I have been so distracted by the champions league that I almost missed the news that Slot has been sacked. Liverpool fans are more happy about the decision than anybody else. Yes I?m absolutely happy that Arne Slot have been sacked, it was long overdue for him because his performance all throughout the season was so terrible, that Liverpool conceded goals for fun, and he lost so many games, at some point in the season I couldn?t recognize Liverpool anymore, I didn?t understand how they were playing anymore, it was just a very bad and awful performance all throughout the season, I was surprised that he was still at the job till when the season ended, he tactics was just unrecognizable.

I?m looking forward to the next manager that Liverpool will be appointing, I hope it?s a good and better manager compared to Arne Slot who was confused of what he was doing ever since he won the Premier League and went to Ibiza to celebrate, since his return the team have been very very poor.

Liverpool's main problem is not the manager, certainly the way of playing is certainly not what we are all used to seeing usually but it is not necessarily the manager's fault and this will eventually be seen when in the next few periods several of them change and they are unable to adapt, it is everyone's problem now.

Perhaps the problem stems from the players, I don't know, but after winning the championship last year, I don't find their performance this year to be normal. Liverpool also strengthened their squad and added many young talents. Despite this, they haven't been able to deliver the desired performance in either the Premier League or the Champions League this year. I actually think they have a chance of success next year after a change of manager.

Exactly, no one can tell if this incoming coach will do better or not but with the mentality and the kind of players the team has already I'm sure they will still do better next season but what I can not really tell is if the man can replicate what Pep Guardiola has done for the team because winning premier league back to back 3-4 times in a row is not easy

Replicating Pep achievement of winning 4 consecutive titles will be difficult for Maresca because Pep is one of the genius coaches, but if it is to present the title without having to do what Pep achieved, Maresca certainly can  Man city has the power in finance, any player Maresca wants will be granted easily. Like a painting, Maresca has been given quality tools, just his hands to paint a quality painting.

Replicating Pep Guardiola's achievement of winning 4 consecutive English Premier League titles? I don't mean to be disrespectful to Enzo Maresca but that's funny to read. I strongly doubt the club management and fans will be expecting him to match Guardiola's record. Let's just hope that he'll at least help them stay competitive and not get sacked in less than 2 years.

I'm not a Liverpool fans but deep down I I like this decision that is taken by the management, like I have been saying it times without number that Arne Slot has absolutely nothing to offer to the team, some were saying he won the English premier League title for Liverpool, English premier League title that Klopp has already won before moving out, he only came to tap from the glory and Liverpool fans was thinking they've got a good replacement for Klopp, but as the new season began he was totally exposed, even after signing some world class players, I'm just happy he's gone.

You're either day dreaming or being delusional. The Premier League Competition will not be won by Arsenal against next season, it should be Manchester United.
The season is not yet to start and the management are moving fast making sure that they have their midfield improved and all signed up.
Everybody entitled to his opinion but it'll be a tough challenge for the Premier League Competition, and I be confident about it not being for Arsenal.

Haha, that's a very good meme there 😁, I am an Arsenal fan way back from childhood and if anything, I would love Arsenal to win the Premier league title again, again, and again and again still, but to be more realistic, we can't under-estimate Manchester United if we must be honest with ourselves.

A man with good goals to achieve never stops struggling for from winning one challenge comes another challenge, from defeating one enemy comes another enemy, from getting over one opponent comes another opponent, for who much is given, must is expected..

Manchester City which is the closes rival and nightmare Arsenal had maybe gone wit the leaving of pep Guardiola, but then judging from how Manchester untied performed last season, they may likely be the new replacement for Manchester City just incase Manchester City fail to maintain their performance going forward in the coming season.
So Arsenal must not underestimate Manchester United before next season begins, lets wait and see how each team performs in the first two weeks when the season begins, then we can begin to argue who has better chance of winning the league title and who doesn't.

Despite the change in manager, I think Manchester City will be contenders for the championship next year with their good squad.

I don’t also think there will be a decline in Manchester city performance by next season, Pep Guardiola have been able to build a strong squad already, so any manager thats going to join Manchester City will continue from where Pep Guardiola stop, and Maresca which will be their coach by next season is a dangerous coach also, he is so talented, and I will say Manchester city will be a dangerous club by next season.

Next season is going to be a tough season, most of the top teams will really be fighting for the premier league title by next season. Some teams that didn’t perform so well this season, will surprise us by next season, let’s just see how all teams are going to perform.

I think most people fail to understand that, there's a difference between a healthy rivalry and refusing to give credit where it is due because it's not your club, rivalry makes football very entertaining because you will always see fans defending their teams and criticising other teams. If Arsenal have had a successful season by winning the champions league, their success would have been acknowledged regardless of either you are their fans or not and it's the same thing for Manchester United or any other club, success can easily shut the mouth of rival fans and commending a team doesn't mean you are trying to abandon your loyalty to your team. And as for the criticism that Arsenal received, it's a normal thing, the more you begin to grow as a team, you attract rivals too and they will always want to look for the negativity just to criticise you as a team.

