I'm also shocked that the game is ending 3:1, and Delap we watched from Chelsea is the same player scoring a brace against Nottingham Forest. This shows clearly that we don't know what Manchester City are contesting for this season, they nearly got knocked out of the Carabao Cup, and this is their second losses in straight matches in the Premier League, what happened today, is like already handing over the title to Arsenal, they know how to defend their position on the table, better than City.

Well, technically Arsenal are the reigning champions, so there is no need to hand the title over to anyone. But the fact that City have now lost three matches in a row and are already six points behind Arsenal is certainly a huge setback for them. On the other hand, I assume they realise that they could face a significant points deduction for breaching the Premier League's financial rules. They might feel that their chances of winning the title this season are already gone, so perhaps they want to focus their efforts on the Champions League instead. I don't know, but they certainly weren't any worse than Nottingham Forest today.

Nottingham Forest have shown so much of quality tonight, they have matched Man city man to man, am so impressed with their game play, what an exceptional goal too from Chelsea Delap, what is surprising me is that same Delap was not playing well when at Chelsea but has done so well tonight for Nottingham Forest scoring two goals, the Nottingham composure tonight is highly admirable, if care is not taken the game will end this 3:1 but let’s see what the remaining minutes will bring because Man city is always a hard nut to crack.

I didnt expect this from Nottingham forest that they would win this match at all. They were clearly better today then Man City and really deserved this win and these are huge points in the battle for survival for them. Man City lost some crucial points in the fight for the title and this goes well for Arsenal because they won against Hull.

With city's style of play in this second half, i see them equalizing and possibly winning the match, like you said, they just need to be patient and consistent, though the Nottingham boys are actually not giving up, they are attacking like there's no tomorrow, and while i am typing this post, they scored their third goal ...damn, just damn

Sadly, Manchester City has conceded another goal and the score is now 3:1 which makes it difficult for them to equalize because the match is around 75th minute, about 15 minutes more to 90mins. Manchester City are doing all the playing and getting ball possession while Nottingham Forest is destroying them by scoring more goals. I won't even be surprised if Nottingham Forest score another goal before full time because they have all the motivation now since they are 2 goals ahead.

Its a sad day for Manchester city and their fans, i was kind of getting convinced that Man city would make a great come back after their early goal in the second  half but just tens of minutes later, Nottingham forest scored what was their third goal in the match, and i think this goal is what further destabilized the man city players, watch how they dropped in performance after that goal.
I don't know exactly what to say might or may have lead man city to loosing against Nottingham forest today but i think they weren't simply unlucky, maybe they underestimated their opponent and didn't prepare adequately for the match, they must have judged Nottingham forest from their position in the league table and thought they would be easy to defeat.

At this point I must commend Arsenal for their consistency despite that they are only winning with one goal. Arsenal is set for 6 points gaps if Manchester City concludes this match with a defeat at Nottingham Forest.

For Kai I'd say today isn't his day, we know how he has helped arsenal come out a game they're suppose to draw, they should try get Saka back and dump Madueke, he's killing every counter attack in all their matches they played.

He shouldn't bench Gyokores for Havertz for too long, the team has a small margin for strikers, Saka is injured as usual, warming up every forward he's got will help the club get stronger in attack. Havertz, as we saw today, is not a consistent striker he's recorded about 15 offsides this season, placing him on top priority in every match, would weaken the attacking force of the team, seeing how inconsistent the striker is in utilizing opportunities.

Arsenal is in big mess if they continue to rely on Madueke to be the only replacement for Saka. I haven't seen anything reasonable he has played since joining Arsenal, look at how Arsenal are struggling to score and he has been the one that have been seeing most of the ball but no productive drive to get them a goal, miss after miss and if the ball is not given to him it becomes a problem. Arteta need to go deep into the market and get a better winger because as it stands Arsenal are struggling and also managing to stay at the top let's forget this winning they are getting every single game.

Don't blame Madueke for Arsenal's poor attacking performance, he has been impressive since Saka went out for injury, you should blame the strikers instead. Arsenal strikers have been poor this season, most of their goals came from the wingers and defenders. Kai Havertz and Gyokores have been inconsistent since the start of this season, that's why they can't score more than 2 goals. Arteta knows his attack is weak, so he imposed the tactics of scoring a goal and then park the bus, because he has a strong defence.

The wing is not the problem for Arsenal, the problem is an inconsistent CF, and that's what Arteta should be considering in the next transfer market.

Playing at home I expected that Arsenal should have scored over 2.5 goals, I was disappointed because Arsenal cut my slip as the game ended only 1:0 in favor of Arsenal. Arsenal played well in this game the missing Link was in goal scoring because, Arsenal was not too convincing in front of goal. Arsenal should do more when it comes to scoring of goals, if not I see problems going into the season especially in the champions league. If a club can't score enough goals then there is problem with the club.

