Casino design setup for failure? Is it gambling to loose by site design?

 I tried to give this casino another chance since I ran into some problems in the past - you know just figuring people still rolling there I might as well give it another try.. even my profit is - 0.

So I was playing on site with my phone - playing the  mines sweeper - equivalent game.. just before that a second to late my base-bet was max out and balance to 0.

So I sent complaint to that site support and this their response ( well the site owner response )

I replied telling him there is a thing called design for setup for failure .

Some of the websites do that's.

But, since there has some warning or event you are clicking the "max bet" button sometimes the layout of some casino giving some warning to the user about "did you want to do a max bet or not". If you already confirm the warning, there is nothing wrong at all the wrong is when we are betting and lose then the max button active by them self and without warning at all.

I believe since still has some warning, then nothing wrong at all. That's why we have some "PLAY TOKEN" or faucet to test all the feature if you are new on the casino to get know about their feature casino before going to the real balance.

Well, you say some casinos?  I did post other popular sites - they have max bet hidden away to prevent human error - but if the site has it openly laid out then its setup for failure. and you mention to play games with other tokens ? for what to get familiar with? Well This isn't the first time I had ran into this problem where max bet busted my balance.. yeah this was first issue complaints when this site was released.

You always need to click the button before the bets and some casino give some warning to do max button even you are miss clicked the button, so nothing problem at all for my self even the button was not hidden. In the chance of this problem, maybe just a few player let's say maybe 1:100 player that's i called shit happen sometimes. I believe almost every player who got miss clicked max bet, they will not complain if the game was win right?

You have 3 step before doing a bets.
- Clicked max bet.
- Confirmed did you want to do max bet or not (some casino have this)
- Then click the bet button.

After that's you bet was placed into the game.

With this three-step to do the bets, did you still not aware not betting your whole balance, well for my self this is not really miss clicked but just the player not really aware he was doing.

are you trying to qudo points for posting or just bored - there is no debate in this whatsoever - because you will never see a user complaining about maxbet accidentally busting in casino royal.bet  - stake.com - bitsler - wolfbet - fortunejack -  ( Because... guess what? - the designed they have is to prevent this type of incident and not to gain from users accidentally clicking on faulty or purposely )

I just commented from my own perspective as a player who always doing a max bet with my whole balance, you can see in the picture bellow my self doing max bet a few weeks ago in the button showup side right on x2 button.

Nothing problem at all with a button show up or hidden.

For the sake of interest, I checked and indeed many popular online casinos pop up a warning that you want to bet the maximum amount.
If the warning does not pop up, it is a failure of the casino developers. Perhaps this is a common mistake, or perhaps it was done on purpose. It is impossible to prove that they did it intentionally.
In any case, the best punishment for them will be that you stop playing there and they will lose a regular visitor. Perhaps someone else after reading your message will also decide not to play there anymore.

Everyone is emphasizing on casino game currently, the competition am seeing in gambling  is high, betting and know betting is base on choice, because everyone can bet in any betting site because all are gamble,
And I noticed that betting to win is based on believe and personal prediction,
I advice to play gain base on your mind direction not because you have seen someone or multitude  betting on a particular casino game then you choose to play the same, is totally abnormal as a gambler.

I would also assume they are doing it purposely so player can accidentally click it. Of all places where to put it, why to put it somewhere near users could unconsciously click it. I wouldn't call it a poor design but deliberately designed.

If they want users to stay for a long time on thier casino, fixing buttons in place would be a good solution to it unless they just want users to just do one bet and gone all his funds in one max bet.

The other casino screenshots you have shared are reputed ones. So they definitely would not want any negative publicity around the maxbet feature. That's the reason why they have added an extra validation layer to provide a chance to the player to confirm if they want to use maxbet or not.

Probably Gigabet just wants to earn more and more out of the player's pocket. However, I see that the owner has replied from a gmail account that the maxbet feature can be disabled. I wouldn't play in any such casino which doesn't have at least an email ID.

Yes i've visited and played on different casino before and until now some of them specially the new opened casino always put the max bet near the other buttons and doesn't have the second confirmation about betting max which may lead to this kind of accident especially when you are using mobile phone.

Some users over at Trustpilot claim that the site is not provably fair. That's about it what I could find.
I find it very weird that a user doesn't get notified that he is about to do a max bet. Looks like a very intentional thing. Forget about the site and play elsewhere.

Some casinos gives you warning when you are clicking the max bet option but most of the sites don't do that so its your responsibility to check the amount you are betting and no one can be blamed here because it is not the issue of gambling site.What will you do if you win on that accidental max bet, will you still complain? No right then just move and it is another lesson for you.

Well we can only blame them for having a poor design and maybe a prone to accident design but still there's some mistake on the players side (but still it will not happen if the design is good) the only thing we can do here like what the OP said send a message to the designer or developer to avoid this. For me it's really important that there's is some notification pop up asking if you really wanted to place a max bet.

if you are not used to betting on crypto casino, its easy to get lost as i have the first few times i have mistakenly click buttons. for new players i guess will take time to get used to the interfaces. maybe the gigabet really have to change this gui because the newcomers in crypto are going to increase in numbers and if they wanna be on the competition its best to redesign.

Basing of on whats being discussed about sites design or whatsoever then it will vary into each platform and it will vary on users jurisdiction if that one is better or not for them.Some do like simple
designs and some do like that fancy ones- Its a matter of preference. When it comes to losing due to GUI then its not actually on house fault but rather on the gambler itself.

You're right on this one and majority will really prefer on using or seeing gambling sites that are well designed and we know that first impression do last and when a certain user do see the gambling site looks good
in first visit then that would really be a big factor or reason for them to stay when they get interested on the site by its UI/UX.Its one of the most important thing a gambling site owner should consider.

Unfortunately I think this is the only option left, the OP gave this casino yet another chance even when he has run into some problems in the recent past, he does not tell to us what were those problems but if I were himself I would have never played in a casino in which I had problems but to each his own, and then something like this happens to him and loses all of his money in a bet that he didn't want to make.

As such his only option is to avoid this casino from now on, unfortunately it is an expensive lesson to learn but at least if you stop playing in casinos that employ unfair tactics then this is not going to happen to you again.

Back on topic about max bet scenario and blaming off design.Well, they do have some point but actually its on gamblers responsibility on  clicking up on things.

this problem mostly occur in trading platforms where the coin or the wallet of that coin is unavailable . for the gambling sites they can also do maintenance but not verry often to avoid inconviniences to the gamblers @op you havent share any screenies of gigabets design ? you better upload one so that we can see if they really mean it and have you already complain on them before but why this problem still exist . it means that they arent listening to you or to other gamblers that also have the same bad experience

Gigabit It is much worse this problem occurs in almost all types of casinos. You have to concentrate on achieving maximum profit the players themselves have their own techniques and application of the basic rules developed by the whole generation these are the magic keys to win over and the great joy from the process after all it is always more enjoyable when we can influence events and processes. There is confidence in controllability which means that processes are more likely to work for you but it is quite difficult to feel it on your own in the casino because it requires a special knowledge.

You can't say this is a failure but maybe a strategy, while they are still giving you a warning which can be appreciated for sure. And mobile devices are not really good to bet because most of the people who bet wrong amount due to their fat fingers so either choose a big screen ipad or just the pc to avoid thse kind of unnecessary loss in the future.
