Most players and clubs don't feel the thrill that comes when the league has officially started, and this can make some teams perform very poorly, but the case will be different when the season officially kicks off, the atmosphere of the games and also the energy from the fans with the knowledge of the coaches on adjusting all the flaws from the games played will just make everything different.

I know it's a preseason game, but I'm not a fan of supporting a team that doesn't take them seriously. Like, common, they're been paid to put in their best as a team. There should be no excuse or whatsoever. A loss is a loss even if it doesn't count. They were actually leading in that game, but unfortunately lost it. Liverpool has been struggling as a team, but this is the time for the players to actually reflect on themselves, and decide if they want to continue like this. The coach needs to make a clear statement that losing is not allowed. This is where they have to start building the mentality, and not wait until the season starts. Well, I won't be surprised if one of the big teams fails to do well in preseason and also fail to do well when the season starts.

Yes I do agree with you pre-season games should to be used to judge a teams performance.
I got to see that Chelsea lost to Tottenham, and my friends tell me that, the new coach xabi has no effect in the teams performance, and they will still perform poorly, but if only he can understand football the way we do, I don't think he will say such.

We should understand why the call it friendlies, no tension no pressure, just play and adjust what had to be adjusted to get a good season ahead.

Wrong. It is not the same thing. Last season, Liverpool built a new squad from the beginning. Isak, Ekitike, Florian Wirtz, Kerkez, and Frimpong are replacements for Luiz Diaz, Arnold, Jota, Nunez, and co. Arsenal is adding to the squad, not replacing the team they have at hand. The right wing has always been an issue for Arsenal. The club spoke of sorting that out this season. The difference between Liverpool last season and Arsenal this summer is that Arsenal have the same squad that won last season's EPL, all available for the new season, unlike Liverpool, placing their player on sale to try rebuilding a new team.

At the time, it is always different when the current match is in the pre-season because usually it is to maintain and improve the physical fitness of the players when approaching the actual match to motivate the coach when there are mistakes or shortcomings in the match, they can be corrected.

The new Liverpool coach Andoni Iraola may be the first to get sacked because he suddenly does not look to fit the profile of a coach that Liverpool needs to win the Premier League again. The job looks a little bit overwhelming for him even from the preceding game and it's not like I'm judging too early but I think it is something that every Liverpool supporter will get to see when the season begins because as Liverpool has lost their star player Salah and now undergoing a lot changes, they now look like a regular mid table team on the Premier League compared to other clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea and even Manchester United who look currently more organized than they are.

Jordan Henderson has transferred to Chelsea despite his advancing age and signed 2 year contract. I didn't think Chelsea would go for a player of his age. He's a quality player but this seems risky to me. It's said they signed him to replace Andrey Santos. This could be a temporary solution. Henderson will benefit the team with his experience. I think nobody expect him to play 50 matches. He can make an impact as part of the rotation. He played in 32 league games with Brentford last season, if he would do the same this season that should be enough.

I agree with you, is not by spending much and getting new players, making good use of them is the most important. I also saw Liverpool dominating the EPL and winning the title but they disappointed the fans after that spendings, of Arsenal bring in new faces and they continue with the same style as if last season I don't see them struggling because they have suffered so much in trying and failing till they mow got it right and that has shown them that patience and better planning can get them to a bigger position which is what we saw last season, with how I see how serious they are getting the attention of good players, it won't be that easy for opposition clubs because the Gunners will be as strong as City when Pep Guardiola started his project with Manchester City.

Yes, that could be true, but it's certainly not a guarantee. Because sometimes when a new player joins the team, everyone has to adapt again to that new player, and that will obviously make the team's performance less than optimal for a while. So that's why I think if Arsenal brings in a new player to their team, whoever it is, they will definitely need to make a fairly complicated adaptation. So yes, looking at that, I think Arsenal is better off focusing on the players they currently have, because the players Arsenal currently have are already performing very well.

So they just need to change their strategy from always defending to being more open to being able to attack. Because basically, that's the current obstacle Arsenal is facing. So I think Arteta, as their coach, is certainly aware of this. So with that in mind, I think even if Arsenal doesn't bring in good players like Vini this season, they can still be a very strong team. Because currently, Arsenal has a very solid squad.

Chelsea needs more experience on the pitch, the loads of youngsters initiated by Blueco were almost directionless. I'm glad Xabi understands that experience is a major contributing factor. Chelsea needs someone on the pitch with lots of experience to direct the youngsters when they start their childishness and youthful exuberance. His combination with Enzo and Caicedo would be great. There's need for good leadership with experience on the pitch like was observed during the time T. Sylva was in the team. They need at least one more experienced dude. Xhaka would be another good addition, he's done well in Sunderland last season.

I agree with you because I, too, think Arsenal are the favourites for the upcoming Premier League season. The project at Arsenal, which began and is continuing under Mikel Arteta, is truly fantastic and very successful. They have signed targeted players of excellent quality, along with some talented youngsters from the academy, and their game plan has found great consistency, managing to attract world class players too, as is currently the case with Vinícius Júnior.

As long as they are able to coordinate well with the rest of the team, having good players doesn't automatically equal having a good team, their efforts if they end up bagging all of these players should be on making sure they can coordinate well with eachother and that takes time, Arsenal plays differently from Real Madrid so Vini Jr especially has adjustments to make it he ends up leaving Madrid for Arsenal though that's still not guaranteed to happen.
