Isn't every vaccine in its final trials now? All the european ones are on human test subject now, one Chinese one is and the Russian one. It seemed before that they skipped important safety measures but I'm not sure if they're still doing the same or not now.

Itll probably be effective, not sure if any of them are at a good level of safety yet since trials haven't finished on any.

Now the second question is whether the vaccine is effective or not. This is a tricky question, because anti-viral vaccines can never be 100% effective. If a vaccine is around 70% effective against COVID 19, then a mass vaccination program will succeed in slowing down the spread of the disease, and the pandemic will stop in a few months time. Now I don't know whether this vaccine is having an effectiveness above 70%.

its on the third trial this means they have seen success to the 1st and 2nd trial, correct?

it wouldn't really need for the 3rd if they see it has no potential to have made good effect to vaccinate. there is the need to find out what it could do though. whether the vaccine will last long and will an individual still catch covid when the vaccine expires and is there a side effect.  if you are London speaks Russian after few dosage of sputnik, then its not good.

Sputnik is not the first coronavirus vaccine in the world and still not safe..  currently, there are a few vaccines being tested, you can freely track it here..
23 vaccines have reached phase 1..
14 vaccines have reached phase 2..
8 vaccines have reached phase 3..
and 2 vaccines have reached phase limited..

Russia cannot escape the skepticism from the world coz they only studied their vaccine in two months from a very limited people of their own country, this may mean that the effects of the vaccine might hit differently towards different races from different parts of the world. Although Putin calls it safe and effective there are still doubts that most of us are having right now. I would be very glad if the advanced trials will be approved. Let's hope for its effectiveness.

Since its in the testing final phase, the results of the "volunteers" will tell. Yes most vaccines are at this stage, and only tests and statistics can tell for sure.

As for the name, i can only think of poor Laika getting sent into space to die in the name of showing a finger to the Americans, but truth be told its just a word like any other.

We can only hope the results are good so we can end this pandemic asap. My country isn't getting anything from Trump anyway, but Putin has agreed to let us test it here.

its a historic name though. i have also have a bad impression of the name. in our country there is a notorious gang named "Sputnik".

but that doesn't matter now as long as it vaccine will actually work. so far there are not news that sputnik vaccine isn't effective. i hate the lockdown already because there classes had started already, the kids are just not used to online classes. i'd be the first to offer my arms to be vaccinated.

Not completely effective for everyone which is stated by the Russian government itself, especially for minor and senior citizen but irony is they are the one who affected most from covid 19.

About the safety, they din't give much attention to it due to the vaccine race.

Vaccines are work to be like that. If it has been clinically approved and it has passed all the phases of trials, then it has proven to be effective and working.

I watched NAS' daily video about the vaccine from China and it's on phase 3 already and there's hope on that vaccine too, I can't remember if there's a name that was mentioned or there's none.

Sure. What is the point for them to create a bad or not working vaccine? To harm the health of your fellow citizens? And from whom then will they levy taxes or whom will rule?

This vaccine must be working, because otherwise it makes no sense.

No vaccines are safe. How can you tell? simply check out all the things in nature that are safe when they inject something into you... snake bites, bee stings, manatee stings, thorn punctures, insect bites, etc. Can you find a good one?

The point is, if the medical had any good vaccines, they would have been smart enough to cure us from Covid back in 2019 or sooner... like 2000. The medical doesn't want to cure us. They don't know how, but if they did, they wouldn't cure us. No money in cures... only in selling vaccines/medicine.

Well, the main question should be... does the world can trust in Rusia? and to be honest i trust more in a Russian vaccine than a Chinese or American vaccine... and i don't know why at all but is what we have.

Maybe the current Vaccine works fine, but i'm afraid about a virus mutation because they can mutate and become tolerant to the vaccine, i just hope that doesn't happen.

Im honestly not sure any of these vaccines would work or be safe, they have been developed in such a rush its pretty questionable, like how do we know these are safe we are kinda just going off the word of these people...

Because, there is a race and that's why most pharmaceutical companies are in a hurry. And some countries that want to be proclaimed and reowned in the world which values the importance of this race because it will be forever in the history.

Most of them are in the testing trials and we'll see if it will work. Thanks to those volunteers who have joined the individual trials from these pharma companies,

The reason that they are conceived quickly is because they have the equipment to create the vaccine and this is not the 19th century where they are struggling for funding. Vaccines work.
