What a poker evening yesterday.
Quite early, one of my first hands was pocket 33 and I lost almost everything. Flop: K K 3 … Obaming and me went all in, unfortunately Obaming had pocket KK 
I lost almost all of my Chips, just had 400 or 500 left but I had a nice comeback and gained some points at the end!

What a desaster that I lost again almost everything against str8flu5h, his A J has beaten my A Q, what a shame...

Dude, your comeback yesterday was insane. You were almost dead after a couple of hands and made it to the final table which was really impressive.

I didn't have time to join the tournament this week, but nice that you have a stream so I can have a look and get a feel for it this way before I join you guys. You will also get a follow from me, no problemo    I hope that as you end with this series you will start a new one so new players have a chance to participate in the final tourney, that will make it more exciting and interesting for us new guys for sure.

Tbh I played some bullshit this series. Don´t know if I will participate for the last 2 games but hopefully we will start the next series soon

Haha thanks. Was sunrunning at the beginning  to the annoyance of efialtis but missed some spots when it got deep.
And yeah that was really crazy, but after I hit the set on that dry board I was committed to the pot. If you would have raised preflop I would muck this hand.

Not sure if we will have another one but when we thought that 3rd series would probably be the last one, Efialtis surprised us with the 4th . So cross your finger that he can secure another one with swc

You can also play the last two game and then get your seat on the small final ( Not sure if we will have small final again this time )

The Small Final

Every player who joined at least 2 of the 8 qualifying tournaments, will be eligible to play in the Small Final, no matter how many points they accumulated. That is in case both Finals will run simultan You will receive a password for this tournament and don't have to pay an entry fee. TBD: I prefer only players to participate in this who have not qualified for the Grand Finale.

The date and prize money is TBA.

And it happened again. I always prefer Barca game above anything else and it was second week in a row that Barcelona game clashed with our poker tourney. Both time, game was scheduled 2 hours after poker started. So I had the strategy to play aggressively for first two hours, stake enough chips and then sitout to end somewhere around 6-7th position. However, both times I failed to stack big pile. Hence, I played do/die hands at the start of 3rd hour and eventually lost.

Now I have slimmest of the chance to qualify for the final but I am going to give everything next Sunday. Beware everyone! I am surely winning the next qualifier. But the bad thing is that Barcelona again has the fixture that will clash with the 8th qualifier. Timings are not out yet but I hope that match would end before the poker starts.


PS: I went all-in against SteamTyme (if I remember correctly) with 55 against KQ after flop. King was already dealt on the table along with the pair of sixes. I knew that hand, played with same hole and flop cards before and I was sure another 5 gonna dealt on the river and that so happened. I didn't check SwC's RNG yet but it may be possible that combination of cards repeat. It may be mere co-incidence but I will have a look into that.

I would say it's probably best to payup as soon as you realise the mistake. That or early so as to make things easier on efi.

Now I can play the last 3 tourneys just like any normal 1K buy-in tournament . I mean, no need to pay additional 400 chips.

Right. If I read that post I definitely missed that part. It seems that was the intent, and is complete BS.

So it's 4am, night shift and I'm getting slightly sick. So I'll try and be short and to the point. The fees for these tournaments are non-negotiable. Like for the sake of fuck, there are individuals who pre-pay their entire series, and given the choice are donating any additional fees they pay rather than take a refund they are entitled to and can receive. This is a semi-fun community game, not some reg table in the basement of Vinny's fine automotives where nothing but the chips matter and Villains be damned.

I couldn't point out anybody here except maybe Globb0, but when I talk about these plays and beats it's like I'm discussing playing with friends. Hell the wife even laughed and asked if we play for money because she said" You don't even seem a little pissed" after a suckout or BB.

So to see someone angling themselves ere in this manner, is pretty F'ing disgusting to me. The lottery was set up because we have a wide range of skill levels and wanted to keep this fun and reasonable for all.

I agree.  After all, it is stated in the rules(in the OP):

The entry fee per tournament is 1,400 Chips or 0.0014 BTC.
1,000 chips you pay for registering for the tournaments directly at SwC.
400 chips you send to the SwC account "youcantwin" via P2P transfer. 200 of those chips go towards the prize pool for the Grand Final, the other 200 chips towards the lottery.

I suggest @Improved to give it another thought. Rules are rules, they apply to everyone.

Betwrong, Is this confirmed ? To be honest I dont feel safe getting the 4th spot with only 31 points  . I was playing last weekend hoping to only get atleast one point to secure my spot because there are few new names that actually made it as a contenders for the Grand Finale unlike the previous series so getting more points should be a safer option for me

Alot can happen at this point but Ivan and improved should be 100% safe to get the slot for the Grand Finale

No need for a poll. Its clearly written in the OP that the buyin is 1400 chips or 0,0014 BTC and not 1000 or 0,001 BTC
Everything else in my respect is violating the trust of efialtis who sent the regs the passwords for all tournaments.
