Michael Carrick made himself look like he was Manchester United's savior but right now he's not, and I don't think Manchester United can be able to finish top four this season.
With the way Manchester United started the season, top 4 is just going to be difficult for them to achieve, if Manchester United doesn’t improve their performance, I don’t even think they will be able to play in the champions league by next season. Most people expected a better performance from Manchester United this season, but they performing below people’s expectations. I don’t know why people are blaming Carrick for Manchester United poor performance, Manchester United poor performance isn’t caused by Carrick alone. Manchester United have not improved at all with what they are playing like this. I’m not expecting any positive progress from them at all. Manchester United under Carrick is not showing up any good prospects. Is it from the formation or the squad or not being able to properly manage them. I am hoping they will be able to win their game against Fulham this time around since Fulham are at the bottom of the table. Zero games scored since the start of this season, one draw and 3 games lost. I don’t think Manchester United will be the first they will win against else it will be a big shame to Carrick and the entire.

Sometimes I wonder how devastating Carrick would be feeling about all this things because with how everything and his formation was working for him on the club late last season there is know way he would have envisage this season to be turning against all the strategies he had. Although the issue is not only about wining Fulham next match but the main thing is about keeping Manchester United competitive because after Fulham match they would also have so many though matches ahead and is from how strong they are they could have victory from many but as for Fulham I'm very optimistic even with this form United would win.

Manchester United needs those players who can score more goals, because for the moment the only one, and for some time now, who seems to be able to find the way to goals is Bruno Fernandes, who unfortunately for United, however, is a midfielder. United need more decisive strikers who give the team more security.
I am afraid the problem of Manchester united is more than getting a striker because I believe before now, all the players they bought were doing great in their individual/various teams so players are not actually the problem. For example, their striker Benjamin Sesko was doing great in his team I mean he was scoring a lots of goals in the Bundesliga and I believed that was why they signed him. Perhaps the league is not for the weak but I still believe that is not the problem because I can also remember Antony that was not doing well but immediately he left to Real betis everything changed. Manchester United under the current manager is much more than just the ability of the Manager to get things right with Manchester United, because Carrick really hard a godd run for his last season finishing and as tests of his current season players organization and substitutions that give team focus to succeed in match which in this season that have not been achieved yet and a pointer to how other factors like the management failure to get new players to fill in the front squad that can fill up Manchester United front and attacking to give the Club some goals. Finishing in the top 4 in this season is a thing with alot of questions, but even at that we should not put all blame on the head coach alone but also on the Club management that have put alot of pressure on players and coaches without any formal plans for their new entering officials.

If i were him I'll single handedly resign before my management career gets ruined, he asked for more players but what did they do? They gave him just four signings plus a goalkeeper on free transfer and all signings asides the goalkeeper are midfielders, am not against making the midfield stronger but now they can see that they did a bullshit business in the summer window. I wonder how they expected Carrick to work with such a team. I was thinking the board would give him more defenders like they did with the midfielders then sign few wingers and an attacker or two but no. Well the club is totally disorganized, the confidence of the players have dropped so low that it might affect them against Fulham, i feel pity for Carrick cause his players might get him sacked sooner than expected.

Im happy that Maresca managed to get a victory despite being one man less and against Carrick, who in the last three direct clashes lost two, while this time he managed to bring a decidedly important victory in an important derby. However, despite one man less, Manchester City held out until the end and even managed to come out on top.
Well, I hear you, because taking over a team previously managed by Pep puts an incredible amount of pressure on Maresca's shoulders. The team has managed to pull through, and you have to give them credit for that. You're right; they secured a massive result against Carrick's side, who, from what I've seen in the Premier League, just seem to be lacking a bit of luck lately. Coming right after City, this was another setback, making it two consecutive defeats for them. Haaland is obviously a massive advantage for City, and I also notice that Enzo has adapted well, even if there are still noticeable gaps with certain players. You can see it in how they read each other on the pitch. Maresca needs to be sharp here to keep the squad unified and keep this winning momentum going.

