The execution of Keith Dwayne Nelson

Nelson was sentenced to death for the kidnapping, sexual abuse and subsequent killing of a 10-year-old girl he took while she was rollerblading in front of her Kansas home. Nelson confessed to raping the girl and strangling her to death with a wire.

How can an adult rape a minor of 10 and strangle her to death?

Is this not heinous crime against humanity?

What is the point of strangling her with a wire, could she be struggling to attack Nelson or what?

It's my traditional English background. The use of a surname without a title or Christian name was reserved for Lords,but that seems to have gone by the bye. The other use comes from references by public school boys, who tended to use surnames rather than Christian names. (remember that in England "public" schools are the top private schools, free education is provided by state schools).