I’m simply stating facts, Chelsea were horrible in the just concluded season; Manchester City are not going to be as tough without Pep, they may even revert back to their dark days; Liverpool are far from being an elite team; the only competition I see at the moment is Manchester United, and I doubt they can stop us.

Bayern Munich didn't permanent his deal after the expiration of the loan deal so he's definitely returning to Chelsea. The problem now is that Chelsea have a new manager in Xabi Alonso and he's yet to publicly make it known to us wether he'll be working with the Senegalese striker next season. The good thing for Nicholas Jackson is that he'll feature in this summer's FIFA World Cup so he has the opportunity of convincing Chelsea's manager that he can be counted on by putting out a good performance. If he performs well, even other big clubs in Europe would want to sign him should Chelsea decide to part ways with him.

I don't understand either why some media and people saying about these news as a surprising one. The unexpected thing was to keep him although the failure management and the expensive and useless transfers. From what I saw, Andoni Iraola is no longer training Bournemouth and several teams including Liverpool are trying to attract him. Other options are in the mind of Liverpool administration including Sebastian Hoeness from Stuttgart and Pierre Sage from Lens.

Actually there are many potential candidates to replace Arne Slot, such as
- Sebastian Hoeness
- Oliver Glasner
- Pierre Sage
- Luis Enrique
- Andoni Iraola

But based on some rumors I’ve read, Andoni Iraola is the strongest candidate. to be honest, I don’t know much about Andoni Iraola. However, reportedly he is also quite close to Liverpool’s sporting director, Richard Hughes.
But usually, Liverpool doesn’t take long to find a new manager. Just like when Klopp left and Arne Slot arrived.

For now nobody can predict how next is going to be for Manchester city without pep Gaurdiola. I still believe even without pep Gaurdiola been there Manchester city will definitely perform well next season.
Last season most of the big team in premier wasn't really performing well especially Chelsea and Liverpool. There performance was very poor compared to other seasons.

Delap is good for nothing, I wonder what chelsea saw in him that made them sign him. Although I'm not going to blame them for that because the young man has been doing absolutely well in his former club, but when he joined chelsea everything changed. I think he's not fit to play for chelsea more especially in that position, it is as if the position is to big for him to handle.


Putting Jackson in delap's position I'm sure he would have been more productive than that good for nothing, if they can't look for a good striker then jackson is somehow manageable.

If Manchester City can continue with this squad and Enzo Maresca continue to them next coach, I believe that Manchester City will have a good season next year and possibly win trophies. Enzo Maresca knows Manchester City inside and out, and he understands how Guardiola always treats his players. Therefore, he will hardly face any challenges managing the players. So, let's expect a great season from Manchester City next season.As for next season, I can't really say what is going to happen because the season has not started yet. Currently, we do not know what kind of players teams will sign to strengthen their squads or which players they will sell, which could weaken their teams. We have to see these changes happen before making predictions about next season.

However, based on the current form of the teams, I don't think the Premier League will be very tough because only Manchester United, Arsenal, and Manchester City are in great form right now. These are the teams most likely to challenge for the league title. Chelsea's form and Tottenham's form have been really poor, so they may struggle to compete at the same level.

Honestly as Liverpool is the secondary team I support, I was quite estactic when I saw the news because Liverpool was really bad this season and just managed to get a Champions League spot by a thread especially after an excellent performance the season  before this. But looking at the scarce coaches available, the best might be Iraola from Bournemouth.

Chelsea actually underperformed far below expectation and it was unfortunate for than because their woes actually started when there were few games to the end of the season and they just didn't had time to recover and get back to the top top five places as Liverpool did after a poor season start.

Chelsea lost badly in the last half of the season. The team faced consecutive defeats. And in the end, Chelsea was in tenth  place in the points table. Despite the fact that chelsea's squad was quite strong, their performance was weak. Chelsea spent  330 million+ on buying players this season. This is a very big amount. Anyway, chelsea was able to earn about 280 million by selling players. Even then, despite spending such a huge amount, we have not  seen any improvement in chelsea's performance. Last season , chelsea was in  fourth place in the table, but this season their position is in tenth place.

One of the main problems Chelsea was facing that led to their underperformance was the lack of a good coach to have carved out the talents of the players into strong weapons through a good tactics and skill. The coaches Chelsea have had just in the last two years are just below the standard of the club aside from Enzo Maresca who made some tangible effort but wasn't given the time enough to build the team. Xabi Alonso is now here, we wait to see what fragrance he brings into the team.
