Is this a F you to all of us?

Serious note: can someone bring all the scam accusations against 1xbet/bit that posted in this forum so far? Maybe theymos is missing them.

This one recently got bumped https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5257804.0;topicseen

With the number of accusations here and on reddit they're probably too gray to advertise.

They tried to launch a signature campaign 1XBIT.COM Signature Campaign but they closed it because of scam accusation on them.

They reacted good with that post to close their campaign.
We don't want participants of our campaign to receive negative feedback for wearing our signature, that's why we are pausing the campaign.

We will relaunch it once there is a fertile environment for launching it.  (locking thread to avoid off topic posts)

It looks like 24kcasino bought the spot in question. Unless the spot is being subleased, or they didn’t pay their winning bid, the two entities are probably one and the same.

Let's have a list of the scam accusations in this post. Please bring more @everyone
Maybe this is enough about the 1xbet / bit scam site.

you can find it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0

There are several members who have bet on the 1xbet gambling site, and this is the advice from those who have bet.

Please stop betting with 1xBET scam! You have been warned.

1XBET Sports Betting - Worst online sports betting you'll find anywhere.

Online gambling. If you don't look for a bit of information on the site you want to bet on, your money can be lost, drifting like a needle falling into the ocean.
Be careful, find information about the site you want to install.

1.  Their profile here has already been red trusted.
- 1xBit.com

2. They have a very bad record of withholding people's funds whenever they are trying to withdraw., delayed deposits, very slow support, cancelled live bets etc. So many scam accusations here about that.

... And many more, so if i were you... I wouldn't even think of sending their money there

Plus one more.

Add 4 more counts of fraud, about 1xbit.

1. Topic: 1xbet a Russian scam! Becarefull
2. Topic: 1xbit/1xbet scam
3. Topic: 1xbet scam
4. Topic: Scammed by 1xbet | 9000$ scam 1xbet is a scam

Scam websites like 1xbit shouldn't be advertised on Bitcointalk. I don't know, maybe theymos isn't aware about reputation of this website. And it's interesting way to buy ad slot, using account of other casino, which don't have such awful reputation. I haven't hear about 24kcasino before, but these actions shows that they are obviously related with 1xbit.

Searching for "Curacao registration No. 137028" yields a shitload of sites including 24kcasino and weirdly two different business names (SG International and Pomadorro) but no direct link to 1xBit. At any rate this is uber sketchy.

it is probably an omission. just a year ago Yobit was refused to buy ad slot, mostly because of the negative feedback. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5173717.msg52206580#msg52206580
although they later launched his signature campaign anyway, with a lot of controversies.
I am in favour of not allowing them (and other well-known scammers) any kind of advertising here.

Removed. A service with this reputation should not have been allowed to advertise, but because the bidder was fairly established and had no negative trust, I didn't do enough research, and I missed the scam accusations and the other account. Apologies.

It's best to PM me high-priority things like this, since I notice PMs more quickly than Meta posts with vague titles.

I will donate the 0.08 BTC from this to some charity or charity-like-thing which accepts BTC. Any suggestions for a particular charity? (If there's no consensus in about a week, then I'm just going to donate it to The Water Project.)

Update: 0.0679971 BTC donated to Royse777's Project Covid-19, and 0.0120029 BTC donated to The Water Project.

How about in here?

Project Covid-19 : An approach to support the Bitcoin community

I see it fits right as many community members in here are inactive after the pandemic strikes across the world. I just hope that that project is still active. Better contact with its OP, @Royse777, for the donation process. I hope they are the ones that you would chose, as many countries even the forum members are still being affected by pandemic which also affected many jobs.

Thanks for restoring the balance and to fulfil the expectation. I did not have PM in mind but I see the point of PMing and I am ensuring it next time.

If you are okay with helping an individual then I will suggest helping this user : Xxbigcalebxx

She is in contact with us in the Covid-19 project and in need of some financial support. She has very bad heart problem and in around 30th July (from her PM) she got COVID-19 positive too. We did not go deep about her COVID-19 case but for her heart problem info, we dug a deep, and we believe she is not lying about it, a genuine aid seeker. If you are interested then I can share you the details we collected so far. I did not follow up with her lately because we ran out of funds in the COVID-19 project. But since you are looking to donate the fund, I thought it will be nice if I at-least give you the knowledge.

Edit:
@Insanerman, thanks. If anyone wants to donate the user Xxbigcalebxx then please PM her and ask an address to send the fund directly. We can assure that we believe she has serious heart problem and with that as per her words she was/is COVID-19 positive too.
The project is still active, but we really do not have much funds hence there are not many activities.

PS: I will lock the topic in the next 24 hours since the topic already served the purpose.

It looks like 24kcasino bought the spot in question. Unless the spot is being subleased, or they didn’t pay their winning bid, the two entities are probably one and the same.

They even ran a successful looking signature campaign here.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5213621.0

Probably, both 1xBit and 24kcasino are owned by the same person.

Any suggestions for a particular charity?

Ofcourse, go with @Royse777's one as mentioned above.

Royse777, I do not want to interfere in your project and whom you will help, but the person in question has only 16 posts on the forum and in one of them states :

Yes i view gambling as a source of entertainment, mostly when I'm not winning... lol but i gamble constantly.

If you're sure money is really needed it would be a very nice gesture, but the question is how much less than $1000 can help with heart problems?

Save the Children accepts Bitcoin donations. However, I find it weird that they have two websites. One .org, the other .net.
There is no info on the .net version about Bitcoin donations. But both seem legit.

Since the money that you're trying to donate came from proceeds of a scam website, I think it's much fitting to send it to Badbitcoin so they can put more sites like 1xbit where they belong - on their badlist. https://badbitcoin.org/. Nothing like donating scam money to an anti-scam site right?  Wink

They say they need more donations to keep the site going so I think the money will go to good use making tools that scan websites.

Don't look like an nice scam busting site, as they are personally accepting advertisements from 1xBit on there website. Looks fishy.

I will donate the 0.08 BTC from this to some charity or charity-like-thing which accepts BTC. Any suggestions for a particular charity? (If there's no consensus in about a week, then I'm just going to donate it to The Water Project.)

Although it has been previously suggestion still I just have to recommended this project (Covid-19 project) the founder is doing a great job and should be given all the support he need to make it a success. On different occasions citizens from my country has benefited from the generosity of the community members.
Example; Project Covid-19: Supply to 50 (Now 70) families in Nigeria, Images

The rest charity organization and probably others (yet to be suggested) that don't have representation on the forum can't be monitored but this can since transparency has always been their mode of operation. Personally I was thinking of doing some charity in my locality that would had needed some assistance since school will be resuming soon but from @Royse777 comment above, I just have to vouch for him believing he'll utilize it wisely.

I did not see this gambling habit post. Yeah, it's a newbie account but the papers and other supporting meterials they provided was investigated by a physician in the forum since I and Hhampuz do not know much about medical things.

If you're sure money is really needed it would be a very nice gesture, but the question is how much less than $1000 can help with heart problems?
I know 0.08 BTC or 0.09 (including the fund we have in the address) is not much but at-least this will help a little.

Anyway, as I said in my last post that I will lock this topic. If anyone has any question then feel free to post it in the Project COVID-19 discussion topic.
