hi guys, my account was banned a couple of days ago

I realized my mistake, this mistake will never happen again

Theymos sometimes gives pardons, but mostly only to reputable members. Your account on the other hand, prooobably not. Best of luck though.

The best case scenario you’d expect after admitting to having plagiarized some content is for a signature ban for a certain period of time, on the remote chance that your ban appeal on Meta were to be considered.

Yes, I completely agree with you that I broke the rules of the forum, but you can, in the form of punishment, deprive you of the right to wear your signature!

and as far as I understand, my offense was in 2018-2019, and now it is 2020, for about a year my account was inactive, and the violation for 2019 was discovered right now, why not earlier?

If you have been a good contributor of the community then you might have a small chance of having your account unbanned  but if your work around the forum was only joining bounties and then posting reports, then you might have no chance. All the decision is now up to the Global Mods.

I understand your concern because based on your last posts you are into a lot of bounty campaigns and you are using this account to report you will lose your participation, this is a lesson learned to all if you are into campaigns and you do not want to lose your campaigns then protect your account by not breaking the rules and make it a habit to participate in discussions to make your account credible.

So it means that you copy the content and it comes under plagiarism. You should know that plagiarized is a big mistake which is not tolerated here or any good platform. Although you have admitted your mistake and agreed to avoid it in future but this does not mean that your account will unban.

You're giving the answer to your own question: if you were inactive for a year, no-one would have started looking into your post history. Now you're active again and applying in bounties. Therefore, people rightfully check your post history to make sure you're not a shit poster, thus finding out that indeed you are - surprise - a shit poster.

Or did you expect people to congratulate you for not plagiarizing during the year your account was inactive?
