In 2014, Leah McGrath Goodman published a report in Newsweek claiming that Dorian Satoshi Nakamoto, a 64-year-old Japanese-American man from Southern California, was the creator of Bit[Suspicious link removed]dman claims that Doreen Nakamoto "implicitly" identified himself as Satoshi Nakamoto in an interview with Goodman; However, Doreen Nakamoto later vehemently denied any involvement in the creation of bitcoin.

McGrath Goodman is a distinguished reporter who has won awards in his career and has published articles in prestigious publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Fortune and the Guardian. In an interview with Anthony Pompliano, he explained that he now has new information about Nakamoto's identity and intends to write more about it. Goodman stated:

As my report was being published, the Department of Homeland Security launched an investigation.
I received many emails; But I received a special email from a group who wanted to divulge real information, and I hope to write more about it and provide more information about my initial report.

There are many more secrets, and they are not all just about Durin, and I think we all knew that.

Just focusing on Dorin was not very satisfying; There are definitely more tips and I really hope to be able to publish them as well.

Goodman quoted Nakamoto as saying:

I no longer participate in this work and I can not talk about it.
This project has been entrusted to other people and they are now in charge of it. I have nothing to do with them anymore.

Police officers at the scene later confirmed that Goodman's quote from Nakamoto was correct.

In an interview with Pompliano, McGrath Goodman said that the issue of his relationship and interaction with Nakamoto before the face-to-face meeting was quite clear. He explained:

We've been exchanging emails for weeks. I even sent him an email with Bitcard given to me by Gavin Andresen. He also received all these emails before the interview, knowing that we were going to talk about bitcoin.

I was disappointed that he later claimed that he did not know what the subject of the conversation was. He certainly knew we wanted to talk about bitcoin. We've been talking about this for weeks on the Internet before I actually went to his house.

There have already been a lot of different information and different versions about the personality of Satoshi Nakamoto. Satoshi Nakamoto took the necessary steps to hide his identity. He either counted on never to be revealed, or must prepare evidence in case his identity is revealed.
Therefore, if the real Satoshi himself does not want to appear, all actions to establish him will be ineffective. Any versions, guesses and assumptions will not lead to anything.

There are already many possibilities and theories about Satoshi, even some people named themselves Satoshi, one of them is craig wright. if you google "Fake Satoshi" you will see his name first in the list. According to another theory, Satoshi is not just one person and there are some people they made a team and call is Satoshi. However, I personally hope none ever understands his/her real identity.

Every year there's always a new version claiming that he is Satoshi Nakamoto. I think the real Satoshi Nakamoto wants a private life so whoever claims he/she is the real Satoshi Nakamoto don't believe them. The real Satoshi Nakamoto if he/she wants to reveal his/her identity the moderators of this forum will verify it for sure. Or he/she will provide the evidence that he is the creator of bitcoin. So don't waste our time finding someone who doesn't want to be found.

What is the authorities going to do with Satoshi, they can do nothing as the current development is not under him, the only party that is going to gain anything is the media who is after the real identity as they will get some clicks whenever they come up with a theory on who the real Satoshi Nakamoto is and that is what we saw in the past few years and nothing substantial.

True, but it is more likely that there is no Satoshi Nakamoto. Most likely, this is a group of programmers performing a secret order for a form of payment that cannot be tracked. It is even possible that this is a government project for pumping and laundering money. It seems unlikely to me that one person can create a product of this scale.

Some people are probably purely curious, while others may have certain purposes. In this matter, I think we only have one option, is to let them tired with all the questions related to Satoshi. Let's suppose we found out who Satoshi is. What other achievement besides putting his life under high risk would you have? You've potentially destroyed someone's life, a person's who has invented something to grant you financial freedom. Congratulations.

If Satoshi EVER wants to reveal himself, he will. Just give him peace, because it so far seems like that's what he wants... and for a good, very good reason.

The thing is more suspicious as after the Q&A of Dorian Nakamoto on reddit, satoshis P2P Foundation account posted its first message in five years, stating: "I am not Dorian Nakamoto."
It's been also rumored that it's the brother of Dorian called Yasutaka Nakamoto who actually lead the development of Bitcoin. Once an insider of Escobars cartel, he became an CIA informant and he was also a computer engineer. Nakamoto, Computer engineer, CIA, they do connect.

So uh, what's the purpose of this actually? They can describe whatever group they want to make it seem mysterious and all-knowing but I won't believe jacksht about it. The hell was that article even about, they should just write their own book with the amount of information they came up with tbh. Also, look at the end of the article if you want something to stop yourself from studying Satoshi. You just bothered a perfectly normal family by asking around something they don't even know about without any solid proof, and although you weren't the one who did the interview or something, you're still basically making the topic live which instigates more reporters to actively research about it more.

No information though, the same recycle info about the Satoshi and he was supposedly Dorian which the guy has been vehemently denying for years. The only thing that correlates both of them is the last name "Yakamoto" and thats is. We may never know if the guy is Japanese in the first place.

Quite naive for you to think that the authorities wouldn't do anything to the person who invented something that has a shot of beating the current monetary system; even if Satoshi doesn't have anything to do with recent development. You have no idea how much control they could potentially lose because of this dude's invention.

I still believe authorities are forever on the look on who the real Satoshi Nakamoto is, his invention is taking the world by storm and government consider his invention a threat to the present system, they will keep looking at him, that includes the 1 million Satoshis in his wallet the media wants him, they want to know more about his invention and about his personality which was left hanging when he left the community.

We need to give him time to do whatever he wants to do, and we don't have to search who he is because I don't think we can find him if he doesn't want to reveal himself. He can easily show himself to the public who he is and tell everything about his creation and explain more details about what we want to know. But until that time, that will be only a secret which we don't know who he is.

We should continue what he has done, and we should thank you to him because of his work, we can have a new opportunity to make money. Perhaps, now he still does something secret that makes him hide behind the wall and not tell the public about him.

that is why an old information was chosen thinking people don't know or remember it so he could sell it to them as "new".
