Enzo performed well for Chelsea, without any doubt. However, things are very different at Chelsea and Man City. Every single season, fans of city will be hoping to be in fight and that was not really case for the Blues last season. Regardless of whether fans like it or not, his first year will probably be a change one.

The situation with the team is also very important. Enzo task is even more difficult if key players are to leave due to their desire to join Pep. But future of De Bruyne could be the key to next season for City. I am still little interested. We'll see the summer transfer window.

Manchester City need to realise that they haven’t signed a second Guardiola, but a new manager who is taking over a situation that has been shaped by ten years under the same manager, and he will need time to adapt his style of play to the team, whilst the team will need time to adapt to him. Otherwise, they risk having a wasted season, but that wouldn’t make sense given the wages they’re paying.

Though City in this season had their performance dropped but it wasn't as bad as some of the top teams, and even if a new coach would be coming now it doesn't mean he would have to peak things with the club immediately, because from the look of things there would be players who will wanna leave as Guardiola is leaving.

Wow, I just found out that Enzo is the new coach at Manchester City. I think Manchester City still hasn't decided on their new coach. So, with this, I think the situation that Manchester City will experience next season will be clearer. However, I'm not sure if Enzo will be able to make Manchester City perform well next season. Because basically, Manchester City's performance is currently declining. So, it's certain that Enzo will be required to be able to make Manchester City play well again next season.

Because basically,, even though Manchester City's performance this season has decreased, when compared to other teams, Manchester City's performance is still extraordinary at this time. Because,, as we know, Manchester City still managed to win a trophy this season. So I think that's clear evidence that Manchester City is still performing well, even though their performance has declined slightly. Therefore,, I think Enzo definitely shouldn't worsen Manchester City's performance next season, because if Enzo makes Manchester City's performance worse, he will definitely be criticized by Manchester City fans. So basically,, this is a very difficult task for Enzo.

Probably, they arrived tired and worn out.
They managed to resist Paris Saint-Germain mind you, they were only beaten on penalties.
However, if they didn't have all this Premier League wear and tear they probably would have won, without going through penalties.

Today, a thought just came to mind and I kept wondering "what club could possibly sign Guardiola right now"? Because with his stats,  only but a few club could afford him and we know that every major club in every league has a standing coach already.

Maybe he could start coaching the National team just like Ancelotti or maybe a Saudi club that pays much better. He could also be out of a job for as long as he needs it to be, because clubs would definitely want that he becomes their manager; he just needs to make a decision.

So what are your opinions on this?

Pep is not a money whore, and he already won it all in the club football competition. So he's seeking a new challenge to coach the national team. If you have reguarly watched his interview, he always emphasize that he keen to continue his career as a national team coach after he has done with his club journey.

So i don't think he's going to the another club. He may be waiting for offer to coach the national team same as Ancellotti. This makes the rumor about him to go to the Saudi is impossible thing to happen.

I believe that Enzo maresca is a good manager that can take this Manchester City team forward, even though I don't think that he can achieve what pep guardiola achieved at Manchester City.
He knows that he has a big shoe to fill, and the pressure will always be there, even though he is highly rated at the club, but he has to deliver in his first two seasons, because if he fails to deliver a trophy in his first two seasons, his position may be in questioned because Manchester City are just too used to winning trophies consistently. So for him to maintain that faith they have in him, he has to keep on the winning run of winning trophies at the club because that's what they are used to.

That was why I said, next season will not be an easy one for the major teams. Matches will not be as usual again. Teams will sit up to face big teams. There will be a serious tension in the Premier League next season. Chelsea problem was the coach and with the emerging of Xabi Alonso as the new coach of another four years, things will be alright for Chelsea and they have have to use this opportunity well. These will be the teams to do well in the next season. Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United and Manchester City. Arsenal will face those teams for a fierce battle.

Maresca is a good coach and I believe that he understands Manchester City pattern of football because he has also learned from Pep too. He was working as the assistant coach in Manchester City 2022-2023 season with Pep as head coach before he left. I think, he will maintain the team performance and if he doesn't, Manchester City will still finish on top four on the table next season because the team can do pretty well without a coach based on what they have learned from Pep but they need a head to direct them.

