Out on 13th, I was playing so bad tonight. With only 14 people, it should be 'easy' to secure atleast 1 point. SteamTyme best me out on that play, I wasnt really expecting pocket ace . I think of few possibilites of his potential hands but pocket ace never came into my thought, Oh well I guess this is it for me this week

I was getting alot of AK, AQ, AJ and such but none actually make it into atleast one pair  , unlucky day for me

Damn! It was a nice tourney. Still two left, I am rooting for Obaming, he is having a good run after coming to the final table but Steamtyme is one of the finest regular and got upper edge to win this one.

I had a long spell of lead but played couple of bad hands and lost big stack. That 44 vs Pitkin's A8 was mistake. I should have folded on flop. Nevertheless, 4th position is fine too but missed ITM spot by 1 position. But someone has to be 4th, be it me this time.

I had to play the player in this hand. I can't remember all the details but I think you limped in and I was one of the blinds. I was hoping you had a strong hand as I've been caught by you limping those a few times. Decided to keep with the slow play a bit and got lucky you hit top pair on the board.

I had some great hands today that actually got paid. I hit Quad Q's against 1ron1c I believe, the board was so wet I couldn't risk them just checking back on the river so I bet out half pot and they thought about it and folded. I'm assuming it was something like AK, but there were flush draws and straight draws that also hit, and the paired board.

Then there was my Iv4n suckout, negating his straight on the river. I almost folded to your 1500 chip bet on the turn; if I only had the flush draw I was going to fold, but with the straight draw added in I couldn't pass it up. Like any true villain I willed my 3 outer 9 and took it down.

Solid final table today. I rolled into heads-up with a massive chip deficit, 20K VS. 40K ish, managed to get to even stacks then it was a battle with each of us gaining and losing fairly equally. Final hand wound up being my AQd against their A9s, I can't remember if they opened and I 3-bet or if they limped and I raised, either way I believe they jammed and I called.

I'll update the spreadsheet this evening. Great game again today everybody.

Only 14 players today, for a second straight week, some regulars missing again, i hope that downtrend in attendance will not last for long.
It's always nice to have at least two full tables to start the game.

I had almost the exact same experience as last week, short-stacked after going against some unfavorable river cards (plunging under 3k), then start shoving my way into the final table and finish 3rd, that's back to back ITM for me and 21pts (leading atm). Yo, what the hell, that can't be? haha

Anyway, gg again and cya all next weekend!

After losing my chance to triple up by folding A5s, preflop



I quickly went down to 5 BBs, and lost all of it, going all-in with K9s(which could be expected with 7 players at the table).

Not the best play from my side, but overall a tight and thus thrilling game, which I enjoyed very much.

So you have been in front on the flop already, when the 2nd Q wouldnt come on the board I probably would have lost everything

Alot of us actually feel awful about ourselves especially after that lame play yesterday. Whats worse is that with only 14 registered, it should be 'guaranteed' points if you actually play a tighter game compared with the others but yeah shit happens

I feel awful about myself yesterday and tried to go for the little BTC tournament on swc as a redemption, satellited myself with 100 buy in. I was doing decent on the satellite and on the early stage of the tournament but then shitty gameplay from me made me out again. I really need to hold myself from clicking that all in button if Im not 100% sure I might win the hands

Yeah it's nice seeing 4 of a kind but it did make I couldn't really think of a way to get paid anymore on the river. Though that board was so connected It was nice knowing I had the nuts.
I would say you are playing fine, you folded out top top instead of calling down and losing your stack. Not much you can do before that to get away.

But if it is good to say and the recommendation is; make your "send" early.

In my defense I must say that I was with the issue of the satellites or the placebo effect of getting that ticket, so that by individual conditions of fun, to be able to say, I got the buy-in. man! I still enjoy being able to enter this way, and it also serves as a warm-up for those of us who are not on the daily rails of poker.

This week I'm going to the Gym but the "pokerGym" ... I put a few hours this week in SWC, writing you this I swear I hear the song "eye of the tiger" in my head

In fact, the entry to MTT Q# 3 was at 1200.
The route was not the satellites, they were desolate, only another user accompanied me on the waiting route ... but the minimum number of players never arrived.

So I noticed there are some Tiny turbo tournaments [500 GTD] buy-in.48 + 2
And voila! hit the first one, I actually, I left all my abilities and desires in this tournament, you see the thing about not being in shape (lack of poker gym) ...

I hope those involved in the thread allow me, this preview ... because in reality I think that everything is mainly about having fun and being distracted for a while, in a game that when you pick up the pace and understand it, you want to promote it, you want everyone to play ... by the way, this speech is not for those involved in this thread, it is for those of "micro bets/limits or they are handled in the correct sense of bankroll... so understand that SWC offers alternative ways for you to participate.

As for the game that concerns us "Bitcointalk Private poker Series" ...

I will highlight the work of 1r0n1c I steal the button every time from the cutoff ... I did not want to defend it with "air", when I do I assure you that it will not be with defensive intentions, at least in this tournament ... another type of tournament my minimum rank is 72s

In that sense, the other relevant thing were two defenses of my BB against iv4n, perfectly! I remember was two, he let me know through the chat; because by letting me know it, he made me remember that he is the champion of one of the series /

The other thing to note was a FH that I completed on the turn with my pair of TT which I let pass to get a mini raise, on the river. and finally my A7 against the winner of the tournament.

It's a tight race indeed. Anyone, absolutely anyone, even someone who missed all the first 3 games, can make it to the finals still, because we have 5 games to come. On the other hand, the place in the top 9 isn't guaranteed even for Pitkins(21 points), because, for example, you needed 25 points, at least, in the #3 Bitcointalk Poker Series for that.

So, I encourage new people, who love to play poker, join us in this Series, because it's definitely not too late yet.

Ivan... you know you cant win - I have started playing more seriously until I secure 5th place and then I throw... lol

Very nice move, thanks for that - so if anyone would like to join the series, ivan will generously be paying for it - give it a try, you will still have a shot and in series #3, someone who only played one (I think it was one...) tournament even won the lottery.

I can assure you that you are not alone with those aspirations.  

So, we can expect a tough(meaning entertaining) game this Sunday. You can't imagine how eager I am to punish those aggressive players with some good bluff-catcher. But we'll see what happens. Sometimes you call a seemingly obvious bluff from a regular raiser, and ... Whoops!, you lose. "That's Poker Baby!", as they say.