I'm honestly expecting a win for Manchester United against Fulham. Manchester United aren't playing badly; they just need a bit more cohesion among their players. As that improves, Manchester United will return to their good form from last year. They have a really good and high-quality squad, and they showed us what they're capable of last year. I still believe in Carrick, and I think Manchester United have just had a bad start to the season.

The moment Manchester United hired Micheal Carrick as the main coach, everything about the team changed. He was doing quite well as their interim Manager, it was able to bring them back to the champions league were they belong, but it is now appealing to me that something might be wrong somewhere behind the scenes at Old Trafford, making every coach that comes starts malfunctioning. However, he still has to find a way to make the players believed once again, either he will invent new pattern, or he will stig to his old patterns, . The game against Fulham this weekend is still not going to be an easy one. They will need to do everything humanly possible to win that game if they don't want their coach sacked, beci I don't see Man U as that team that can exercise patience that much in their coach. But for Carrick, I think they really have to trust him for the job they appointed him for.

Arsenal is the best team in this league this season and they were also the best last year year. They look even more shsoer this season because Odegard and Saka looks more shaper too. Mancity will still be that team that will compete with them again this season. They got some really good signings in the Summer, and that might help them compete fiercely with Arsenal. Their new coach is really trying as well. The other two teams that people were tipping to also compete with Arsenal are Chelsea and Man U, but they seem to have dropped off lately, teams are now beginning to see their weak point. Chelsea doesn't have good midfield, Man U does not have a solid midfield as well Mancity and Arsenal are the real deal, but Arsenal look more stable, therefore, they are the favourite for the tittle.

I know many fans expected Manchester United to start the season strongly enough to challenge for the title, especially given how well they finished the previous season. I’ve been a Manchester United fan since childhood myself, so I wanted to see them dominate the Premier League again. But the reality is that they aren't strong enough right now to compete with Arsenal. As for the match against Fulham, well Fulham has always been a tough side at home. But Crystal Palace and Chelsea have already beaten them away, and Fulham tends to play much more boldly at home. So I think we could see over 2.5 goals and both teams scoring. I’d probably focus on the goal total for this match, I don't think I'm ready to bet on a Manchester United win away at Fulham.

This problem with Manchester united has linger for quite a long time now, and it's very alarming, and the management is yet to find a solution to it, look at Michael Carrick that everyone thought was the Messiah, look at what he's doing now at the team, could this really be a course or what? Like the case is confusing, or could it be not giving coaches enough time to build like Arsenal did with Mikel Arteta? Like what exactly could be the solution to this their problem? Because this is not funny anymore, if not for the fact that Sir Alex has really built a very strong fan base for them, trust me they could've lost a lot of fans and support by now.
The problem with Man United up until now has been consistency, and that's what they're trying to fix through Carrick.. it takes time to be sure, and surely in that process there are things that affect Man United's performance.. Arteta's early days at Arsenal weren't smooth either, but management still gave him a chance and Arsenal ended up winning the league. So I think Carrick still has time to improve Man United's performance because there's no instant result, it all takes a process, and in that process there are bound to be periods where the team doesn't perform as expected, and right now Man United is in that phase. But if Carrick can get Man United to 3rd place like last season, I think he should still have hope to improve the team.. what he needs right now is just the trust to stay on as Man United's manager.

Brentford vs Chelsea will be the first kickoff match of the week 5 English premier league. The match is scheduled for 8pm today, based on analysis I expected Chelsea to win the match without much of stress. I wonder why the odd for the match looks like this, the bookies will probably be on the losing side if Chelsea eventually wins 1 (2.65), X (3.6), 2 (2.40) the high odd given to Chelsea to is a good one to bank on l, I don’t think Brentford is capable of winning this Chelsea side even if they will be playing away from home, Yes Chelsea have been conceding a lot of goals due to poor defense but they also got the best attacking player. Brentford have just won only one match and drew the remaining three they have played. Mean while Chelsea only lost to Arsenal and won two and drew one, I think no matter how poor the Chelsea’s side defense would be they should be able to to hold the Brentford attack so I give Chelsea a win, not going to sleep on rhat massive 2.4 odds.

