I didn't say I was blaming Guardiola, but I made it clearer to other users. So, there's no way I'm going to blame Guardiola or criticize him. I've already acknowledged that he's a great coach capable of delivering numerous trophies to Man City.

Criticizing Pep or blaming him for the loss of Manchester city because he did his best to make sure that they won the trophy in the previous season but unfortunately they didn't. Guardiola was undisputable the best coach in the premier league but arteta managed to take the spot light, let's see how long arsenal can keep up.

Yes,, it’s definitely true that a new player needs some time to build chemistry with the other players on the team, so it’s only natural that their performance isn’t at its best right away. After all, when chemistry hasn’t been established yet, it’s very difficult to play well, even if the player performed well on their previous team. That’s why there are quite a few players who used to perform well but saw their performance drop after moving to another team—this is caused by the difficulty in forming that chemistry. In fact, many players still haven’t improved their performance after several seasons due to slow adaptation,, which prevents them from performing at their best.

So,, that’s why a player’s poor performance on a team isn’t always solely the coach’s fault.. It could be that the player struggles to fit in and ultimately fails to communicate with his teammates, which prevents his performance from improving. But yes, we shouldn’t overthink this too much,, because ultimately, when it comes to Manchester City—which is currently set to change coaches—none of us can know for sure what their performance will be like afterward, so yes, we’ll just have to wait and see.

I don't think anyone should criticize Pep Guardiola for not winning the premier league in his final season, because I think he us the greatest manager and he has proved it over and over again. I understand that he really wanted to win the premier league in his last season,  but I think his players let him down and I must say that Mikel Arteta was also determined to win the premier league,  that was why it wasn't easy for him to win. I will not want to take anything from Pep Guardiola, so i don't think it will be right to criticize him for not winning the premier in his final season.  In my opinion he is still the greatest manager of all time and he still deserves a lot of respect.

Arne Slot is a thoroughly good manager. Many people say that he won the Premier League last season riding on Klopp's coattails, but I don't see it that way. Yes, Klopp left a massive legacy at Liverpool, but if Slot were a bad manager, he would have ruined everything. Instead, he not only improved the team's play but also won the Premier League.

One thing will remain,  he is a Premier League winner after all the criticism. It is something Erik ten Hag didn't have nor did Ruben Amorim.
Yeah that is correct bit he added his ideas and also ball possession tactics during game they're leading. He adopted that style of play of Jurgen Klopp but suddenly changed it this season which changed a whole lot. He had a fall out with an important player in the dressing room. Also, I don't see it this way always but I do think that the death of Diogo Jota also affected them psychologically. Proud of the way he handled all that but when you get the total loses hes had, it is about time you leave then.

You’ve got something mixed up there, De Bruyne has been playing for Napoli for almost a year now. By the way, he’s still getting injured just as often as he did at City. But even without De Bruyne, City still have a lot of top quality players, and Guardiola did a great job refreshing and preparing the squad over the last season. Yeah, you’re right in this, he joined Napoli in the summer of 2025 after his contract with Manchester City expired. I just didn’t express my thought correctly before. I meant the following, that during his prime years, roughly from 2017 to 2023, Kevin De Bruyne was, in my opinion, one of the best midfielders of his generation. His vision, passing range, creativity, and ability to control the tempo of the game were on another level.

There were very few players who could read the game like him and consistently deliver those incredible final passes. And I think even if injuries affected him in his later years at City, his peak level was absolutely world-class, and he will definitely be remembered as one of the greatest midfielders in Premier League history.

Manchester City under Guardiola's guidance has done very well and this has meant that this coach has become much more sought after by everyone, we must never forget the good things that have been done, if this year things didn't go as they hoped, i think there was a reason.

I don't think that will happen. What if he wants to be the manager of another Premier League club? He built City. The City management and the players respect Guardiola enough. City are also ready to pay big wages. I don't think Guardiola will return to the Premier League after leaving City.

Guardiola can go into retirement. Guardiola is now 55 years old. But the biggest possibility is that Guardiola will now want to take charge of a national team. And he will target the 2030 World Cup. Guardiola is an experienced manager. He has won all the possible titles. Now Guardiola only has to touch the World Cup. Perhaps Guardiola is moving towards this target.

You remembered what happened last season when Liverpool emerged as the 2024/25 winner, Guardiola was announced to be having issues with his wife, they were about to divorce and that whole season was the worst that happened to Guardiola couple with the fact that Dr Bruyne left the club and there has never been a proper attack attack midfield, that was the worst that happened to the entire team until last season they became better but not like the peak Manchester City.

Haha if they understand Pep Guardiola's achievements managing Manchester City since 2016 then no one should blame him winning 6 Premier League trophies is a real proof and a record of winning 4 consecutive seasons 2020/2021 - 2021/2022 - 2022/2023 - 2023/2024 the failures of this season are nothing compared to his achievements, I think almost everyone agrees with this. So next season, let's see how far Manchester City can go with the new manager, can surpass Pep's record or could there be another drama. In as much as their will be total difference with when pep was in charge I still think the best possible person that can still replace him is Enzo maresca. This is guy who is very familiar with the players, the fans, and the culture at the club so he know what to do to be a success at the club. Maresca have proven even at Chelsea that he is good and can challenge for titles so for pep made a good choice in choosing Maresca as successor.

Manchester city are known for winning title and with Maresca little time at Chelsea we saw him win the conference league and the club World Cup for them. He have a winner’s mindset and that is what is needed at the club, and with pep guidance I believe he will succeed at the club.
