabi Alonso who is also a sound manager and can bring a huge effect, I mean a positive effect on the players for Chelsea.
We should all look at what he's done with Bayer Leverkusen, if he can do that with a low squad with less funds, Chelsea with all the management backing could do more with him.

Yes, hopefully Chelsea in the hands of Xabi Alonso will develop better next season, and make the right recruitment, because quite a lot of current players are not reliable, they must be removed immediately. But about winning the title, I would not expect much, for now the realistic target is to return to competing in the top 4, at least they must immediately return to the UCL competition. If it still doesn't work, maybe the problem is with the management, not the coach.

Liverpool did not deserve to go, they did not won anything, not the Europa, not the conference, not top four in the league, and yet they are going only because of other teams success. Chelsea is not worse than Liverpool in that situation.

Strange right, I’m glad Arteta had to defeat Manchester city first before Guardiola left the club otherwise many will talk down on Arteta not being able to win the epl trophy as a result of Guardiola dominating the league. Alonso coming to Chelsea will not have a great impact if he fails to choose the right players and cooperate with the team, these past seasons I observed many club lack cooperation and how to work together in order to achieve a goal, I believe Chelsea is part of this circle too although let’s watch and see what’s next for Chelsea if truly Alonso is the right one, Chelsea brag a lot about Alonso which is quite understandable due to the struggles faced by fans and team members though Alonso is a good coach so I’m expecting a better team but, not quite sure if he’s a threat to Arteta.

If West Ham wants to return to the Premier League, they must properly prepare their squad for the Championship next season. They are lacking in all areas, and I think they need to overhaul their squad significantly to be more competitive. This will be a huge challenge for Nuno, but they need to do it because they can't afford to retain most of their players with their finances already impacted by this relegation.

With how West Ham currently they can used the squad to to perform well in championship and get the opportunity to qualify to the premier league again and I get the believe that they will do well and qualify again with how buying players to the team. West Ham is big club and is just that they are very weak this season and I didn’t expect they can perform weak and go to relegation.

He as be many seasons West ham go to relegation but this time they fail to continue in the league competition and other club overtake them and fall in to the victims. Let watch how next season will goes and know if they can do there best and qualify to the EPL again or continue playing the championship for main time before moving to premier league.

You just cannot predict the premier league you know. Signing of players is no longer the main objective, it is about your players been in form throughout the season.

Remember Liverpool signed  Alexander Isak (British record signing), they also signed other star players, but they still struggled to qualify for Champions league. The same thing happened to Chelsea, they signed Estevao, Delap and other good players too, but they are not playing in Europe next season. This shows that clubs should sign players that fit their playstyle, and players they are sure will improve their team positively.
Galatasaray president said the club has no interest in selling Oshimen. So Chelsea will have to find another better striker for next season.

Yes thought on that is completely correct.  The Premier league i know is completely different from other tournament that can be predicted  by the signing of new players and player quality. In the world football  now, I  can clearly tell you that the premier league is one of the most competitive tournament where it is very difficult to predict the accurate results of games.
If attention is clearly given on the just concluded premier league,  you can openly and boldly tell people that the outcome we get in games at times goes different from the assumed  of predicted outcome. Which is why victory in the English Premier League can never be determined by player signing

Honestly, I don't or do not see much of a difference or gap between 60 points Liverpool ended this season with and the 52 points Chelsea ended the season with as well, it's just a difference of 8 points.
For me, their rating is not really about the number of points each of this team managed to accumulate all through the season, it's more of their rank on the league table.

Liverpool earned the 5th place in the league table and qualified the champions league, while Chelsea on the other hand earned the 10th place and didn't qualify for any league matches, so I agree with you, Chelsea is a much more failure that Liverpool, infact, I would say that Liverpool actually did their best, but many actually consider them the worst team simply because they were the team that won the 2024/2025 league title, many probably expected them to perform better this season but they didn't..

I think both teams underperformed. We often see champions struggle the following season. This didn't happen much in the Premier League because City has built a big dynasty in recent years. But I think everyone saw Liverpool's decline coming this season. Chelsea weren't doing too bad early in the season but they lost 6 in a row in March and April. That caused them to fall behind.

As for the season's losers, we can count Chelsea and Tottenham. At least Liverpool secured a Champions League spot again. The season's winners aside from Arsenal were Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Brighton and Sunderland. I think we can add Brentford as well, as they'll play in the Conference League qualifiers. These teams exceeded expectations. Premier League is really the best football league in the world.

But we can all see visible improvements can we not?! They literally moved from a shambolic performance to this under Carrick and if he gets backed with squad depth, who knows what he could do further?!

It is indeed very sad to see a team as big as Chelsea like this, and Todd Boehly has spent a lot of money, yet the results are still not visible. I believe you are the only one feeling that way, especially including Chelsea to the list. Barcelona are definitely trying to make some good signing in the market this season and that might improve their team, but I don't know why Chelsea is included in this conversation, maybe you are a Chelsea fan that just wish for Chelsea to do well, which I think.its okay as a fan, but in reality I don't see that happening,  because they just got a new manager and I don't see anything special about Xabi Alonso and also Chelsea is just trying to build a team for now, so I don't think they will be scary as you have predicted.  I think their aim should be to end in champions league position at the end of next season, but forget about winning the league.

Manchester United fan base is definitely something to write home about, their fans are more toxic and they always think outside the box. Manchester United players have been incredible, I'm not disputing the fact that other players doesn't deserve it but they're checking the stats, explicitly the G/A of these players, you know the EPL wouldn't be accountable for unfair treatment. Manchester United most important player thiss season, Bruno Fernandes have been really special this season, making counts for 21 EPL assist this season alone is crazy and broken Thierry Henry and Kelvin De Bruyne record, this is GREATNESS.

Bruno Fernandes has truly created a masterpiece, it is not possible that a single player can be so impactful for a team, which has done everything to try to get as far as possible, clearly this team is excellent and they have laid solid foundations for next year which at this point i believe could be theirs.
