Xabi Alonso not really good coach in my opinion although winning Bundesliga tittle with Bayern Leverkusen but failure as Madrid's manager, he stays without six months when appointing as Madrid manager before sacking from his position. Not bad ideas for Chelsea management give him opportunity become the manager but Premier League is quite difficult competition and Chelsea has bad reputation easily sacking manager almost every season.
Premier League quite difficult for predicting and I am not sure yet Alonso will be success with Chelsea, however he needs time adapting the tactical and management must me patience give him time get progress to make Chelsea back as the top fourth premier league teams.
A coach could fail at another team and do better in another so there is always no harm in trying, Xabi did well at Leverkusen but some how did not do same at Real Madrid but there i will not say he really failed at Madrid, i will rather say a lot of factors led to his poor productivity at Madrid and let us see if at Chelsea it will be different and he will be able to achieve as much as he did at Leverkusen but then much should not be expected of him in this first season because it will take some time before he will start producing the kind of results they look forward to see from him.

There are too many football fans sleeping on Tottenham Hotspur already. They were bad last season I admit, but sleeping on them under the new guy De Zebri?! Something I wouldn't advice. They're already making creative moves for players already, Savinho, and others. I'd say they finish top 6 next season and qualifies for European football under him. What say you?!
I am very upset with tottenham management. Their performance in the 2024-25 season was bad. The team was in 17th place in the t able. But they were able to win the europa league title. Tottenham should have tried to strengthen the squad more at the beginning of this season. But they did not do it. They are very lucky to have avoided the relegation zone. I do not expect much from this team next season either. Being in the top 6 of the table will be a big challenge for tottenham. If Tottenham can qualify for the conference league, then perhaps the fans will be happy.

His time at Real Madrid was not the best of his managing career and he was not giving any benefits of another chance to try till the end of the season. The condition that Real Madrid ended the season with wouldn’t have been that bad if they didn’t back Xabi Alonso. He was more of a batter manager than Arbeola. In the first season of Arne Slot with Liverpool, he won the premier league that’s to show that even in the first season of a manager, they can prevail and win the trophy. I am also looking out for what Xabi Alonso will do and transform in Chelsea when the season begins.

In my opinion, Xabi Alonso cannot be considered a failure at Real Madrid. Just look at his stats: out of the 34 matches he managed, he suffered only 6 losses, and that’s not a bad record. Xabi Alonso chose to step down mid-season from Real Madrid because the management didn’t support him, so he couldn’t control the locker room. The Premier League is indeed a tough league, but if Xabi Alonso is fully supported by Chelsea’s management and given enough time, he can improve Chelsea’s performance. Although Chelsea often fires coaches, I hope that doesn’t happen to Xabi Alonso this time, and I’m confident he can prove his quality and stay at Chelsea for a long time.

His time at Real Madrid was not the best of his managing career and he was not giving any benefits of another chance to try till the end of the season. If Chelsea can perform well next season then it will be Chelsea's luck. But Chelsea have played very badly this season. Their performance has been very boring. Despite having a strong squad, they have performed poorly consistently. The players in the squad lack confidence. They have not played well against smaller teams either. And that is why we should not have high expectations from this squad. Real madrid management made a very quick decision about Alonso. They gave Arbeloa a lot of time. And madrid's performance got worse day by day. If alonso had been given time until the end of the season, madrid could have played better. I believe they would have been able to secure at least one title. This was the biggest mistake made by madrid management this season.

Xabi Alonso reportedly been given full confidence to coach Chelsea. And he has a contract long enough to build a strong foundation for the Blues. Chelsea seems to have welcomed Xabi Alonso warmly too upon his arrival. As for his previous tenure at Real Madrid he cannot be considered a failed coach. He was still able to deliver excellent performances on many occasions or even in important matches for Real Madrid. However Xabi Alonso did not seem to have a strong enough rapport to maintain harmony among the Real Madrid players at the time. He also faced internal conflicts with some players. But now Xabi Alonso has a great opportunity to build his reputation as a coach who can make a significant contribution to Chelsea. So I personally believe that Xabi Alonso can have a very positive impact on Chelsea given that they’ve welcomed him with full confidence. The Chelsea players also don’t seem to have the same big egos as the current Real Madrid players. And I’m confident that will help Chelsea deliver outstanding performances next season.

Xabi is a more reasonable option for Chelsea at the moment, even though he failed while at Real Madrid, that shouldn't make us so quick to say that he is a bad coach, it's possible that Real Madrid's tougher environment means he can't develop his ideas optimally and also the players' egos are so difficult to handle making him unable to create strategies that can improve the team's condition. so with the opportunity given by Chelsea, Xabi should be able to become a better coach, maybe like he was at Leverkusen.. moreover, this is a pretty good opportunity in his coaching career, if he succeeds then it will be very good for his portfolio.

Chelsea's owner must certainly give Xabi Alonso time to rebuild their team, as the team's journey to strength is certainly not a quick fix, it requires time and effort. We have seen significant success with Xabi Alonso's coaching style, which saw him lead Leverkusen to the Bundesliga title. Therefore, he must be given the support and time to bring Chelsea back to competing at the top of the table.
It's true, things with Xabi Alonso are gradual; you have to give him time to build the team. You can't go to a club and do what he did at Real Madrid, where he only won the Club World Cup and that's it. It's very difficult. Preparing a team isn't so simple; maximizing each player's abilities and making them suitable for his strategy isn't easy. That's why he needs time. Perhaps that was the mistake he made when he first arrived at Real Madrid.