I don't think it was intentional, it's a behavior that comes from the fact that these guys have never had a bit of a healthy spirit of risk, in that case if you want to win you have to risk more than the others in this case Arsenal have always played very well but in the final they worried a little too much and didn't play as they always do.

Barry2d I will completely agree with you, that scoring of arsenal which is meant to give more confident is a lost of confidence before them reason been that within 5 minutes of the game they where able to make a goal with their opponent which would have been more advantageous considering the magnitude and weight of the match they are playing to put greater effort and more tactical means if scoring another or possibly fence their eighteen but could not  saying they are 'afraid' I won't doubt such , what they need do at this point is to be more courageous because many condition of what they have face will come as opportunity but if they apply this first principle they used with PSG they may likely not smell the cup soon they should learn a lesson never given up and relenting in situations of scoring one goal as well reducing the effort as see in the last match is pathetic but no remedy as lack of courage become their barrier on that very match.

Arsenal lost from all sides in the final match I saw them very weak against the onslaught of PSG, but Arsenal played quite neatly in their defense which made it difficult for PSG to score goals. That night the European Champions League final was at the Puskas Arena located in Budapest, Hungary. Both teams were very worthy of being European Champions League champions but luck was on PSG side when Arsenal players Eberechi Eze and Gabriel failed to score goals through the penalty spot, this is common but they played all out in normal time. Arsenal played high level defensive tactics as well as PSG they played very well but if Arsenal made a mistake the score would be big for PSG victory

He is not ready for job at the very moment. Saw clips of him the other day playing golf, he is having a good time with his family and also sometime off now, but I feel you, I also have same thoughts of him managing the Spanish national team one day. He couldn't win the world cup as a player, then maybe he could do just the same as a manager with the national team.

There are some rumors that Spurs wonderkid Luka Vušković could be on the verge of signing for Barca. Don't know why Spurs didn't give him a chance; him, Van de Ven, and Romero could definitely rotate and maybe even, as the season progresses, manage to outgrow them. If this transfer is realized, this could be Barca's CB next season.

This debate about the Champions League final is interesting, Arsenal couldn't stomach this penalty shootout defeat, next Champions League season looks really interesting, do you think they'll reach the final again? i have doubts about that, Real Madrid are going to make up for what they lost this season in both the UCL and La Liga, same thing for Bayer Monaco and Barcelona.

the transfer market will simply be a very difficult thing, pleasing everyone will be a very difficult thing, this makes everything more complicated to bring back a team as great as it was at the time, it is most likely difficult, having De Bruyne's future clear is the thing they need to control best to make everything go well.

I have heard speculations more than once that Pep Guardiola wants to take charge of a national team. It even seemed like the Italian Football Federation offered him the Italy job. However, I doubt the Italians have the financial muscle to bring Pep in, and Guardiola himself would be highly unlikely to agree to take over such a troubled squad. Either way, Pep will most likely spend next season enjoying a well-deserved sabbatical and might not work as a manager at all.

Am very much eager to know whom the coach will be at Manchester city, I will like to see who takes over from pep and also to see what he does with the team,

I will like to see if he has a similar philosophy with pep and how he gets along with the squad especially now that it looks as if quite a large number of players might be on their way out of the club,

It is true, PSG did not expect that goal, but whatever was in their mind they goal was counted and it becomes what it is, with what I now understand, without that defensive game of arsenal, if arsenal had come of a bit, maybe PSG would've mess them up, Arsenal utilized what they have, but the mistake they made was to allow such a mistake that brought about that penalty to happen, PSG is more tactical side than arsenal, but I must say that Arsenal performed beyond my expectation in that match, was think that PSG will score more goals after they equalized the goal but arsenal did not allow that, although there were dangerous chances missed by PSG but arsenal still succeeded getting a draw in the regular match and the more added extra time before look take it's side.
