Valorant is actually pretty fun, especially with the novelty it provided compared to how cs:go and overwatch brought out their styles. Its diverse usage of each character makes each game a lot less boring, and there are some insane strategies out there that are pretty bs, but nonetheless fun to use. You need the aim from cs:go, as well as the brains to use each ability like in overwatch, though it still highly depends mostly on player skill. Ofc, I would naturally bet in Valorant, but for it to exceed Dota 2? I doubt so. Dota 2 has a lot of fans, and it wouldn't really be weird that the only way to exceed Dota 2 is IF Dota 2 leaves the scene, permanently. 

As for betting, no worries about that OP, even ESports groups have been making official teams already, as well as getting some pros out of retirement from cs:go into the valorant pro scene. Heck, afaik, someone already got poached from a cs:go team to a valorant team, I just forgot specifically who.

im not a counter strike player but i love this game valorant . there are also teen players that dont grow up with c.s but loves to try and play many games especially if the game has a good appeal like this one . marketing plays a major role for making the game popular , like the past games and apps that we see on the store  .  thats because its easy to promote now on many known platforms as long as you have a good budget .

Valorant is awesome, I've switched from CSGO to valorant completely.
I'm platinum 2 right now, it is hard to get a higher rank without proper team.
I'm betting from time to time on thunderpick - they have live betting on valorant + accept crypto.

I don't think some E-sport pro teams are already willing to create their own teams with regards to Valorant since we can see certain players from CS:GO taking over the Valorant Scene even though they are still a pro in CS. Maybe after a year since most notable players are still not given the opportunity to present their talent within some public lobbies even though we can see some significant plays. Roles are always important and that was not presented in the video since it only shows the superhuman reactions of some players.

Would you consider in betting in Valorant games? Do you think it would be much popular, as betting in Dota2, in the future?

I have already read of some thread here in the forum about Fortnite betting which is another E-Sport that share the same concept with Valorant so I think that it could be possible in the future that betting in E-Sports would be pretty much popular just like the traditional sports that we do know. I have already been playing Valorant this days and I do really have a fun and enjoyable gaming experience and the intensity would be added once betting would be linked into the gaming proper.

The answer to the question if I would consider betting with Valorant, yes of course. You were like hitting two birds on one stone for enjoyment and the possibility of winning the bet is at stake. I would surely enjoy and love betting on E-Sports more likely just what like I have when I am betting on traditional sport events.

I am not familiar with this game but as I have read through the internet with a quick search it seems like this game is like a counterstrike where terrorist need to plant the bomb and defend it while the other team will going to detonate the bomb planted. It seems like this one is strategic game and of course esports betting for this will be welcme. As we all know that esports betting are always open to new betting games that will likely to gather and get more audience to the betting platform. I've downloaded the game a few days back and what I can say is that gameplay is like a combined gameplay of CS:GO and Overwatch although it still has it distinct uniqueness that I enjoy. I would definitely consider betting on it. but right now I don't see myself doing it since I have no idea what team there is or what their stats is(if there already is) and I'm still figuring out the game on its own even though I already have a firm grasp of its basic gameplay.

well, when you have downloaded the game, you can also assess the tournament players, which you can see on YouTube and so on, make the game that you downloaded to try the game and see the level of difficulty to do it so you will know the players how the people who compete in the championship play and you can place bets because you will know which team is the best.

Aren't all games especially those that require team strategies and tactics do often end up being supported in a lot of gambling platforms and even being gambled offline? I'm nearing my Immortal rank any time now, but I haven't been grinding much since I'm currently busy with all the workloads and whatnot, and it's really a fun game.

Is that high? Like global elite?

Anyway, the game is a potential hit for betting due to its fast-paced action and some quirky gameplay mechanics. If I were to say it, it's like Apex Legends' skills, CS:GO shooting mechanics and Overwatch movement (some of it) were refined and balanced and you have Valorant. It's one of the best in its genre right now and a lot of organizers and big leagues are converging towards the said game which means more money on viewership and more money on sponsors. Also, Riot Games is reaching to its player-base more often than anyone else in the scene right now, so it's not really that hard to see it being added on sportsbooks as an event.

Currently there are only a few pro teams that are proving themselves on the playing field, but more and more tournaments are coming so expect that bookies also have their eye on this.

It's more flashy than CS for sure. More appealing to younger audience.

I find it like buildt for corner camping. There's so many camp spots and maps are built a bit like tight mazes with a lot of hallways.

It is possible, I've been playing valorant for a month now, I may not be that good in playing but I think it will be successful. Its like a CS GO but you will never be tired of playing it because of the different characters and skills you can play with. Its unpredictable too, you have to be a good fps player but you have to be cautious with all the character skills too. It really has depth of playing and I think it can be successful to gamble on.

Its a new game so there should be changes happening in the coming months for it to be better. New maps and heroes are exciting too. Twitch streamers are into valorant now, it means they love the game. It REALLY has a great potential.

The hype in esports is really in Valorant right now, I am not just 100% sure about it, but most of the esports page in our country Philippines, is conducting numerous tournaments in Valorant.

I just want to share, I am currently Gold 2 and previous Plat 2 last season, and I really enjoy playing this game in a point that I bought in game gun skins, and even merchs such as tshirt.

Going back, if there will be esports betting in valorant, it would be nice to not just bet but also become a participant of the matches. I hope I could improve my aiming but sadly, I think there's no hope.

Let me first answer this question about the popularity of Valorant compared to Dota 2.

When Valorant first released, more than 3 million players have played the closed beta¹ as compared to CSGO's closed beta to only 45,000 players. Of course, taking into consideration that Valve released only limited number of beta keys, we still have to appreciate the fact that Valorant took everyone by storm.

About its player count, reportedly, CSGO has lost more than 500,000 of its players ever since Valorant was released.² Even with the recent release of CSGO's Shattered Web Collection which also increased its player count, it still lost when Valorant was released on the platform.




Valorant Betting in the E-Sports Platform

Now let us talk about betting. Since we have established that Valorant has been dominating the FPS platform and more and more CSGO professional players have been switching to Valorant, what could be the possible future for its E-SPORTS betting?

According to the chart below³, the viewership in Valorant on Twitch has been decreasing over the past months ever since the game was released. Although this has been the case, it still ranks to #9 on the viewership count in Twitch. So the potential of the game getting bigger on the next few months will most likely happen and E-SPORTS betting will soon be considered.




My personal thoughts on the future of Valorant and its potential betting platform

The game has been out for a couple of months now and its popularity has been dominating the FPS platform. It is a new game which introduced several mechanics and shooting fundamentals in CSGO with an introduction of "abilities and powers" which gave the game a completely fresh experience to old CSGO players and to new players as well in the FPS scene.

I highly believe that betting in Valorant will soon materialize and become popular as the time passes by given that its competitive scene grows every day as Riot tries its best to reach out to these teams.

This might be true, Mobile games today are really good and some people preffer playing mobile games because of the lack of access on a PC. There is so much factors why some people are attracted on mobile games over PC games. Some big games are converted into mobile games like PUBG and COD that is reigning on mobile game platforms. This might happen into valorant if the developers want it to happen but as of now, PC gaming is their focus. I played CS for years when I was younger, can't remember the first version 1.5 (or something like that). I am playing LoL for 3 seasons already, and I really enjoy playing it. And now we have Valorant, combination of cs and lol, interesting I can say. I started installation, I will definitely try this one!
From time to time I watch some pro LoL games, I like to see how pro's are playing, but I don't bet on them. But do you know what would be really interesting for me? To make some series with some buy in, or we don't need to start with series right away, we can try to organize some games and to see how will it go?