Nottingham Forest have proven that with good tactics, confidence and team effort, it is possible to beat any big team. Delap's performance is also really amazing. Players do not always perform the same. He could not show his best game at Chelsea. But today he is playing great because of the change the environment. The team environment and the coach's plan also play a big role behind a player's good play. But Manchester City will have to find their mistakes as a whole to get back to their old form. On the other hand, Arsenal will take the biggest advantage of this situation in City. Currently, Arsenal's consistency is very good which will help them go a long way in the title fight. So, City will have to turn very quickly.

There were too many space for Nottingham forest to work with against Manchester city, and they worked with it scoring two goals without even registering that much of big chances
With the spaces Manchester city gave their opposition you would except them to be scoring too just like how Barcelona gives chances in their defense so that they can attack and score more.
Delap turned into a prime world class player on Manchester city defense which is good for his confidence but embarrassing for Manchester city.

I don’t know why people forget easily, they don’t usually study the opposition team before making conclusions.
This Hull City defeated Manchester United, held Chelsea to a draw, Aston Villa to a draw also; they have been very good against big teams because they also have defensive strength. I didn’t expect much from Arsenal because I knew they will come prepared and they did. They come to defend and they defended, but Arsenal were so lucky to score a goal in the match.

The three points is the most important thing for, the 1-0 win doesn’t matter, what matter is the points and this has give Arsenal another edge ahead of Manchester City because they lost their match to Nottingham Forest 3-1; this same Forest Arsenal defeated 1-0 again at their home; this explains how good Arsenal has been this season because they are getting three points against oppositions people think they will drop points.

Honestly,  Man city are just a shadow of themselves lately, losing 3-1 to Nottingham Forest, what a sad season to day be a man city fan, the ongoing case against them and the losing of matches they should have ordinarily won. I know they will bounce back by January perhaps it is just a temporary phase of difficulty. The squad has the spirte of fighting and they will don't collectively to gain back their confidence.

This was the most surprising game I watched today, before Nottingham were at the bottom of the table before this match, and this happens to be their second win in the Premier league since the start of the season. Nobody could predict that this was how this game was going to end, they played with every determination and secured themselves the win.

Man city now sits with three consecutive losses in a row, the first since the beginning of the season. Maresca needs to find the missing piece in his squad before it gets even worse than it is, I hope Man City gets the revival they need alongside United too.

Man City were helpless against Forest. i least expected this turnout. It is now three consecutive losses for Man City. The funny reality is that Brighton  might replace City in the second place tomorrow if they succeed in winning Brentford. The season is taking a different shape. its still not over yet for City, there is still hope of contending even though it looks. much difficult at this point. Jair Dunham who hasn't scored since he joined Forest got his first goal against City today. This will be a big leap in his career.

What even annoys me the most is Liam Delap banging 2 goals on my team. A flop at Chelsea became prime Messi against Manchester city. Watching Donnaruma week in and out always make me get anxious, Enzo Fernandez (he only play well for Argentina) and Gvardiol thank you for your foolish mistakes. Arsenal are now 6 point above Manchester city. The only luck we have now is that other top teams are not in a good form, if not we would have dropped to the 4 the position. With the way they started this season, I was already believing that they could win the title this year not knowing it was all a lie. I believe Enzo maresca should try to work on this team , I don't see anything good from that midfield, it's completely dead. Get a good CM( de Bruyne profile) and goalie this January. With the way it's going, I don't think there's any team that can stop Arsenal from winning the premier league.

Nobody saw it coming, but it's not something we should be surprised about because we have seen surprises more than this in football, football is quit an unpredictable game, their lost to Nottingham Forest gave Arsenal a great joy because the only team that should compete with them this season is not consistent, i believe that 3 lost in a row for Manchester City says it all.

Nottingham Forest had a strategy against Manchester City which is the counterattack strategy and it worked for them despite that Manchester City won in ball possession Nottingham Forest didn't misused their goal scoring opportunities.

Arsenal match results lately has been ending with just a goals difference so anyone who wants to chose the option of a handicap 2 or 3 is not making any mistakes but you know how gamblers goes about with their predictions. Arsenal hasn't been scoring many goals but you will still see gamblers who will be choosing over 2.5 goals even when they know that Arsenal attacks is not threatening enough to produce many goals. I like how Arsenal is winning their matches even though it's just 1 goal but they need to win matches like the Champions that they are because they are supposed to be winning some matches with 5:0 or even more, that's how Champions behaves.

If Arsenal remain like this until the end of the season, then they will win the trophy. Arsenal scoring just one goal in all games is not a problem as long as they keep winning and maintain the top of the standings that they are now. Arsenal are not known for scoring plenty of goals when it comes to playing, so I’m not surprised they only scored one goal but again, playing against a team like Hull City, many anticipated for more goals less than what they’ve scored in this game. Odds can be deceiving sometimes, but also games like this may be unpredictable and the outcome becomes a shocking one for everybody.