I agree with you to a large extent. Man City unbeaten streak will take them to the top, especially with the way they fought back with a player down during the derby against Manchester United. Enzo Maresca has prepared his players with full preparation to win the trophy. But Arsenal consistent performance must be taken into account. Arsenal are playing their best and winning every match. Each team has played 4 matches in the tournament, only Man City and Arsenal have won every match.
I must say that i am very happy with what Manchester City is achieving, because i think that Enzo Maresca is a very good manager, who was not treated with due respect at Chelsea and who can now demonstrate his abilities at City. He has a team that still has the imprint of Pep Guardiola, but in any case there is quality in knowing how to maintain balance, given that many players have left.

If champions are established that quickly, then what good is a one-season Premier League calendar? I know Arsenal are an incredible team, but again defending back-to-back Premier League titles, it's not as easy as in the Bundesliga and La Liga.

Are you watching the same EPL or you just choosing to be ignorant. Yes Arsenal have been very impressive since last season but saying they should give them the league already after just 4 game is sounding like you don’t know football. Manchester city will still be a serious competitor this season, so far they they are still yet to drop points too, I think it just team and arsenal that still have 100 percent start to the season. There is one thing about this Manchester city team, they don’t concede much this season, so far I think they’ve only conceded 2 goals. It really going to be a competitive season, so don’t write off Manchester city.

Manchester City have performed very well because they have performed well in the Premier League and have performed well in the EPL. Where I have seen Manchester United team face to face with one player less and Manchester City team has been able to win. It was really interesting that the gamblers had completely claimed victory for Manchester United team and they placed bets, they lost completely and Manchester City team collected full points. So we cannot identify the team that won the league at the beginning of the season, in this case you cannot throw Manchester City team away so they are ready to perform well and they will hold this lead till the end of this season.

Arsenal's target might be the UCL, they won the PCL last season and couldn't win the UCL, if their target was the UCL then we might not see much good from Arsenal in the PCL. Before the season started, it seemed that we would see a lot more competition this season, because Arsenal are above everyone in terms of strength and after that we can put Chelsea and Man U and City as these teams. But since the start of the season, Chelsea and Man U have been performing very badly and if they don't take action soon, we might see them at the bottom.

In your dreams, from the way you speak it's written all over you that you're one of those Arsenal fans who thought that they'll win premier league back to back this season, and if that's what you guys got in mind it's not gonna be possible ok.oh you guys thought since guardiola's left Manchester City there's no England coach that'll challenge Arsenal? Should incase you don't know this go check history concerning Arsenal they've not won EPL back to back and it'll never happen, not even Arteta can breaks that record okay. Out of 38 matches they've just won four matches and you've already concluded that Arsenal have win the league, you'll be surprised by what you'll see soon.

This is what is happening right now to Manchester United, so it cannot be denied that Manchester United will return to being a mid-table team in the Premier League. Because their performance so far really does not reflect a team that will develop well. Because as we know last night, Manchester United lost to Brighton. In fact, in this match, Manchester United really needed a win. But eh, instead, they lost and lost points. What makes me a little surprised in this match, at the beginning of the match, Manchester United was able to play well and scored quick goals in the 8th and 10th minutes. But after that, Manchester United was really chaotic, they seemed to only defend and in the end, Brighton was able to turn things around. So with that, I can conclude a little that the mentality of the Manchester United players is currently not good, and the strategy implemented by the coach is also not good. So that is why Manchester United's performance is like it is now. Yes, it really is a team that is really struggling to get back on its feet.
Manchester United's performances are not convincing because they get a great result and then a bad one. Then a good one, then a bad one. So decidedly fluctuating results which do not give security to the team. I wouldn't want to be in Tarik's place and find myself in a similar situation where he doesn't really know how to behave either. For me Manchester United have a negative outlook.