No definitely not, Alonso wasn’t a failure at Real. He was sacked because ill discipline and a distinct lack of professionalism and work ethic is rife in that squad. Players fighting, refusing to follow instructions. Alonso was 2nd in La Liga and well placed in the CL when he was sacked. Reportedly Vini Jr. was a big reason why he was sacked. Hopefully Alonso gets the time he deserves at Chelsea.

So, we actually already have Arsenal as PL champions this season, they got it with a long drama at the end of the matchday. We can leave that discussion now & see how the bookies project the next season in PL. Image Source: Rollbit So far, they make Arsenal the most likely team to win PL title next season. I know they're the strongest team this season, but I'm not convinced they'll win the title again next season. What about you? do you believe Arsenal will win the title next season?

Xabi Alonso not really good coach in my opinion although winning Bundesliga tittle with Bayern Leverkusen but failure as Madrid's manager, snip
Alonso's time at Real Madrid was a disappointing one that is for sure. But with only 6 loss out of 34 match and his extraordinary win rate was not something to be thrown away. Actual problem there was dirty dressing room politics and lack of full backup from club's management. In my opinion the way he went to Leverkusen and went undefeated for entire Bundesliga season proved that if he was given right time and right amount of trust then he alone had the power to turn the table So bringing Xabi Alonso to Chelsea is undoubtedly a high risk / high reward step. If Chelsea are patient enough to not get the itch to chase him from the coaching chair. Then he has the real talent to put Chelsea back among the league's top favorite in my opinion

Mourinho, Klopp, Ancelotti would you call them failed coaches? There are many big and famous coaches like them who even after struggling at one club are going to another club and lifting the trophy In fact the Premier League is a dangerous and competitive place to be and Chelsea has an old and dirty habit of making scapegoats of their coaches. If he is given a good time to organize the team according to his own brain like Leverkusen then he can bring Chelsea back on track. But it is unrealistic and foolish to think that he will show miracles like magic bullet in the first season

I think Real Madrid regrets it now. Because they didn't even give him at least a year. He might become one of the best managers of the future, but I think it was a mistake for Real Madrid not to give him that chance and to finish the season with Arbeloa.

I feel Maresca that was sacked was one of the reason why Chelsea performed poorly, I feel if they didn’t sack Maresca, they will have ended the season in a better position. When a club keeps on changing coaches when the season is still going on, it’s always affecting the club. Chelsea sacked Enzo Maresca, and they went to sign a coach without experience which really affected them so much. With the coach which they are having currently, Chelsea should be able to perform better by next season, and am sure Chelsea will be signing some experienced players this time around, they not going to be signing inexperienced players.

I will only agree with you based on this, Enzo Maresca was better than any other replacement Chelsea had, Enzo Maresca Chelsea in the English premier during the time he was sacked weren't that impressive although I think there wasn't enough problem in the team to warrant him being sacked but if you are to sack a special coach like Enzo Maresca I believe his replacement should be someone capable and not the experiment they did with Liam Rosenior.

Xabi didn't fail at Real Madrid let's try be realistic here, during Xabi Alonso's time at Real Madrid despite the fact he was not used to that league in terms of coaching, he was still giving Hansi Flick a tough time, he literally was toping the Spanish La Liga, until he's sudden sack, it was then Hansi Flick took over, so in my own opinion he didn't fail in Bayern Leverkusen neither did he fail at Real Madrid, so now he's in Chelsea that should be a thing to worry about, because I'm quite certain he's coming with a different mindset after all that has happened to Chelsea lately.

Chelsea have to offer him what he wants. Because I think Xabi is one of the best in the world at managing young players. He won the championship with Bayer Leverkusen thanks to this quality. Chelsea, on the other hand, is a team that can acquire many young players and has talented youngsters in its squad. Xabi can succeed there. He can find himself in the Premier League.

Hmmm, quite disappointed because Man Utd should be third after Man City, not Liverpool, this is just my view after seeing how they played this season. When it comes to Arsenal, it's fair to say they're still first on the list as favorites to win, although I also don't think they'll end up the same as this season (winning the title) unless Arteta makes improvements in the attacking side of his squad, not that it's bad, it's just that their attacks are sometimes monotonous. Gyo still can't give his best quality for Arsenal

has good players in the team don't think Xabi Alonso is going to inherit a dead team because the former manager lacks good coaching skills that's why his players were affected by his actions. Xabi Alonso will not automatically take the team to 1st position but the performance of the team generally will be improved and the players will start scoring goals unlike before when they will play well but find it so difficult to register goals. Chelsea management knows exactly what is going to happen under the new manager they will give him time but they still expect him to get a fast result if possible.
I know Chelsea still has good players and Xabi Alonso won't inherit a dead team at Chelsea. But since Chelsea got new owners, no coach has been able to get it right at Chelsea even when the coach inherit a good team at Chelsea, so even with the good players at Chelsea right now, Xabi Alonso needs to build a formidable team that will allow him to get outstanding results at Chelsea. Chelsea current squad certainly boasts quality players, But their previous problems were more complex due to a lack of strategy from their previous manager, leading to consecutive defeats. However, next season, under xabi alonso guidance, I'm confident chelsea playing style will be even better, as alonso is the type of Coach capable of bringing about change. Even if later xabi alonso hasn't been able to bring about significant changes in his first season at chelsea, Chelsea owners should understand that building a team with top quality play takes time. However, with their strong financial standing, I believe Chelsea not will find it difficult to strengthen their team by recruiting good players in this Transfer window.

You are right, my fear for this Chelsea team is the way that they take and treat their managers. Chelsea management is one that is not patience with their managers, coaches like Alonso are one that will like to build a team that will be competitive with time maybe two to Three seasons and so the big question is will he last long, initially when results are not going their way. Building a team is one that is very tasky and requires time and hard work.
